“A toasty, satisfying smoke.
I am a huge fan of the Nestor Miranda special selections. Nestor's coffee break Rosado is a top ten in my personal humidor. I purchased Nestor's Holguin version, based solely on my experience with other Nestor and Don Pepin cigars, and was not disappointed. It's funny, the first stick didn't leave much of an impression, but subsequent smokes have given me a great experience. A pleasing, toasty, bready, medium complex cigar. For the price, it's well worth a try.”
“It wasn’t that bad, however have in mind, it is a very spicy cigar.
“A good cigar for the price. Well constructed, good ash, notes of leather and pepper. More full than medium. Good to the nub, finishing better than it started. A-ok.”
“Not a fan at all. I was curious to try this out, but wish I would have spent the money on another cigar. Draw was consistent, but the flavors were mild to not there at all. Even for a cheap cigar this was a disappointment, there are better cheap ones out there.”
“Excellent everyday smoke. Medium bodied with a little spice, dark cherry and earthy notes. Very enjoyable.”
“Not bad - just not good enough to warrant a second chance. Part of a sampler that I purchased from CI. There are way too many other stogies in this price range that are far more enjoyable. Pass on this one.”
“much darker wrapper than pictured, had to check web site to see if I got oscuro, still good right out of mail box”
“I happen to be a fan of Nestor Miranda. This Holguin is a decent everyday smoke.”
