“Do you guys really not know who Ron Mexico is? You can google it, or better yet offer one to a particular quarterback....”
“Ha! Best cigar band of all time.”
“It is an established taste-testing FACT that a one-year-aged RON MEXICO Churchill is as good as any OPUS X!!! My bundle has 5 months to go! Imagine, 20 OPUS X Knock-offs at $1 each.
ONLY FROM CIGAR INTERNATIONAL!”
“not bad for a cheap cigar”
“I got this cigar in a sampler with a bunch of other no name churchills and for an every day smoke it isnt bad at all. I usually smoke this one when im drunk with friends because I dont wanna waste a really good stogie on a night that I wont remember lol..Decent flavor and a good burn, its an everyday cheapie smoke for sure”
“Upon receiving these cigars I was not surprised on the horrible taste and that they fell apart upon lighting. But now after 3 months in a humidor they are not bad at all and on par with any 4-5 buck smoke.”
“I was intrigued by the writeups for all of the unsmokeables. In this case, too much work for no payoff. If I'm going to expend energy drawing, I at least want to feel like I'm doing more than drawing slightly heated air... The buck a pop I can live with...”
“I am going to let you in on a little secret. Buy This "Ron Mexico" $20, (or any $20 bundle) and put it inside a desktop humidor for 5-6 months. In addition I would suggest buying a pouch of Captain Black pipe tobacco ($5) opening it and setting it inside of the humidor along with the $20 of cigars. After about 6 months the humidor along with the delicious pipe tobacco give the once $1 cigar the taste of an $8 cigar. Try it. I actually did it by accident. There was a Ron Mexico cigar left over from my po Boy II sampler. The one I smoked 6 months ago was as expected, but now like I said it has a nicer hit being partially aged and flavored.”
“I had this cigar first as part of the "Po Boy Sampler#2" and thought that it was pretty good. I then found that I could order them in a 20 pack for $19.99. Always a consistent smoke. I am 1/4 of the way through my third 20 pack and finally had a few that were very peppery and one that fell apart. Still I will buy them again. For $1 they are still a bargain. I just figure I got a bad 20 pack.”
“I have bought the 40 cigar sampler which included these several times, and always thought that they were a far better cigar than their brothers which were included in the sampler. Mild and smooth, with a nice burn. This time, I decided to order a bundle of just these instead of fishing through samplers trying to find something worthwhile.”
“Allow me to add my (limited) kudos for this el cheap-o. The ones I've had from the Po' Boy are actually not unpleasant and significantly better made than most of the others on offer in that bountiful blend of smoking weirdness. As an everyday cigar it's not bad at all.”
“As comfortable as a well worn pair of Khakis. One of my "standby's." Highly recommended”
“Michael Vick's nickname is Ron Mexico!”
“While the Ron Mexico might not be on par with the $10 cigars, it's certainly better than some of the $3 and $4 stogies I've bought in the past. I'm setting a few aside in the humidor to see if it will really change their flavor over time.”
