good taste
Mild and good taste but didn’t like the knots; had to use a poker to smoke the whole cigar. Bought three different types and only smoked three Quorums and 2 had knots.

fuhgeddaboudit!
What a value! The Quorum Short Robusto is the perfect roadie cigar--about 25-30 minutes of impeccable burn and great taste. One of the best "little cigars" out there. And they are about a buck a peice! Fuhgeddaboudit! Buy these!

Quorum review
I bought these for my "work smokes" but after 4 boxes they have become one of my faves. They are a mild stick with lots of smoke. The price makes it that much better.

Yes, you pay for what you get. This is my favorite cheaper cigar. It delivers good draw, nice burn, and good taste. My favorite is the double gordo. Give it a shot

Mixed Filler, So-So
These are better than most mixed filler cigars. They burned well, their construction and wrapper are acceptable and they held together for almost all of the burn. But it's got to be on sale before I'll go again.

Great Everyday Smoke
I've been looking for a good low cost, medium bodied, everyday smoke for years. Quorum is it! Consistently well constructed with good burn and draw. And the body is actually medium. My search is over!

Great value
Bought a couple at my local cigar shop, very good pricing, burns great, even, stays lit, medium smoke. The only downfall was I didn't really care for the taste, had to keep re cleansing my palate, had kind of a cringe burnt taste. But still a great value for a good little smoke.

If you like maduro cigars you will like these as well. Good construction and good flavor. Now a staple in my humidor.

Smooth, great price
I smoke maybe one or two cigars a month, so I'm not an expert, but these are great. My neighbor always has one lit. I'm enjoying them. Mild, doesn't scorch your palate, good taste. They arrived in perfect condition.
3 out of 5
Daily smoke to please the budget minded
The quorum is a daily smoke cigar that won't break the bank. It's flavorful with sweet under tones and pleasant aromas of light leather and cocoa. The construction of the stick is average and not a premium construction, but for the price it usual smokes and draws like a big dog stick with an occassional tough draw on a few in the bunch. However, considering all aspects of price, flavor, draw and smoke, this is a budget buy that I'm sure you will enjoy!

Quorum Corona Maduro
I've always smoked the Quorum brand. I hate the Corona Maduro. Won't say lit to too harsh of a taste. Wish I could return them. Will just throw them away.
3 out of 5
Hassle to smoke
I didn't like the way they burned. I keep all my cigars in a humidor so that they are well conditioned. These cigars kept running where one side didn't wouldn't fire. So you had to keep cleaning it up. I did like the spice there was a nice pepper on the finish.

Casa DE Garcia magnum 6x60
I really like this cigar. It has good flavor, burns even and keeps its shape. All for a reasonable price.
4 out of 5
Decent
They're a decent smoke. Get what you pay for and these could have been way worse, but for the price, you're not going to get consistently aged tabaccos. Throw these in a humidor for a month and then taste them.

Good everyday smoke
Impressed with this cigar and will be in my humidor for everyday smoking or to give to friends when they are over and want to bum a cigar. Had about 10 of the 20 and not one has disappointed. All have burned evenly and if the description did not tell me it is sandwich filler I would not have guessed it. The end cuts clean and have not wound up with filler in my mouth like I get from some of the other sandwich blends. Will be ordering more of these

Not bad but not great
I first came across this cigar at my local cigar shop. They are selling them for 2.25 and i was looking for a cheap everyday smoke. I bought one and i liked the flavors coming out of it so i went onto CI and bout a bundle for about 25.00 way cheaper then my local shop.these cigars have decent flavor and get the job done. Its not complex and it wont win any awards but if your looking for a cheap smoke for after work to unwind with this will get the job done. It starts to get a little bitter towards the end so i only smoke it to about the band point but hey they are cheap so i dont sweat it.

In mt book The Holy Grail of budget cigars
I have been smoking the Quorum classic for years hoping that someday they would come out with a Maduro. Now that they have I have indulged in a couple of bundles and I can say they do not disappoint. A well constructed stick with that sweet maduro flavor those of us not afraid of the dark love. They are regular residents of my Humidor.

