holy crap.. alec bradley connecticut! awesome smoke man. black cherry, cedar, cream, vanilla, carmel, spice, earth... it's super complex and lots of body for a connecticut. I will definitely be buying more of these, I smoked one from my cigar fest stash.
I am a casual cigar smoker(BBQ'g and Golfing), Mild-Med are my mainstays. Bought one of these to try, WOW, what an awesome cigar. Great complex flavor, but stays in the Med. range strength wise. Enjoyed sitting on the deck having a good beer with a great cigar. All I can say is if you enjoy a good cigar that billows with plenty of delicious thick smoke, give the Alec Bradley Connecticut a go, you won't be sorry.
I've tried many Connecticuts (Camacho, CLE, Padilla, Oliva, RP, Perdomo, etc.) and this one blows them all away. Perfectly flawless wrappers, excellent construction, perfect draw and burn every time. The flavor is very complex with earth, spice, wood, and cream. I have been buying these up like crazy don't plan on stopping. By far my favorite every day affordable smoke. Pure bliss.
I see from a previous review of Alec Bradley Connecticut, that I am not the only AB fan in the sleepy little city of Loveland, Ohio. What can I say, that I haven't already pontificated over & over about Alec Bradley? This is AB's mildest offering to date, yet it is loaded with the same complexity we have come to associate with nearly every stick that comes from this superior manufacturer. Creamy smooth, notes of raisin & rum soaked oak intermingle with spices & a pleasantly mild pepper undertone. More than the usual Connecticut exercise in boredom, this one is a keeper for mild or medium bodied lovers everywhere. Delicious down to the tiniest nub, try a fiver & see if you don't agree. Alec Bradley is the measuring stick for high quality blends that garner 90+ ratings, like poo piles draw flies. This is just one more example. 90/100 Muy Bueno!
WOW! Dittos to all the other reviews. This is now my go-to Connecticut. Complex, no boredom here, but still on the mild side. Excellent summer cigar.
You can count on one hand the number of different Connecticut wrapped cigars in my humidors at any one time. Even scarcer, are those that actually make it into some sort of rotation. Sancho Panza is one that is always there, always welcome. Alec Bradley's Connecticut is another that I seek out to stock & enjoy smoking on at least a semi-regular basis. In typical Alan Rubin fashion, ABC is flawlessly constructed, loaded with flavor/complexity not often found in Connecticut wrapped offerings & is really rather affordable. Given that it can often be found on sale or as a part of a sampler at a discounted price, I secure toros for half the normal cost, which makes this stunningly beautiful stogie highly affordable. With coffe, as a light Summer smoke or even with an adult beverage, ABC delivers mild/medium spice & an addictive flavor profile that will have you begging for more. Even a diehard fullhead like myself can appreciate the meticulous work & incredible taste of Alec Bradley's mildest concoction. Grab a five pack & see if you don't agree.
