“This review is for the No. 3 Aniversario Tubos. Are they any good? In a word, yes. Are they worth the price? No. A good 10 dollar stick will give these a serious run for their money. There was a time in the 1990's that these were worth any price they charged. Simply an exquisite experience....and I mean "experience". Don't know what happened. They're still a fine smoke, but for 25 dollars? They can't live up to the hype anymore. I've given them a number of opportunities, but short of being gifted one, I'll pass. They simply have lost the depth and complexity that fine properly aged tobacco should give you for that kind of cash outlay. A shame really...they're living off their folklore. A very fine 10 dollar smoke for 25 dollars. Your call. But Padron Family Reserve No. 45 for the same dollar outlay will show you what you should receive for this kind of money.”

“I unfortunately have to agree with JC. This brand has rapidly declined over the years. These used to be the cream of the crop. Now they are just the crop. In the early to mid 90's I kept at least a box in one of my humi's at all times. Times change and I am no longer willing to pay for the name while falling flat on the experience. It is a shame. I too will only accept these as a gift hence forth. Far too many $10-15 smokes out there that are far superior. I will still throw in the normal "thanks for the low prices CI" for the rest of my collection. JH ”