Great smoke on a budget price
Tough to beat for the price. This is my go to cigar when I'm heading to a cookout or an evening with friends around the firepit. I always bring a few extras in case anyone wants to share a smoke with me. Great for a relaxed evening. Experienced cigar smokers are impressed with the flavor. Gave it four stars because the inconsistency in construction. You get that you pay for. Can't say anything bad about them.

Would not recommend to a friend.
Was hoping for some enjoyment from this cigar. Didn't get much. First 5 or so smelled like a burning fire pit. After a while in humidor they were slightly better. Still not even worth the small amount paid for them. Last 1 1/2" of cigar burns so hot it burns your lips.

Prefer the Maduro wrapper...
The Corona is well put together and addresses the problem with the shade-grown and regular Quorum...the label. The Maduro wrapper doesn't begin to unravel when you take the label off (the other ones tend to do that). And you need to remove the label pretty early cause they are up close to the head. The Maduro is a tad sweeter that the other varieties, but other than that they smoke and taste similar. A tasty and inexpensive stick that holds together well. I get about 40 minutes out of one, and at about a buck a stick I'm not worried if I step on one at the golf course. Pretty good bargain.

Quorum Robusto Maduro
a nice surprise of a cigar. Easy to handle, well rolled, burns even. Tasty with not too much spice or pepper. Not a lot of competing flavors. Pretty good down to the last 3/4 inch then toss.

My new Favorite!
I am really enjoying these. Of the 20 I ordered, I have 10 left and really wish I had more. They draw like a pencil, excellent slow burn, good ash, and tight. These are super firm and hold together well. They relight well, something I try to not do, but these can handle it. I have been smoking them at all occasions, in the yard, the car even at the desk, I love these. You know what? I think I am gonna order some more right now!

Decent low priced option
This Quorum was a decent low priced option I couldn't refuse and it didn't disappoint. I have been smoking the Pioneer Valley maduro and really like those but I thought I would give this one a try at the price point. Good, even smoke from start to finish.

For a low cost cigar, what a good deal!
So I've smoked cigars from 1.00 to 45.00 a cigar, and while these are not top tier, they are not bad at all, the cigar is medium to full body with a rich taste, i use these for a quick smoke when out in the yard, or when I am pressed for time, but I have also just sat out on the porch, and enjoyed the cool burning aroma of this hidden gem. If you are looking for a budget cigar with premium flavor, congratulations you just found it. It surpasses many cigars in its class by far.

Pleasantly Surprised
These are at a quality which is way beyond their price point. Nice hint of spice and sandalwood. I left ash on for first half of first one I smoked and it stayed intact with no sagging, just like a cigar should. I will buy these again. I use mainly for golf but also as an good evening smoke with a good wine

Quorum Toro maduro
These are a great every day smoke. The draw is mostly a bit tight, but not to the point that makes it not smokeable. The aroma is good and the tastes are earthly and cedarly (my own word). Being a cuban sandwich, they still are a good smoke.

Good Smoke
I do like these. They are a good long smoke and of the 3 i have had so far, all straight burning, no loose wrappers. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Love the size
I like these for the size primarily. I prefer the Shade grown variety that Quorum offers, but they apparently don't offer that in this size.

Very Good Smoke!
I used to be a Dominican snob until I tried a Quorum. Just proves it doesn't matter where it's made, just HOW it's made. These fine cigars are made right!

Very Enjoyable
I need to say up front that I am not a connoisseur of cigars. I like what I like. I am a big fan of 5 Vegas and Alec Bradley. I really enjoy Gurkha and Room 101. Yet I believe that Quorum has hit the mark with these. They are not nearly as expensive as my usual picks, but smoke just as well. These have a good draw and a pleasant taste. Best of all, when people come over and see my humidor and say they would like to "try" a cigar, I don't cringe when I hand them one. I will be picking up more of these and I think you should too.

Quorum: A great everyday cigar
This is my second time I've purchased a pack of Quorum Corona cigars. They are an amazing cigar for the price point. This is the cigar to stock up on and have in your humidor for you everyday smoke.

