Brick house is one of those brands I don't mind paying B&M prices for, They run around 5.99, which aint bad if i am out and about and short on smokes, 4 bucks on CI is insane, I really like the spice on this smoke, It's medium full without a doubt, but the flavor is unique, a lot of complexity too, nutty flavors with toast and coffee, but the spice is perfect, not too much, but plenty enough to tingle the pallet and nose. not boring at all. I highly enjoy these, cashews was the nut I was thinking off smoking these.
For the most part, this is a real tasty cigar. Some are noticeably blander than others I've tried, even bought out of the same dang box ! I've gotten a couple or three that are rather tough on the draw. I'm buying the large churchill size units, maybe I'll experiment with other sizes to see if consistency issues prevail there too ! ! !
My friend and I picked up a couple of these while walking around the strip in Las Vegas. We decided to enjoy these cigars inside of Casa Fuente at Caesars Palace. I really liked the subtle sweetness, it mixed well with the earthy/wood flavors. The price we paid was $7.99 each, which wasn't too bad for Vegas. I would buy these again, but this time only from Cigars International
A friend and I were recently in Las Vegas and we stopped by a local cigar store and picked up two BrickHouse toro's to smoke, then we ended up at Casa Fuente in Caesars Palace. We them lit up and enjoyed 1 hour and 15 minutes of a very nice cigar. I noticed some spice(pepper) up front during the draw, but it was smooth and had a slight sweetness to it on the exhale. It was money well spent. I would buy these again
One of the best values out there right now. I've enjoyed them before they came up on here. CI has them at a good price.
I don't normally do reviews. In fact, this would be my first. Like many I've been smoking for over a decade and like many more I have been buying from CI for many of them; but this is the first review i've ever been compelled enough to post just for scale. I paired this cigar in the corona larga size with the Ardbeg 10 on a musky drizzly night and it was outstanding as far as to claim my favorite cigar experience to date. I'm not a major fan of rating and accolades but a top 25 cigar and a 3 time champ of the scotch world combine for what proved to be an incredably satisfying experience for me. right from the get go the first draw was perfectly even, not too loose not too tough and just bursting with flavor of toasty spice. then the scotch which salted the spice and balanced it perfectly, the toasty-ness paired exceptionally with the peaty-ness of the Islay's nature. midway through I swear I felt so relaxed as the overall combination (which I feel would have been sufficient on it's own for those who don't drink) leveled out for most of the remainder of the 55 minutes as warm, woody, salted cashew base with a pleasantly damp ocean breeze carry through the long finish on the pallet. turn up some donavon frankenreiter, cas haley, jack johnson or the likes and visit where I've been. just great.
I tried these cigars and liked the smooth taste. They are not a quick cigar to smoke, but if you have the time sit down and enjoy them, they are worth it.
Very seldom do I shop at a Cigar Bar, but it's a nice change just stopping in a couple of times a year. CI is so low on it's prices that other places just can't keep pace. However, there are certain cigars offered in some of the shops, that you can't find on the CI web site. Yesterday I went by the local cigar bar, and purchased several cigars including a Brick House. Being very honest, I felt a bit of depression when I had to put this great smoke to an end. I'm not going to try and keep up with those who can come up with all of these flavors that hit your palate. The best thing I can tell you is that is a damn good cigar, more medium than full. There is a spice to the smoke that creates a wonderful flavor, and ends on a slight sweet note. I really didn't experience any black pepper, which if fine with me since I don't care for it. This is a huge statement, but the pleasure I found was in the same ball park as an AVO. It is well worth the money to try these out.
I think the Brick House is the best bang for your buck out there. Not complex at all but A real enjoyable smoke
easy draw...not too peppery...consistent throughout...burned even to the end. quality everyday smoke.
I picked up a Brickhouse Maduro at a local cigar retail store on a whim while getting some decent smokes for my grandfather (he smokes Swishers) for his birthday. This black beauty caught my eye. It was the only box in their walk-in humidor of this brand. I paid 5.50 for it, little steeper than I'm used to but I figured why not. Gotta say I am very impressed. Strong and spicy but not over-bearing. Went well with my Sumatra cup of coffee while sitting on the porch. Would like to see CI sell the maduro as well but I can't imagine the habano's being any less of a cigar. Will definitely be picking up some more of these.
