Could not stop smoking it.
I could not stop smoking it. I enjoy a full flavored, dark tobacco smoke, but Drew Estate Nica Rustica is ridiculous. I found myself walking up and down the stairs from my apartment to the street thinking I would just have one more puff and let it go out. I finished the thing. With every puff I kept thinking to myself wow, this is a superb, superb and enjoyable cigar. Wish I had bought more.

Great Strong Smoke, NOT for the faint of heart!
I've never reviewed a cigar, until now. Holy Smokes! This is a bogus cigar. I bought this guy, set it in the humidor for about a month now. I've stared at it a couple times and just decided to take it on unknowingly what I was in for. It's a very consistent strong full bodied cigar, and it doesn't weaken. As of this moment, I am half way thru the stick and I must say ...Whata GREAT smoke for sure. CB

Short Robusto
Smokers I've talked with either love 'em or hate 'em - there's certainly a line in the sand with this cigar. I'm in the former crowd not the latter. I've never had a DE infused but I'm always ready to put some fire to anything dressed in Broadleaf Maduro that hails from Nicaragua. This is a beautiful, very dark cigar with a pigtail cap and an uncut foot - very cool - definitely not something you see everyday. The NR pre-light aroma is thick & notably smoky. The uncut foot makes lighting this cigar way too easy. Instantly it's a thick, delicious, chewy smoke that the NR supplies and it remains relatively stable throughout the entirety of the burn. So the flavors don't change 5 times during the burn, but hey, it's a great tasting, full bodied cigar so why would you want it to change right? Construction & burn have always proved to be exceptional. So after multiple samples of the El Brujito I snagged a "box" (DE style) of the Short Robustos and found the quality & deep, dense flavors identically outstanding. Albeit unique, this is a great cigar. Well done Drew Estates. Nica Rustica, ... Smoke On ...

When I smoke a cigar, I want to KNOW that I'm smoking a cigar. This afternoon I was smoking another very well known premium stick and was searching hard to find the taste. Knowing that life is too short to smoke bad cigars, I set it aside and reached for a Nica Rustica. BAM! Full flavor, some strength, and boatloads of smoke. Now this, is a cigar!