Golfer’s new accessory
Golfers what are waiting for? Smoking a Quorum Double Gordo while playing 18 holes of golf will make your day enjoyable regardless of the score you shoot. Its like having a 15th club in the bag; smooth from the first tee to the 18th. consistent taste, nicely wrapped, can’t wait to take a draw. And the cost, well its like playing Pebble Beach for only the cost of a local municipal greens fee. What do you have to lose, purchase a bundle of Quorum Double Gordo, I guarantee you will be extremely pleased and happy you have found such a great cigar. Tee it up and light one then enjoy your day.

I switched to CI from Thompson because the cigars arrived sooner in the beginning. Not so much lately.

I really like these cigars. Rich taste on a limited budget. Burn is sometimes uneven the only drawback. Strong 4 stars.

Good web front end, need to monitor their fulfillment inventories
Ordered a brand, nope, back order. Any time soon? Nope they stopped making them. Can I have a similar costing brand? Sure! Not having any idea of the quality of Quorum cigars, I asked for those. Oops. Dropping those off for return tomorrow. I think they probably have a good selection and a very good success rate overall, but they probably focus more on higher end brands.

Great Cigar
I really like these Corona maduro Quorum cigars. I smoke maduro's 90% of the time and these taste great for the price. Like the Shade Toro, I reserve these for fishing or other activities where I won't throw a fit if I accidentally drop the cigar in the water or get crud on it. I used to buy the Robusto size Quorum which is great too, but even though the Corona is a smaller ring gauge, it's around .75" longer than the Robusto and it lasts as long and puts out an abundance of smoke. I gave these 5-Stars for their overall quality. Consistent sizes, well made, even burn, good taste, and the insane price point. I've bought TONS of budget smokes, and these are a cut above the rest.

Best Budget Cigar And Even Better Price
I smoke mostly premium bundled maduro cigars, but these Quorum cigars are the crème de la crème of budget smokes. I particularly like the Shade Toro if I'm going to go sit on the riverbank and fish for a few hours or if I want something that I might have to extinguish and relight later. It's constructed well, burns even, and it has a surprisingly good flavor. Like all cigars though, I would recommend allowing them to rest in your humidor for a week or two. No cons to Quorum cigars at all.

Good for a busy day

Quorum Double Gordos
One of my first experience's of smoking cigars was with the Quorum brand. I tought, my. These are very affordable for a cigar, they must be low grade. But to much to my surprise, these were not only affordable but also a very consistent and favorable cigar. I have found Quorum's to have an easy draw, not too loose or not too tight. I have these in my rotation of cigars and am delighted with the quality and flavor. I will continue to order them along with my other favorites.

good value
I started smoking this cigar when I would shop at a tobacco store in Missouri. It was the least expensive of their selection of large cigars. Now that I am buying online, their price in Missouri was greatly inflated. This cigar's wrapper frequently unwraps and sometimes the burn is uneven. These inconveniences aside, the Quorum is refreshing and bold in flavor. The initial inch is the most flavorful. I recommend this cigar for the budget buyer. Or save up and get a Rocky Patel.

An Awesome Smoke
I am a bit of a penny pincher when it comes to cigars...especially with a daily smoker. Having tried all of the other Quorums, this one is as good as all of the other ones. This is a mellow, smooth medium bodied smoke that when I am sitting to relax, I may enjoy two of them at one sitting. The Robusto is one that I will keep stocked in my humidor for a long time to come.

I've tried worse I suppose.....
I want to like this cigar. First off...its cheap....I like that part. It doesn't burn razor sharp but burns well enough. It seems well constructed, puts out plenty of smoke....and the draw is great. Its an ok looking smoke. It lacks but one thing that I can tell.....taste. Extremely dry and nearly tasteless....especially the first half of smoke. Second half is about 5 % better as it ramps up in....well nothing but not quite as dry. Now I haven't let one sit in the humidor for a year or anything...but would find it hard to believe it could change this flavor profile a lot. I have had worse smokes and perhaps others would have a different opinion of it.

