Peterson Irish Oak pipe tobacco, sounds dee-lish, right? It is, thanks to a dark, heavy-bodied portion of Cavendish combined with smooth Zimbabwean orange smoking grades and aromatic Burley from Thailand, with a touch of Louisiana Black Perique for good measure. Irish Oak pipe tobacco is patiently stored in sherry oak barrels for several years, giving this pipe tobacco both its name, and its beloved, mature aroma and rich bouquet.
Since the 1800s, the Peterson name has been a prominent fixture in luxury pipes and pipe tobacco. Charles Peterson revolutionized the pipe industry nearly 150 years ago, and the same passion and craftsmanship used then is applied to every Peterson pipe and pipe tobacco produced today. If you're going to fill your pipe, few choices are better than Peterson pipe tobacco.
This tobacco is very light in the nicotine though, the taste is good. It is not an every day smoke for me, however, I do smoke this tobacco once or twice per week. I tend to go for the stronger Peterson's Irish flake that is my every day smoke.
