If you already like Alec Bradley and haven't tried these, what are you waiting for? This is by far my absolute favorite stick in the medium bodied category. Even a smoker of full-bodied, full-flavored cigars can appreciate the way this smoke unfolds. Not sure, yet? Get a 5-pack as part of the build your own sampler & save a few bucks.
This is perhaps my favorite cigar and definitely on my wishlist everytime I shop for more cigars. Flavor is great, smoke looks/smells good and a pleasant smoke anytime of the day.
A delicious cigar that truly fits the description. Unique in taste and I really like it. Constructed well and simple in presentation, yet the surprise is in the taste. A great cigar.
A good smoke. No surprises here. Just a nice even tasty smoke from start to finish. Well made with an outstanding burn.
5 packs are a good way to try new blends or restock old favorites, without investing too heavily. In the case of new blends, I often start with a fiver. The Alec Bradley Black Market Robusto is an example. Having sampled nearly every other AB offering & genuinely loving most of them, I had somehow managed to miss out on BM. Forking over 6 skins per stick breaks my strict rule of 5. That is, never pay more than 5 bones for any cigar! But occasionally, going over the limit is unavoidable. So I took the plunge. The 5.2" X 52 frame is loaded with a blend of tobaccos from 3 countries, sports a feisty Sumatran binder & cloaked with a dark, alluring chocolate brown wrapper grown in Nicaragua. It has the pedigree to be something special & BM does not disappoint. From a company that seems to have the medium bodied market surrounded, make room for perhaps their best medium blend. It's a treat for the senses, burns well, unlike many other highly rated AB offerings & emits gobs of flavors from cacao & caramel to black tobacco & blueberries. I find something new with each cigar I smoke. Complexity without a trace of sensory overload is AB's secret formula for success. I look for deals & samplers featuring black Market stogies. As a result, I have about 2 dozen vitolas in 3 different sizes, including the AB 90+ rated 2nds Robusto that is identical to the banded version, yet costs 50% less. The Gordo 6" X 60 is my favorite shape. Highly recommended. 92/100