Let these sit in your humidor for a few weeks after delivery
I've had Quorum cigars that I purchased individually from a local shop and realized that these are really nice cigars for a ridiculously low price. So, I ordered a bundle of robustos from CI which were delivered quickly without complications. I lit one up within a day or two of delivery and found the cigar to be very bitter and not what I had experienced before. I had another one a day or two later with the same bitterness. These cigars are currently sitting in my humidor, hopefully settling into their nice flavor. I'm not giving up on them and I will definitely order more, BUT LET THEM SIT.

What was I thinking?
I walked by the Quorums for over a year at my local humidor. At the price they had to be a gimmick cigar. I decided to throw a couple in my bag figuring I certainly wasn't wasting much dough. Wow, was I mistaken. These will never be confused with a 90 plus rated smoke but they are not bad. I have since started buying them by the bundle. They are good and they are consistently good. Lots of smoke, decent flavor, a good burn and even draw right down to the nub. These are now my everyday smoke and they leave me plenty of room in my budget to occasionally treat myself to a box of Cohibas.

An amazing smoke !
Ever since I discovered Quorum cigars, I feel I've discovered a treasure trove! They are both economically priced, as well as a long, satisfying smoke. I also appreciate Cigars International prices, and quick delivery times.

The Quorum Cigar is an inexpensive cigar. They are a nice cigar for a short smoke. I have been smoking the toro 6 inch ring 5, but decided to try the small coronas for awhile. Not a bad smoke.

Quick Smoke
These are not top of the line smokes but if you don't have time for a larger cigar then these are the ticket. A good mild cigar that doesn't break the bank and doesn't take up much time to enjoy.

Decent for the money.
Construction is a little loose, but the flavor is rich.

Nice cigar
These quorum cigars were a nice change. One can find a bit of flavor, decent construction, at a good price. All too often, most of us trade price for flavor to keep our humidors filled so getting more for our dollars is always welcome. Based on my experience I think most folks will agree these are a good value and stand out from other cigars of the same pricing.

I received these cigars in record time, got a smokin' deal, and LOVE these cigars ! These are my "go to" cheap smokes when just another day, and where I saves the specials ones for special occasions, however these are truly every bit as good a smoke as a lot of higher dollar sticks !

A long, satisfying smoke
Since I've started smoking the Churchills made by Quorum, I have been very satisfied with the aroma, long smoking time! The very economical price that Cigars International is asking, only adds to the total enjoyment. CI's prices for cigars are the best I have ever seen!

J C Newman is the Best
Fine smoke; VERY well put together. I'd put it up there with the 8-5-8, though I expected a little more sweetness from the wrapper. Much better out of the cellophane in the humidor for a few days. Relights well when I have to leave the truck for something. (I carry a stainless sash tray; no fires from this ol' boy. Old Gatorade bottle with water for nubs.) Like the Fuente 8-5-8, a little bit of a "dull" smoke -- but pleasant and consistent. Will keep some around, but still prefer Newman's Dominican '59 sweets. When a scratch-off comes through, I order a five-pack of Brick House or Black Pearl! Newman Guys (no matter which country they're rolling in) sure know what they're doing.

Customer service great
The customer service is great at CI. This is my first bundle of quorum robusto Maduro. I was not impressed. I always get the regular quorum robusto and am very satisfied. The robusto maduros were coming undone as I came to the end and took off the band. The wrapper seemed very thin due to holes found in many spots on many cigars and it was not from the bugs. When I tried to punch a hole it would tear off the cap. I should have called when I tried to punch the first one and just swapped out the entire bundle. CI gave me a $10 gift card for the trouble. All in all CI is great and I would never go anywhere else, great bargain on everything.

New Cigar Smoker - Loved My Purchase
I took some time to read reviews before making the decision on what would become the everyday cigar I used to keep my humidor stocked. The reviews for Quorums were very positive and that helped me make them as my selection. I was very impressed with them. Being a new cigar smoker they are very smooth and pair well with any bourbon or whisky. The transaction through Cigars International was also great. It was a quick and simple ordering process, my order arrived on the day it was supposed to and my shipment was in perfect condition securely packaged to avoid damage. I'm a repeat customer for years to come.

Great underrated smoke
You wouldn't think much by seeing it at first. Doesn't have a catchy name or fancy ring but let me tell you, I've had those cigars and quorum has nothing to be ashamed of. It can stand and hold its own. Great smoke from beginning to end and great aroma. Every time i smoke it I get complements and when i give them away, people go nuts after they've had it. Oh and did i mentioned the great price? You can't go wrong.

