Meat Pie doesn’t taste like an actual meat pie, but it sure as hell is reminiscent of one. By skillfully combing a bevy of Latakia, old belt Virginias and Oriental tobaccos, an extremely English-esque profile is born. Full-bodied smoke coalesces with smoky, toasty like flavors as hints of spice and thick, creamy smoke coat the palate. If there ever was a pipe tobacco that stuck to your guts like a hearty meal, this is it.
“Was not a big fan of the smell when I opened the tin. after a few puffs I was not a fan of the taste either. Kinda has that liquid smoke taste you would put on meats.”

“I love drew estates cigars which is why I jumped at trying there pipe tobacco, so it pains me to say it but this is a terrible smoke. I purchased meat pie as part of an assorted pack of pipe tobacco and will not be purchasing it again. on the tin they describe it as pungent, more like acrid and foul the smell and taste is awful.
this has not and will not make me shy away from trying other drew estates pipe tobacco, but unless you like burning tar stay away.”

“This stuff is a great english blend and a good way to understand the flavors of latakia without an overly sweet virginia or dressing.... If you like an occasional peppery and smokey smoke or just love english blends, this is worth a try!”
