Named for the strain of leaf called "ligero," which is a strong and peppery type of tobacco that gives many full-bodied cigars their oomph. As you might imagine from the name, La Flor Dominicana’s Ligero series is a strong, spicy and full-bodied smoke. There are three different styles within the La Flor Dominicana Ligero brand:

Ligero: An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper envelopes an extensively aged blend of Dominican ligero tobaccos to create a peppery, full-flavored smoke.

Cabinet: Features the same powerful filler blend as the traditional Ligero, topped off with a dark, sultry Oscuro natural wrapper leaf to issue a rich, smooth flavor.