Perfect for an everyday short smoke
I ordered these to smoke while playing a game of Yahtze with my wife each evening. The short smoke lasts just long enough with no waste. An everyday flavor profile, but , not harsh with some complexity. Priced right, for me, and I would probably try a larger size.

Quorum Robusto
Have smoked Quorum cigars as a everyday cigar for at least three years. For the price I did not expect a quality smoke, but they were OK. I have noticed the last six months or longer the quality is declining. The wrappers are extremley thin and fall apart. The fillers are woody with a lot of stems. The draw is tight and hard to keep lit. Not all in each bundle is bad but more bad smokes than good is becoming the norm. In the future I will not be purchasing these anymore. A inexpensive everyday cigar is not of value if they are not smokable and waste your time and money.

Great cigar for your buck!
The quorum double Gordo I think is the greatest cigar for its price. I smoke five cigars a day and never disappointed. They always have a great draw and a smooth rich flavor that grabs your tastes buds and keeps you wanting more, and they always taste great with a Pabst blue ribbon.

OK, but not the best bang for the buck
A decent mixed-filler cigar, it smokes faster than a long-filler of the same size. It's also more expensive than some long-fillers of good quality. Casa de Garcia shouldn't lose any business to these.

Holy Grail of Budget Cigars
I have been smoking the Classic and Shade for quite some time now so when I found out a Maduro was on the way from JC Newman I was ecstatic. When I received my bundle I was not disappointed. This cigar outperforms some I have smoked at 2 and 3 times the price. In my world Quorum is the Holy Grail of budget cigars. This stick is well constructed from cap to foot. Each stick gives you that smooth semi-sweet Maduro flavor those of us not afraid of the dark know and love. Job Well Done.

A Fine Daily Cigar
I never could afford a $10 dollar cigar every day. It's been only on birthdays and Christmas that friends and family give me a few of the great name brands that cost $10-15 dollars a stick. There is something to the old adage "you get what you pay for" and I see why the better smokes cost more. Quorum Shade Grown Churchills and Torpedos have become my favorite daily cigar. I only smoke one or two a day and I find these cigars to have a good draw, and fine medium taste. It's a good enjoyable smoke, burns evenly like higher quality cigars and you'll appreciate the low cost. I highly recommend this cigar for those who enjoy the more expensive cigars but can't burn up that kind of money.

Good every day smoke with no frills...
This is a good mildish to a low medium smoke with mostly tobacco base for flavors with some woodsy flavor. They tend to burn well, not to fast, hold a good inch of ash at a time that comes off in solid chunks. The construction is for the most part pretty solid, however you will want to be careful sliding these out of the cello because the bands tend to stick and slide on the stick which can damage the wrapper. You need to crinkle the cello a bit to loosen it up to prevent this. Overall, a nice every day type smoke for a good price without any complexity. Just a good old average flavor cigar, no fancy transitions.

A Fine Every Day Cigar
I've been smoking Quorum Shade Grown Torpedos and Churchills for some time now. They have a good draw from the start - I have yet to have one packed too tight. The wrapper contruction quality is good and the flavor is almost equal to a Rocky Patel Edge or Torano Exodus 1959, two of my favorites from the Cigar Shop. For a very reasonably priced everyday smoke, where you may have more than one a day, Quorum is a great choice.

