“Received the Padilla 1932 as part of the Cigar of the Month Club. After a month in my humidor, I tried it with some black coffee. Very pleasing aroma. Hints of spice and full bodied taste.”

“I find it extremely amazing how Padilla has completely lost his mind, and even more amazing how his new "creations" are given such glowing reviews. Nonsense!!! The 1932 and Miami WERE two of the best cigars for spice-loving fans like myself in the world of affordable smokes. So, of course, since they were so popular, the nut-case had to stop making them. This new 1932 is NOTHING like the old, why it was named 1932 has got to be a marketing ploy. NONSENSE !!!”

“Now, I don't know what the old 1932's smoked like, but these are quite nice. Does have a very woody character to it, hinting at cedar, with some dry nuts and mildly sweet grass that comes into play from that Habano wrapper. Those bright notes get balanced out by sporadic notes of espresso and black pepper. If you're smoking the Padilla Reserva Habanos now and want some more kick, try these out. This would be a good smoke for those who smoke the My Father MF label cigars and want something priced to smoke more everyday. Though this doesn't have the complexity of the Reserva or the MF's, it is $1-$4 cheaper per stick and is a pretty good smoke all it's own. It doesn't have a very dark and earthy profile, like most Nicaraguans, but still is full-flavored and has a great balance of strength to match. Not a lot of sweetness. Similar to a San Lotano Habano where the sweetness is not the biggest tasting point in the cigar. It smokes perfectly straight from CI (which I know is a hardcore no-no). I think you'll find anything Padilla is producing from the Oliva factory is going to be a very nice smoke, no doubt.”
