A. Turrent Triple Play is a lush maduro from Honduras issuing a meaty, medium-bodied array of flavor. To craft this dark and oily handmade, a beautiful San Andres Morron leaf from Mexico is extra-fermented for optimum flavor and aesthetics. Beneath this leaf, a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper serves as binder, securing a complex blend of Nicaraguan and Mexican long-fillers, with some extra maduro long-fillers from Honduras. The result, a 93-rated smoke boasting dark espresso flavors with sweet cedar, toast, and earth. The finish is long and toasty with a slight maduro sweetness, completing a slow-burning, highly rated handmade.
“From the moment you pick up this cigar until the moment you finally lay it down, I believe you're going to enjoy it. I particularly enjoy the San Andres wrappers and this was no exception. I found absolutely nothing I didn't like about the thing.”

“This cigar is absolutely fabulous!... It is soooo rich and deeply flavorful- nothing disguised. I bought one in a B&M during a recent trip to Tampa because the price was good (obviously still not as good as CI...such a pleasant cliche). You'll want to smoke this one to your elbow. A+”

“I bought the Triple Play at a local B&M after reading a ton of rave reviews. I only got to smoke 1/3, because this particular store has a tendency to over humidify, and against my better judgment I lit up right after leaving. Of the 1/3 I DID get to enjoy, the flavor was mouth-watering and it gave off an enticingly spicy-sweet aroma. Too bad it went out and was impossible to relight. I suppose it was the cigar gods punishing me for not ordering from CI!”

“Got a 5-pack about two months back and really wanted to like the A TURRENT TRIPLE PLAY but they were just bland and uneventful to me.I honestly don't see how it got 90+ ratings but one's pleasure is another's poison.”

“Many thanks CI, for introducing some great new cigars in your inventory. DON'T STOP! What you have in this cigar; is a very well constructed stick from cap to end. The only problem I encountered, was trying to keep the sides even. The humidor I have it in, is the 300 count sold by CI, and is humidfied with the EH-Plus. Before I smoke another one, I'm waiting at least a month hoping this will correct the uneven burn. The flavor is full, but not over powering. I was very impressed with the cap, due to it staying together the whole time. The Diesel is among my favorite cigars, but the cap will start to peel within two inches of smoking. In conclusion, it is well worth an order of at least 5. This will allow you to smoke a great stick, then decide if you want to pull the trigger on a box.