Customer Testimonials
Great tasting mild cigar. Awesome price also.
Love them! Highly recommend for your everyday smoke. Great flavor, good burn, good draw, always a consistent dependable smoke for me. Great cigar!
One of the smoothest smokes so far. Although I am new to this, this stick was extremely smooth, and creamy. This will be on my list from now on.
I find these cigars very pleasing for the price and just received an order containing another bundle of 20. I'll always find room in my humidor for these cigars.
In my book the best quality vs price cigar out there bar none, I have smoked the classic Quorum for years with a Shade mixed in every now and again for good measure. You simply can't find another cigar at this price point (I buy the corona size) with construction and smokeability this good. Frankly I still can't figure out how JC Newman does it. Buy the Shades if you prefer a milder flavored/bodied stick or the Classic if you like a little more umph. Neither one will disappoint for money spent.
This is one of the more impressive sub $25.00 bundles I've ever had. They're not super exquisite in the taste dept, but they're not bad either. They're fairly medium bodied and they always burn perfect. However, the thing that impresses me most about Quorum is the construction. Nice looking wrapper and they're a bit squared off on the end/foot. If you have to go below $29.99 and want a reliable handmade, then buy these.
I am new to cigars and Quorum was recommended to me by a cigar store owner. I purchased a bundle of 20 (5.5" x 43) for $22.99 + shipping $5.99 and they arrived 4 days later in good shape. I put them in my homemade humidor (which ranges from 65% to 70% humidity and 70 degrees) for a couple of weeks. Just enjoyed the first one this weekend and it was relaxing. The flavors were nice and burned evenly and lasted about 30 minutes. I will order from CI again and may come back to the Quorum again after trying some others.
I usually buy these Quorum cigars at the shop I go to for 2.99 a stick and I got 20 here for only 30.00. That is just about half price, except for the shipping cost. I have no complaints about this deal.
Cheap, straight fwd, hands down one of the best bargain quickies in the negative weather; too cold for gordos! Def fav cheap guy and nice handout without looking like a cheap bastid :)
High quality and great flavor without the high cost per stick. A great choice and great value for an everyday smoke.
The Quorum Corona is a wonderful cigar. I found them in a cigar store in Delaware and liked them so much I started ordering them from CI. They're not strong, stay lit, have a pleasant taste and you just can't beat the price. I gave a pack to a good buddy, and he raved about them. Give them a try I don't believe you'll be disappointed.
I just wonder how many people give bad reviews to cigars and know nothing about humidors and types of tobaccos. Quorum cigars have Ecuadorian wrappers, Nicaraguan binders and fillers. If you are a fan of this 3 way tobacco mixture, and humidify these cigars correctly, you are foolish to spend more money on a cigar with a fancy band and name! These are 4.5 out of 5 in my book.
Excellent basic smoke! Good smoking; never disappointed!
I have smoked two bundles of 20 Quorum Robusto & was not pleased with them. I found them to be hard on the draw & not burn evenly. Also they were sold as mild/medium but they seemed to be stronger than advertized & felt very hot to the fingers while smoking. I will definately select a diferent cigar from now on.
5 stars for the Quorum Shade. A good Toro size smoke. I prefer my cigars mild and this hits the spot. Also the perfect size to enjoy on a lunch break at work. Discovered these at Total Wines and have been a fan since.
Great smoke. Very mild but tasty.
I know there is a medium and a mild in the Quorums, I happen to prefer the mild. Unfortunately, there is no real differentiation as to which is the light wrapper mild and the dark, more robust blend. Other than the 50/50 chance of getting the right one, the order was fine and cigars of exceptional quality. Now I just have to remember, I think, that the shade grown is more mild.
Delicious smoke but are not long fillers.
Picked one up at a local shop to see what the fuss is about. Honestly, I'm still not sure. There's nothing particularly special about them, though there isn't anything offensive either. I picked up the torpedo and v - cut it. I felt the draw was a bit tight, and it didn't produce as much smoke as I had hoped. Flavor is run-of-the-mill, burn was even enough (I would give these another shot since I match lit this one), and it dropped ash 3 times, each time about 2" fell. My wife commented that the smoke was a little offensive, unlike other sticks I've smoked. All in all, for the price it wasn't bad, but for me it probably isn't my every day smoke.
