The La Perla Habana Black Pearl Morado was already a highly rated cigar (93-I believe). And the price for such a highly rated cigar was such that I bought a box of the Belicosos. Out of the box, the cigar justifies its rating. It is a smooth, consistent, mild-medium smoke. I smoke them to a nub, they're that consistent. No harsh surprises as you get to the end. I put 10 in my humidor with my other "go to" cigars and put the rest in an old humidor that my cigar inventory had outgrown. Tried one after only 1 month and it was even better. A month isn't long, so after 2 months I tried another--I'd give it a 95. I'm determined to leave the rest for several more months. But the bottom line is you could buy these at a great price, put the whole box in your humidor and enjoy them everyday. When I reach for my first cigar of the day, I usually grab one out of the humidor. I'll definitely buy another box. If I really like a cigar, consistency becomes a big thing with me. I can say the La Perla Habana Black Pearl Morado Belicoso consistently satisfies and I can always count on the long gray/white ash.
