I'd read about, but not yet tried, Gurkha. My wife just brought home one of these for me last night. I really enjoyed it. For my part, the burn was fantastic and the draw was perfectly smooth and easy. Maybe too easy; it (robusto-size) burned up in about 30 minutes. But the flavor was peppery, full, and satisfying. Not a mind-blower, but a fine cigar.
Had one of these on the Fourth of July. Awesome flavor, big punch to the mouth but it felt so good. It burned even and long with zero complications. Probably going to be purchasing a box to hold onto for company. All in all for a full flavored cigar you can't go wrong.
Picked one up on the way to NC. I let it rest in the humidor for about a month and finally lit it up. At first it was real smooth with hints of peppers, then half way through the flavors exploded, wow. The burn was uneven at that point but I chuck it to my fault. This is a must restock for my collection.
I have smoked 3 of my 5 pack and all 3 have been different. All 3 have had different draws and differing flavor profiles. The first had a smooth flavor profile while the last one I had was very "aggresive" and peppery. While none of the flavors was bad, I expect more consistency. The one thing they had in common was the uneven burn.
Got these for Christmas, have smoked four so far, this is a stout-full flavored-full bodied tasty as all heck cigar. Mine was the big hefty Churchill and it took dang near 3 hours to complete, granted, I took a break to go inside to watch some football. Draw was somewhat firm but quite allright. Burn line was more than acceptable. This is a DANDY after dinner stogie to be sure ! ! !
Love them! Got 5 in a sampler deal and fell in love. Great lil cigar..
