“Good taste, but after two months in humi still had some constuction issues.”
“We were impressed with the other J. Fuego models: especially the Corojo Oscuro, and thought they were some of the best value smokes we'd encountered; so since they were out of stock, we decided to try the "Royal Nicaraguan" - bad idea. This version is very loosely rolled; but still will not stay lit. The description says it uses a long filler; but we still ended up with a mouthful of small bits. The aroma and taste are pretty good with no real bad habits - but also nothing to get enthused about either.”
“I know I'm contrarian, but I preferred these to the corojo oscuro. Not a bad smoke for the price I paid.”
“I don't know why the bad reviews but I enjoyed the few that Ive smoked. No constructions issues at all. Burned even and was easy to cut. And that was the day I received them. Will buy again. You cant beat the price on these at all.”
“....It's almost impossible to make it burn even it burns too hot and the wrapper on 90% of the batch I received has lots of imperfections ( small holes in it). It's just not worth it. I would much rather have a Victor Sinclair sampler. J. Fuego makes good cigars but this one it's their best. Never ever again.”
