“Got my Perdomo Slow-Aged yesterday, what a great cigar! I love Nicaragua tobacco and this one is comparable if not better than the best from Esteli. It was so good that I had to fire up another one, staying up way past my usual bed time. Excellent draw and taste at an unbelievable price. Thanks again CI, as always, you guys are the best!”
“A Great Cigar (Slow-Aged, Lot 826)!! I got one in a sampler or freebie or something. Just smoked it. It's excellent! But what does "slow-aged" mean? They got a time machine or something to slow down the aging process? I don't know, and I don't really care. This is a GREAT cigar!”
“A well-constructed, solid cigar that delivers all the goods: Great looks, comfortable draw, even burn and plenty of smoke that's rich and flavorful. This cigar will satisfy experienced smokers and is perfect for newbies wanting to step things up a notch at a price point that makes it a worth a try and a staple in your humidor.”
“Great cigar (Slow-Aged Lot 826 by Perdomo), great value. I f tried many others and always come to this one.”
“Me Likey!!!! Great smoke (Slow-Aged, Lot 826) ... no bull. Got the maduro and all I can say it wow. Nice burn, good presentation, smooth, medium body flavor and tasty. I must admit, I thought it wouldn't be this good. Can't wait to order the naturals.
Thanks again, CI!”
“My search for an excellent everyday sub 3 dollar cigar is over. This is the only sub $3.00 cigar that I've ever ordered more than one bundle. I thought the first was a fluke because of how much I enjoyed it. I thought maybe I was just in a good mood, but one bundle through, and not a single bad one in the bunch, not one disappointment. I'm sold.”
“So far I've only tried that Maduro, but these pack a punch. I would easily call these Full Body but only Medium Flavor. They are toasty without much Maduro richness and no chocolate notes. The medium flavor lulls you into drawing a bit faster/harder, and then halfway through a churchill you're light headed and searching for a hard candy. Not my particular cup of tea, but I prefer them to the Tier del Sol Maduro and Fresco Maduro.”
“lit a robusto connecticut right out of the hot box that had been outside in the hot sun after the long, hot trip from cool CI to hot AZ, and I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised. was looking forward to it for a week because of the description and was not disappointed. the surprise was how good it was without having time to cool off a bit in my humidor. will try a cooled down version tomorrow, but for now, this is a great cigar from the greatest americans in the cigar biz, The Perdomos are Patriots of the highest esteem in my mind... this is a very good inexpensive cigar for those of us who like mild bodied but with flavor...
“Usually I'm a bit skeptical about claims like "slow aged" - often just a marketing ploy. However, the 826's are so smooth and without any edge, that it's obvious extra care has been taken in making these cigars.
An extremely pleasant smoke - great draw and burn with a buttery flavor that is almost "chewable." Sometimes Nicaraguan tobacco can be a bit harsh, but whatever the blend is in theses 826's, it's a winner.
The maduro wrapper was flawless and silky - surprising for a 2-buck smoke.
This one's definitely a winner, and will be added to my daily rotation.”
“A very interesting cigar indeed, the first 1/4 is unappealing but as soon as it enters the 3/4 it settles into a nice pepper\walnut taste on the palate. If you are looking for complexity skip this stick. This cigar offers a solid mild-medium experience a good first morning smoke that compliments coffee. The construction is what you expect from Perdomo and the price (Joe's daily deal) is hard to beat although I am not sure if I will purchase more. IMHO it needs to rest in my humi and possibly the complexity will emerge.”
“This is one good cigar from Perdomo. The construction and flavor is good with an excellent draw. The cigar is medium bodied and burns even and cool with a slight coffee flavor and hints of burnt nuts. You can literally smoke this cigar down to the very end without any harshness. I just ordered some in maduro and I can't wait to try those immediately upon arrival of my order. The Slow-Aged No. 826 is a great value and it is as good as some of the other premium brands of higher cost. This is one cigar that I will regularly keep in my rotation.”
“What a blockbuster bargain (Slow Aged No. 826 by Perdomo). The flavor is great and the cigar has wonderful aromas. I enjoyed the natural better than the maduro.”