I have smoked about 20 of these cigars and I will give my honest opinion. Very good price, has medium flavor and is very smooth. Burn uneven but it will correct itself. In the third half flavors pick up and more spice comes in. Very spicy in the retrohale. Give it a week in the humidor after you buy them. Packing is a little loose but it has good and enjoyable flavors.
A tasty cheap smoke. Placing my next order now!
My daily stick. Ran into these by accident & glad I did. My humi is never holding less than a bundle of each (torpedo shade & natural). The absolute best buy for the cash. Great stick for garage/yard work & best handouts around. No need to be embarrassed passing them out & the $ makes you feel like Santa.
Nice smoke. Good value. I enjoy a mild to medium smoke and this is a really good choice. A bit light on the draw with the corona. I keep them a more humid than other sticks, to help the wrap stay intact. Occasionally a wrapper will fail, but for the price I can overlook that. I'll buy more as an everyday smoke.
Excellent everyday smoke. Nice mild cigar. Robust flavor. Excellent price.
Smoked my first one, a Toro. Not too bad, burned a little uneven at first, at 2/3 done it had issues staying lit.
Not bad...not bad at all, in fact - pretty tasty.
This is one of my favorite cigars. It's a shame that there name is not prevalent. I bought them thinking they'd just be a cheap cigar, but I had to give them a try. I was very impressed to say the least. I will continue to buy these over and over again. Definitely give them a try.
Ran into these at a Duty Free in Canada and was pleasantly surprised. Smooth smoke for a couple of bucks, had to buy more to have on hand.
Nice mild smoke for the price.
This is a fantastic cigar for the money. The Corona is great for the ride home after a long day at work.
Negative 5 stars. These cigars are poorly rolled and fall apart as they are smoked. What was left on the floor ended up in these. I guess you get what you pay for.
My wife and I were in Barbados about 6 weeks ago. I bought Royal Barbados ($10 a stick) and then, at another venue, my wife bought me some expensive cigars; as appreciation, the clerk tossed in a Quorum Robusto. Tonight, I finally got around to smoking it. It was a very consistent smoke from beginning to end. It dropped ash twice, and it had an inch plus ash on it when I finished it--about an inch and a quarter from the end. The burn was even, and I never had to do touch up lights. It is flavorful. I do not have a discerning palate, but the woodsy smoke was unmistakable and lasted throughout the smoke. I tasted spice, rather a white pepper sort of finish. The draw was good throughout and produced a decent volume of smoke. I smoke Alec Bradley American Classic Torpedo ($5 per stick). At that price, I can't smoke many. I can get 4 Quorum for 1 Alec Bradley. The Quorum is not as good a smoke, of course. There was a hint of harshness at times which is never there with AB. But for the price?! Where has this cigar been all of my life? For the money, this is a GREAT cigar. Try it; you'll like it.
Great value and a very nice finish!
Not overly impressed.
I thought the smoke was dry, the wrapper did fail, but the binder seemed to hold. over all, I think there is a better cigar out there for the price, this wouldn't be my first choice for a few dollars, however it is difficult to beat the price...
Back in May of 2009 I wrote to implore CI to take on this brand and I am pleased to see that they took me up on it. Quorum cigars won't win any fancy pageant but they will give you a good cigar at a great price. Well made by the folks at JC Newman and one of the best bundles out there still today.
I was pleasantly surprised by these cigars. Most of the cigars I've been buying from my local shop have been in the $8-$15 range per stick (Casa Fernandez, Pardron 1964, Montecristo Epic), but I picked up a couple of these when I was looking for a cheap smoke to carry around in my pocket. I wasn't expecting much, but the burn was reasonably even, the flavor was good, although not amazing, and there was a fairly huge volume of dense smoke for a cheap-o corona size. All together, they're a very decent walkin-around cigar. I had no idea until a few minutes ago that CI carried them, and at about 1/4 the price per stick of the local tobacco shop. As soon as I get my new humi set up I'll be buying a bundle or two of these to keep for my pocket case and for when the guys come over.
I love the mild flavor of the Quorum, and the Robusto is is just the right size for a short smoke break.
Great cigar! Nice, easy draw and mild/med.... always fresh from CI.
Have smoked Quorum for a while now. Generally good. I like corona better that robusto or larger....
....Tried my very first non-Cubans, Quorum Corona being one of them. Great value indeed as mentioned by other reviewers. To me it is a very generous cigar in every aspect. Smooth, tasty and satisfying with mild and mellow character. Notes of leather throughout and getting just a bit spicy and notes of coffee towards the end. Thanks, again, to CI’s staff for their great care. HG of Tehran, Iran to be exact!
