Drew Estate Toasted Black Cavendish Sale

Toasted Black Cavendish combines a healthy assortment of Golden African Virginia, Burley, and Black Cavendish tobaccos. The real simmer to the sauce is the vanilla and chocolate flavoring, creating a tame yet highly aromatic experience. Tasty through and through, this will be loved by many.

One of my favorites.
Smooth, sweet, toasted taste. One of the rare aromatics that allow the natural taste of tobacco to shine. I have already ordered 3 more.

It's a winner.
Great tasting smoke. There's no one single flavor that overpowers the tobacco. Burns even and clean all the way down to the bottom of the bowl. It's on the medium range of Med/Mild. Great for my drive in to work in the morning.

Ok Smoke
The aroma is very pleasent, however I was not pleased with the taste as it seemed a lil much.

Wife likes the aroma
Smells fabulous when you open the can. Smoke smells good. Mild flavor. The reason for four stars is that a cigar is my first choice.
Customer Testimonials
I have mixed feelings about this tobacco. On the plus side, this has a nice aroma in the tin, good moisture content right out of the can, looks as though a ribbon cut, mostly Virginia blend. It packs very well and lights very easily on a single match. Stays lit with little effort, no bite. It does burn a bit hot (heavy on the Virginia?), but not really noticeable in my old CAO calabash. I would not want to burn this in a big-bowled briar, though. The aroma is light, the taste is subtle, mostly vanilla notes only once burning. CI gives it a 2 on the strength meter, I’d give it a 1. This is milder than any of the Peterson’s black Cavendish blends. And that brings me to the negative side. From Drew Estate I would expect more in flavor. Much more. And “Toasted Black Cavendish” just does not deliver. Any other brand and I’d accept this as a very mild Cavendish, but DE should have more bang in the flavor, just because this is DE. I like to enjoy a nice dark ale in the evening and light my pipe and contemplate the day’s events. Unfortunately my favorite Belgian ales easily overpower the taste here. BUT, if you are looking for a very mild, pleasant black Cavendish, this is a nice choice.
