Question & Answer....

05/23/2013 what do the numbers mean on cigars.....like 6.5 x50

by JC of STATEN ISLAND, NY
A: The first number (6.5") is the cigar's length. The second number (50) is the cigar's ring guage (diameter). The ring guage is measured in 1/64th of an inch. So a 64 ring would be 1 inch in diameter.

06/06/2013 Is the "significant aging" description (3rd sentence, 2nd paragraph) referencing a post-roll aging? If so, for how long? Thanks.

by LC of ATLANTIC BEACH, FL
A: Yes, it is a reference to post-roll aging. According to Oliva, they typically allow them to age for 6 months after being rolled.
