“A little taste of heaven (Macanudo Jade). Simply the best cigar I ever smoke. Try it you will love it.”
“What can I say, it's a Macanudo: the mildest of the mild. This smoke's fairly bland with a extremely short finish, and the candela wrapper gives it a touch of grassy dryness. It's uneventful, but if you're looking for an extremely mild, airy smoke that's really unobtrusive you can't beat this one. If you want noticeable tobacco flavor, go for something else.”
“I just received one of these with a sampler I purchased, let it sit in the humi for a few days & decided to give it a try. This Cigar "Macanudo Jade" (and the Cohiba Red dot) has been the two most disappointing cigars I have ever tasted from a well known label, I tossed both of these. There are better "unknown" cigars out there for $2 to $3 that are better.
The only redeeming qualities The Macanudo Jade has is a nice appearance, wonderful draw, and even burn.
If you are wanting to try a Mac I would recommend the Maduros, those are not bitter at all.”
“I been smokin' Macs for about 5 years and wanted to try the "Jade" candela. I tried the Rothchild Jades and glad I did. Just like the rest of the Macanudo line, the Jade is a great mild smoke from beginning to end. The candela wrap is a nice change of pace, clean and crisp burning even and drawing great. If you like candelas, this is well worth the extra price.”