“Wow! What a great cigar (Slow-Aged, Lot 826)! I got it as a gift and had no idea the price. I would have guessed it was a $6-8 smoke. I had the Churchill Natural and was really surprised at the great flavor and quality of this smoke. It's rare that I come across a cigar that I can't get enough of - this is one of those cigars. I was chomping and chomping and smoked it down to the nub. Great all the way.”
“TOP SHELF CIGAR (Slow Aged 826)! Not a "throw-away" or "it's just OK" cigar. If you like Perdomo cigars, BUY THIS! I got a sampler of all the sizes in natural and maduro a while back, and they have become my "go-to" cigar - no kidding. I prefer the natural (I smoke cigars of all wrappers and strengths). It (the natural) is what I call the "classic" Perdomo flavor: mild, but not too mild, with a touch of cedar. Nice draw; SLOOOW, even burn. You hear this a lot, but this time it's true: this smokes like a cigar that costs MUCH more. I'm smoking the churchill right now, and if it cost me $6 I wouldn't complain. If you buy them and don't like them, I'll buy them from you.”
“This is another amazing blend from Nick Perdomo (Slow Aged Lot 826). It offers everything you could ever want from a maduro cigar at an astounding price. I can't save enough good things about the releases that have been coming from Perdomo but I will say I think he is slowly dominating the arena of maduro powered smokes. Simply amazing!”
“Believe it or not, I tried my first Slow-Aged 826 at 6:30am on a camping trip this year. I sat back next to the campfire and puffed away as everyone else started to awaken. I didn't even need to have any coffee that morning...Delish!”
“Slow Aged, Lot 826 is the best of the lower end cigars produced by Mr. P., it's smooth, slightly sweet, nice aroma, even draw, firm ash, nice wrapper (though very thin be careful clipping the end or it unravels). Great bang-for-the buck.”
“THIS LOT NO. 826-SLOW AGED IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! IT MAKES A FANTASTIC ADDITION TO MY OTHER PERDOMOS. TO ME, THE TASTE IS SIMILAR TO THE PERDOMO LOT 23 AND THE PERDOMO FRESCO. I ORDERED BOTH THE NATURAL AND MADURO AND HAVE BEEN SMOKING AT LEAST 3 A DAY ONCE THEY ARRIVED. I'M REALLY GLAD I FINALLY DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. THIS CIGAR IS A 10+!!”
“The Slow Aged maduro is consistently good. Another great inexpensive cigar from Perdomo that is far superior to many premium cigars from other makes.”
“What a pleasure to smoke(Slow-aged, Lot 826) - I never take enough off the tip, But I have learned the hard way, once I knew there is no stopping me now.
Tons of smoke and not once did I ever get that burning on the tongue or the back of my throat. nice mild (not too) Very smooth - Each puff is better than the last one,as I am newbie samplers was the way to try all kinds off strengths and sizes. This rates right up with the DOUBLE HAPPINESS SAMPLER I ordered from the"INTERNET SPECIALS".
The people at C/I make it really hard to decide on my everyday Puro.
Do you make a cigar tweezer so do not have to burn my fingers to get the last Nub of the Nub????
“A remarkable medium to full flavor cigar with exceptional character, and exceptional construction. One of the best values superior to many $5 smokes....90 rating in my book down to the nub! Beautiful shiney wrapper with a long white ash. Ready to buy my third bundle. A LONG ASHES MOUTH WATERING BOOYAH to NICK PERDOMO'S 826.”
“Rock Solid - Tried my first Slow-Aged (Slow-Aged Lot 826 by Perdomo) in a sampler. Found it to be great smoke, with real nice cedar/woody flavors and very pleasing aroma. Great on the golf course. These doggies have to be one of the best price-to-value cigars on the market. The only possible criticism (very minor) is the thin wrapper, which can split about halfway through the smoke. Thats alright though, you just gotta baby them a little. Thanks to CI and Perdomo for the great product.”
“I received my bundle today (Slow-Aged Lot 826) and did what I normally don't do, I lit one up this evening. Even after a weekend storage at UPS, these were one of few cigars I have taken to the nub right out of the chute!! I looked at my 'lovely and adoring' and told her, this tastes like another bundle, hon. Very robust kudos to Nick Perdomo on the 826, a truly wonderful smoke to be enjoyed with a lovely red wine.