Quorum is by far one of the better every day cigar that is easy on the wallet. With Corona size some issues with the wrapper cracking towards the end with a few sticks here and there. Went with the Toro size and had not had that issue so far. I would say try these bad boys out and if you get an issue with some of the smaller sizes give the larger size a try and you will be in for a real good treat.
A tasty smoke.....
The pre-light taste and smell of this stick was impressive, with a great leathery smell and a hint of spice on the lips. Also it came with a cool gold and purple band displaying the Quorum Logo. The first third of this cigar had a mild to medium body flavor holding onto that spicy leathery taste, while continuing to burn even and razor sharp. Ash held very well throughout averaging about 1-1/2” before falling. Before finishing the second third, the taste started transitioning to more of a woody to leathery note but the draw and smoke were holding strong. The last third continued with that woody taste losing any hint of sweetness that was around at one point. I was able to finish this cigar without any need of a touch up light. I let it die out with about an inch and a half left giving me a little more than an hour of enjoyable smoke. Get this one, it's worth it.
First off I have to say I paired this stick like any every day cigar with a domestic draft beer hanging with the guys in the bar scene. Not exactly my first choice of beer or my first choice in a cigar. But I did look at this cigar as something you could light up when out partying and having a good time with friends. The Quorum of choice was a cigar that falls in a great price range of the everyday smoker and constructed with a Nicaraguan binder and filler wrapped in an Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper, the Quorum 4. The pre-light taste and smell of this stick was impressive with a cool gold and purple band displaying the Quorum Logo with a great leathery smell with a hint of spice on the lips. I clipped the cap with a standard guillotine cutter and did the initial light. This cigar came out of the “shoot” burning and drawing like a champ with hints of a spicy woody flavor and great smoke. The first third of this cigar had a mild to medium body flavor holding onto that spicy leathery taste while continuing to burn even and razor sharp. Before moving into the second third hints of nutty and sweet flavors were beginning to come out. Ash held very well throughout averaging about 1-1/2” before falling. Before finishing the second third the taste started transitioning to more of a woody to leathery note but the draw and smoke were holding strong. The last third continued with that woody taste losing any hint of sweetness that was around at one point in the final part of the first third. I was able to finish this cigar without any need of a touch up light before I let it die out with about an inch and a half left giving me a little more than an hour of enjoyable smoke. Overall I believe this is a great cigar for everyday or one that you could count on during a party night that will have a consistent burn, not move from good to really bad toward the end and; if you’re Buds want to smoke one of yours it won’t break the bank...."Enjoy the Smoke"
2003 I started smoking cigars, started with machine mades then grew up. Bought my first Quorum at a cigar store, mainly for price. Ten years later still smoking Quorums, have 6 humidors, one is just for Quorums. Enjoy most cigars, CAO, 5Vegas, Rocky, Cohiba, but still like the flavor and consistency of Quorums. Little side note, was walking down Fremont Street in Vegas one night smoking a Quorum, had somebody tap me on the shoulder. He wanted to know what cigar it was because it smelled so good. Told him, gave him the band so he knows and sent him to the cigar store I know that carries them. If that doesn't tell how good a Qurum is nothing will.
Good smoke for the Price! A bit loose wrap, but smoke very even. Great every day cigar.
I picked up 5 of these sticks when I was on vacation and had forgotten the cigars that I had laid out to bring with me. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on cigars that I had not read about or tried. I bought them because they were only $2.75/stick. I was very surprised and pleased with the quality and most of all the mildness and taste of these cigars. I think I have definitely found my new everyday smokes. Very nice for the newbie or the seasoned smoker that likes mild to medium and wants all the flavor that the more expensive cigars gives you. Try them.... I think you'll agree.
Bought the Corona size and tried one right out of the box. Nice draw, a little loose on the packaging, quite a lot of favor, great value! Thx CI. Mark
5 Stars. Consistent, well-made cigars. These are sold at the PX and I've smoked literally hundreds of Quorum cigars. If you want to keep $ in your wallet yet be pleased with your cigar, you can't go wrong with these. Cigars International has the best prices around, the best shipping around, but they need to rework their spelling of "Quorum". :)
