Rich, creamy, fantastic....
This cigar would be a real winner if it would stay lit. Good appearance and aroma from the celo. They have a great flavor, starting with a creamy cocoa flavor in the first half. Second half brings licorice. But, I had to relight each several times and had trouble with tunneling. That detracts from what would otherwise be a great smoke at the price. To me, thats a deal breaker.
Received one in a large sampler from hallowen.. First third is harsh, i had to get a glass of water. Second third is still slightly harsh, and last third is just ok. Been in humi for 2 months. Maybe i have a dud but im not experiencing anything the other reviewers or CI description states.
Easy on the wallet, the stronger side of medium approaching full body. Overall enjoyable, relaxing smoke, didn't want to put it down. When I got home done driving, I hung out outside to finish her up. Good construction, lots of smoke, easy draw. Notes of light pepper and cocoa, medium-bodied retrohale.
I received one of these in a sampler and was a litle skeptical at first. But after giving it a fair shot, it was pretty darn good! Rich, hearty and smooth it really caught me by surprise. A great handmade that right now is offered at a fair price. On my list for picking up again in the future.
Bought a box a month ago, of which I've tried two in the last week. Although both tasted fine, I found them difficult to keep lit....I mean Difficult! I mean, don't stray too far from the ashtray. I find you have to draw on the cigar too often to keep the thing lit...which starts them tunneling. I'm leaving the rest in the humidor for a while, to be tried again some time in the future!