“I've probably smoked 200 or so of the Slow Aged 826 in both the maduro and natural wrappers over the past few years and always keep some on hand. These are some of the most consistent cigars both in taste and construction that you can buy. Whenever I want to be sure that I'm going to smoke a cigar that I can depend on to be consistently good, I'll pick up one of these. I'm a Perdomo fan and for a bundle cigar, these compare favorably to a lot of his premium blends. For the price, you can't go wrong with this cigar”
“I love Nicaraguan cigars. However, this cigar offers a Perdomo-quality smoke at a price that even this parole officer can afford. This is gonna be a regular rotation cigar (Slow-Aged Lot 826) for those evenings when I need a satisfying,l full-bodied smoke to help me forget about some of the knuckle-heads that I have to supervise. But even if you're not a parole officer, I'm sure you'll enjoy this cigar for what it is - a damn good, full-bodied, after dinner or evening cigar at a fair price (a steal, even).”
“This is a great smoke (Slow-Aged Lot 826 by Perdomo)!!! I find myself looking at the clock at work just waiting till I can get home and fire one of these bad boys up. At around 2 bucks a stick you just can't beat it. I hope after you read this you will go and buy some of your own!!!!”
“I got these yesterday and they sat in the sun for about two hours before I realized they were there. I decided to do my regular thing with a new brand and fired one up, boy was I surprised. This is a great smoke. I fell in love with the Lot 23's when they came out and the 826 is similar in taste and construction but has a longer and sweeter finish.
These are worth twice the price, but please don't increase it. I will be getting more.”
“Perdomo slow aged is the best cheap cigar on the market. I would put it a notch above the Corojo #5 from Gran Habano which used to be my favorite cheap cigar.”
“I absolutely love these. I prefer the maduro version. I think I have bought 2-3 boxes by now. I think they are the perfect cigar for the everyday budget. The taste is flavorful. The draw and burn are even. Not much to complaint about for such affordable cigars. These are my everyday cigar.”
“"Well Nick Perdomo jr. has done it again (SLOW-AGED No.826 NATS.)are a GREAT SMOKE!!!"I've smoked 6 so far and they are just a pleasure to smoke..No complaints, just a pleasure, get some and enjoy!!!”
“Perdomo is one of my favorite names brand cigars. His Slow Aged #826s are certainly worth the time and price. It has an initial peppery pull, with some nicely spicy notes. The draw can be problematic, but once they are on, they are full of cocoa and toast. Lots of smoke and the ligero gives it an added punch that I think fits more in the med.category instead of its mild/med. label. It is not the Cadillac of the Perdomo house, but it's a hell of a nice ride...”
“I got a few of these in various samplers that I have purchased and it always seems to be the pick of the litter! I am normally a maduro man however the natural in this series is the premier cigar. Don't let the milder natural wrapper fool you...this sucker still packs a punch. The flavor is rich and creamy, sometimes buttery if you luck out! The maduro also has a good flavor but seemed to be less complex than its natural counterpart.”
“Excellent stick, heavy in the hand and great construction. Not the most complex I've smoked, but at CI's price point, this one is not to be missed!”
“Good draw and construction but unpleasant smoke.”
“Awesome construction, draws like a pencil. Not the most complex in taste, but a very pleasant smoke nonetheless.”
“I bought a bundle of these cigars about a week ago. Nice smooth and mellow taste. Burn is good, draw is good but the construction is not so good around at the cap (wrapper comes apart, end up with mouthful.) I`ll try a V cutter or punch next one. Brand new Colibri CI Grip Cutter.”
“First of all let me say this is a good cigar, and one I enjoyed. However, what I have to ask myself, is this a cigar that would fit into my rotation? Having tried so many of the great cigars CI has to offer, my current selection of cigars are pretty darn good. I have some of the higher priced category, down to the lower cost but good. If I place the Perdomo Slow-Aged No. 826 against other ones in this price range. Ones such as the Davidoff Corazone, Indian Tabec Reserve, Mark Twain, and a couple of others. The Perdomos aren't good enough to take the place of the current cigars in my humidor. My last words about the Perdomo, would be a fine cigar with a medium flavor. With some difficulty in smoking even, but not enough to matter.”
