“Still fairly new to the world of pipes and tobacco, but I didn't really care for this one (which came with the Dr Grabow starter kit). It seemed to be covered with a tar or resin gunk that needed to be washed off after handling. Then it would leave a pool of the resin in the bowl after use. Maybe there are many tobaccos like this, and maybe this is fairly normal, but it just seem strange to this newbie...; My wife also commented on the aroma, which wasn't flattering.”

“I liked this one though it did have a oily texture and took a bit of cleaning on the pipe after smoking. It was everything it advertised with regards to taste, it was easy to taste the caramel, vanilla with a hint of honey. I would recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth, a great morning smoke with a cup of coffee.”

“Got this as part of my starter kit and it is without doubt my favorite. Rich creamy notes of vanilla. Magnificent room note as well as right out of the tin. Very wet, and you are likely to need at least 2 more lights, likely more after the char light. If you are after an aromatic with rich, thick smoke, this is the one for you. This is my goto favorite, and better than the bork rum Riff cherry.”
