Fit for a King.
Consistently ranked among the elite, the 97-rated Padron 1926 was created in celebration of Jose Padron’s 75th birthday. This five to ten-year tobacco blend demands recognition with a full bodied-flavor that’s smooth, complex, and damn hard to resist. Whether you’re looking forward to a milestone birthday, or just anticipating another night loungin' with your feet up, it’s always a good time for a Padron 1926. Often envied but never replicated, the Padron 1926 is about as close to perfect as you’re going to get. Pricey, but well worth it.
Padron 1926 earned an unheard of 97-rating, noting: "It’s a complex smoke with perfect balance, showing flavors of chocolate, coffee and nuts, as well as some black cherry. The cigar has a finish so long it seems to never leave the palate."
“Unreal smoke, and everything you can ask for in a cigar. Smooth, yet strong, with that black cherry flavor at the end tops everything.”

“I have tried some other pricey cigars and been relatively unimpressed, considering the cost. Not so with the Padron 1926. These smokes are so good, right down to the nub, they make you wish for a cigar-sized roach clip. I now understand what is meant by a complex cigar. Spectacular flavors all the way, as advertised. If you can only afford a 5 pack, do yourself a favor and try these great smokes.”

“.... Do not pass up the chance to try these amazing cigars! I could go on and on about how smooth they are, the great smoke, the taste, the craftsmanship but the reality is that this cigar is not just at the top of my list, but many others, it is a phenomenal stogie that will leave you wanting more!”

“Very good smoke. Construction is amazing, excellent wrapper, not a soft spot anywhere in the body. Wrapper was very dark, not too oily...just right. Prelight draw was sweet. You could tell it wasn't going to be a particularly spicy offering. Instead upon lighting it you are greeted with a mild spice, not peppery, and a chocolate flavor. For as tightly wrapped as it was, large volumes of smoke were produced and the draw was just right. The smoke was very silky and coated the palate just right. Not overwhelming, not weak. These flavors continued through the entire smoke, sweet here and there but nothing consistent...some earthy tones here and there. I paired this with a quadruple ale. I think the cherry in the quadruple matches well with this cigar as does the high alcohol content. They seemed to level each other out, making each other very smooth and delicious. Burn time was about an hour, very slow and consistent. Burn line was razor sharp and the ash held until I discarded it. I only had to discard once the entire burn. All in all, a very good smoke. I was hoping it would be a little sweeter, but still very enjoyable. The taste won't leave the palate any time soon after the smoke is finished.”
“One of my favorite cigars smooth even smoke with incredible flavor.

“To be honest I had very high expectation from this cigar can't really say I was disappointed because it is a great cigar and draw, smoke, ash are perfect but...
Flavor is there not as good as I wanted it to be from start to finish. Middle of cigar is great but having smoke pardon 5000 maduro I have to say I would prefer 5000 instead being that 1926 is a bit more pricy. I would recommend this cigar for anyone to try you won't be disappointed but for the price it could be a bit better”

“I'm a family reserve fan but I wanted to try something a bit less expensive. The dollars are less on this cigar but the satisfaction is right there with anything I have ever smoked!”