“I love the Maduro, but accidentally ordered the lighter shade, and it was great too! Complex enough to be better than a $1 cigar and good enough to contend with a $5 competitor. I always have a few in the humidor and look forward to having one.”
“I got a bundle of these on a "Joe Cigar" deal on my first order just to try and to take advantage of the free shipping. Am I glad a did, very nice cigar, although I prefer maduro cigars, the 826 naturals I got are a nice change of pace and a very nice smoke!”
“I bought my first bundle of the Slow-Aged on a "Daily Joe" deal to also take advantage of the free shipping. I am always looking for nice cigars to keep in the humi that won't break the bank. After letting them sit for a week or so I started smoking them. The very first one had me hooked. It was the perfect mild-medium that I like and the taste was wonderful. I gave a few to my son. After he had smoked them he was calling and asking what they were and how to get them. AH! Another convert. I have since ordered the smaller robusto that is a great shorter smoke than the gloriosos that I got originally. I plan on keeping plenty of these on hand as a daily cigar. Thanks CI for a wonderful cigar at a great price.”
“Ordered the Naturals one Thursday afternoon around 3 PM and had them on my desk the very next morning thanks to UPS' excellent ground transit times from PA to VA and CI's phenominal fulfillment department. Took them home and fired one up that evening. WOW! 2 bucks a stick, how can you go wrong? The burn was razor sharp (I think I might have touched up one of the 5-6 I've smoked in the last couple weeks) and it provides a medium bodied smoke with some nice spice. The ash hangs on for dear life and I practically have to knock it off even at 2+ inches! You'll never mistake these for a super-premium, but at this price you won't be sorry. Will definitely be ordering more of these, and can't wait until I have my cabinet humidor next year to age some of these. Along with the JdN Fuerte Serie B these are some of the best bundled smokes I've ever had. Thanks, Cigars International!”
“A good value cigar and much better than the price would suggest. Another good choice for an everyday smoke.”
“tried these for the first time two years ago and loved everything about the cigar, throw in the price and this has been my go to cigar ever since”
“This is an excellent burning cigar, with equally good flavor. Whatever their doing when they slow age these sticks, they got it right. Mahalos C.I. for bringing us another great cigar. ALOHA !!!”
“By reading many of the positive reviews I decided to bite the bullet and buy a bundle. Boy, was I ever fooled on this. So far, I have had 3 of these cigars. The wrapper is horrible. 2 of the 3 have started to split and fall apart while smoking. The 3rd I just lost faith and snuffed it.
I would say these would be great yard cigars but I can't. They seem too fragile to be able to tolerate that sort of activity such as yard or garden work.
Maybe a few months in the humidor will bring these cigars around. I sure hope so.”
“If you're looking for a good smoke at a reasonable price, look no further. I'm always trying new cigars for about $2 to $3 a stick and am usually disappointed, but not with these. I truly enjoy these from start to finish. They burn well and though rated as medium I think they're mild to medium.
“The Perdomo Slow-Aged Lot 826 was a great purchase. I am really satisfied, and the smoke was fantastic. A lighter smoke than I usually go for, but i was satisfied none the less. Nicaragua tobacco is the best in my opinion, it is is evident in this cigar. The draw is medium to full, and has an even burn. 2 out of my 20 cigars of this kind burned unevenly. 18 out of 20 cigars is a fantastic grade for me. If you need an inexpensive, good smoke look no further. Perdomo is one of the best lines for cigars.”
“Great every day smoke. Am a Perdomo fan and this is an exellent medium cigar for the price. Can't guarantee you will like this cigar, since all pallets are different, but if you like Perdomo cigars this is worth a try.”
“This cigar really has become my daily smoke. Of all of the many different sticks in my humidors this is the one that I turn to when I don't feel like making that choice of how would this be or how will that burn. It is almost always flawless as a great tasting medium with excellent build 99 out of a hundred. A must for any humidor.”
“Every day smoke. Good flavor and draw. I recommend it.”
“Best Perdomo for the money I have found.”
“GAVE THESE A COUPLE OF MONTHS IN HUMIDOR AND THEY IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY. GOOD EVERYDAY SMOKE”
“The most for the least. A very well constructed, good draw, very consistent, my every day choice for over a year. Must try to enjoy a premium cigar, at CI's low price.”
