Unless you’ve been holed up under a rock for the last few years, you’re no doubt very familiar with Nub – the short and stout family of Oliva-made beauties that have captivated nearly everyone in the path. Now, the next phase of Nub is here…and it’s far different than anyone would have ever imagined. But in this case, that’s a good thing. Nub will instantly widen their appeal with this new line of coffee-infused handmades appropriately dubbed Nub Café and billed as ‘The Ultimate Coffee Experience.’ 6 sizes, 3 flavors, all different coffee styles, all downright delicious. They had their doubters years ago, and I’m sure they’ll have them now. But at the end of it all, the verdict will remain the same: this new Nub is tasty.
Nub Café comes available in 3 delicious options:
Cappuccino: A golden Connecticut shade wrapper. Smooth and creamy with notes of vanilla bean and notes of cedar.
Espresso: Sumatra wrapper. Rich and flavorful with dark cacao notes and a long, semi-sweet toasty finish.
Macchiato: Rich Sumatra wrappers. Creamy and smooth with notes of milk chocolate and a clean, sweet finish.
“Great taste. But to be honest hard draw and difficult smoke. Not a typical Nub. I had a couple after I first got them and more after a few weeks in the humidor. Still not my favorite Nub. But if you like a sweet alternative and enjoy chewing on it before hand.”

“Smooth and Sweet. Easy draw and no harsh aftertaste! I enjoyed and looking for more!!”

“Nub Cafe Espresso -
Very easy to light despite dampness upon arrival. Very good construction, draw and burn for a flavored cigar. Heavy oily smoke on palate. Coats entire palate. Mild to Medium strength with intense flavors. Sweetened tip is very sweet though not an artificial type of sweetness. Flavors of dark coffee, molasses, caramel and sugar sweetness on the palate. Medium length finish of campfire wood, hay, cream and then the artificial sweetener makes its appearance. Artificial flavor intensifies in second half. Very nice blend for a flavored cigar save the artificial taste on the finish.”

“Nub Cafe Cappuccino - Very easy to light. Very good construction, draw and burn though a few touchups were needed. Thick smoke on palate and in air. Mild strength with medium to full flavors. Sweetened tip is not artificial and stays for entire smoking session. Flavors of heavy cream, mild sweet coffee and peanut. Medium finish of same flavors. While no artificial flavors, slight residue remains on tongue similar to a heavily cased pipe tobacco. Excellent room note/smell. Worth a try if flavored cigars are preferred.”

“Definitely disappointed by this cigar, as they are extremely hard to draw -- making the experience too much work to enjoy. I purchased a 5 pack and all 5 of the cigars had great aroma and were well constructed, however, all of them were like trying to siphon a golf ball using a straw...with very little smoke/burn being produced. I've seen others indicate this same issue with this line of Nubs which is truly disappointing....”
“I just had my first Nub Espresso. Great cigar. Good draw. Not overly sweet. Chewy smoke. Great draw! 8 out of 10. Maybe even a 9.”

“I had a macchiato this evening. I thought it tasted great, but it did have a tight draw. Lets face it...hand rolled cigars always run that risk. Overall, I would not hesitate to have another one.”

“Very good tasting cigar. I bought 1 for myself and 1 for my buddy. Mine was extremely hard to draw and it was either pass out from lack of oxygen or ditch the stick. My buddy said his had a good draw and we both agreed on the taste. I wouldn't recommend it due to the crap shoot of being able to smoke it.”

“Had the Macchiato and it was like smoking a Hershey bar. Great after dinner smoke, could have easily eaten the cigar instead of smoking it.”

“Hubby and I had the Nub Cappuccino Corona last night; absolutely delicious! Not too sweet, but just enough to cap off a nice meal; a nice dessert cigar!”

“Thus far I haven't met a Nub I haven't enjoyed or loved, and the Nub Cafe Espresso 4x60 is no exception. Couldn't find any singles locally to taste test, but I was able to find a sampler pack with the different flavors online. The Espresso was the first smoke of the pack. Simply aswesome!! Smelled incredible in the wrapper, was even better to smoke! Great ash, nice white smoke, smooth all the way through. Burn was uneven, but it could have been the way I lit the stick. Enjoyed the sweet tip. I would have smoked this thing down to my fingers if I didn't get rained out. Another winner from Nub!!!”

“First let me make a clarification to some of these negative reviews. If your cigar is hard to draw and/or having burning issues then chances are it is too moist. Let your cigar sit outside your humidor a few days and try again. Now, I have tried all three flavors and I am very impressed. I did get one box that was bit too moist so they had to sit on the sideline a bit, but they are great draws now. If you like a flavored and coffee infused cigar then you can NOT go wrong with these. I am also very impressed at how long they last too.”