I'd been enjoying these for some weeks now as my daily home from work cigar. Flavorful, consistent, hour long stick that is satisfying & an experience. Was buying them onesey-twosies.... for $5 but a box from CI bests that by almost $1 a stick. As always, CI's service & shipping were exceptional. Thanks guys!
Easy to light. Above average construction and burn. Excellent draw. Heavy smoke output with a very mild aroma. Very cool burn. Medium smoke thickness on palate. Mild to medium strength and solid medium flavor profile. Heavy caramel and sweet hay with mild coffee and cream flavors in background. Despite description, no pepper/spice flavor or bite. Very relaxed cigar and consistent from beginning to end.
Smoked The Short Torpedo Mild To Medium-Bodied, Sweet Cream, And Tea Flavor. An Excellent Cigar, Now That You Have Them In Stock I'm Going To Get My ISSUE. :)
Having smoked a great deal of different cigar brands. Ones that are top shelf including some Cubans. The Brick House is a must try cigar for any type of cigar smoker. I'm smoking the 7X50 & it's well over an hour or more of pleasure. Loaded with flavor that will leave you wanting to smoke it all over again.
Yes, she's a brick house, indeed! Smooth and it fits the description. I'm playing the Commodore's "Brickhouse" in the background.
Such a good cigar! I recently bought these for a friend as a present for his bachelor party. Enjoyed the churchill size. These hit you in the face! Love the pepper and the spice in these. Great smoke output. Give you a nice buzz at the end. Great cigar to enjoy with friends! The only thing missing was a good whiskey!
BEST CIGAR FOR THE PRICE THAT I HAVE EVER SMOKED - BAR NONE - BRICK HOUSE IS THE NEW SMOKING MAN'S STAPLE - EVERY HUMIDOR SHOULD HAVE THEM - EVERYONE IS ALWAYS IMPRESSED THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD. MAY HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER HUMIDOR JUST TO HOUSE THESE BEAUTIES SO THEY CAN AGE TO PERFECTION - NOT THAT THEY ARE NOT ALREADY CLOSE AS THEY COME! ;-)
The Newman family has a winner here. Tasty, EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE & an all in all treat to the palate.
I received 5 in a sampler. The first was fantastic...a nutty flavor. The next few were nondescript, probably because I was chain smoking my latest order. I am hoping to catch a sale, and try these again.
The first cigar named correctly, as the song goes, they are a brickhouse! Mighty Mighty! They are a medium cigar that delivers on flavor, smoke, and consistancy all the way to the end. I first found them at my local cigar shop, the sales guy said they used to be around a long time ago and are just now coming back. Man am I glad they are back! Now more and more stores are carrying them, and even the local Air Force Base Class VI store carries them!
As I prefer mild cigars, I was skeptical, but knowing the Brick House reputation, I thought I'd give it a try. What a pleasant smoke! I don't know what I enjoyed more; the taste or the aroma. I was shocked when I learned it is rated as a medium to full taste. I equated the "full" description to mean strong or harsh. It was neither, but very smooth and satisfying. A must try and definitely deserving of the 92+ CA rating.
Best bang for the buck!
One of the best cigars I've ever had. And that's at 5 bucks a pop. Literally the best deal on this website! So get yourself a box, you deserve it. <3
I can't say anything positive nor negative, just neutral. Flavor was one note, but it's there. Burn and construction are good for this price point, but I'd reach for a G2 at $4 over this any day. I'm glad I tried this, but not a cigar I'd purchase again.
I bought a 5 pack of these to see what all the hoopla was about. When lighting it, I noticed that the wrapper is very toothy and the smoke is mellow and like a heavy cream. As it continued, a lighter cream came through with notes of white pepper. I would say this is more on the medium side of the medium-full. Great for the price!
Brick House Mighty Mighty have become one of my favorite smokes. Draw is flawless, ash sticks longer than any cigar I have smoked, and tasty as ever. Just ordered second five pack and salivary glands are already excited.
Love my Brick house!!
Currently my favorite smoke. You can't beat the price of this cigar for the quality your receive. Well constructed with a smooth even burn. The taste was quit a surprise, but a great surprise. If you have any interest in trying one of these for your self, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.
Great smoke, love these cigars
