Jesus Fuego comes from a long bloodline of premium tobaccos and handmade cigars. Since 1876, the Fuego family has been growing the world's finest tobaccos, producing one of the finest leaves in the world on the 'El Corojo' farm of Cuba. In 1995, Jesus Fuego - the Fuego family's 5th generation - moved to Central America and became one of the industry's premier blenders.
Picking up right where J. Fuego Origen left off, the maduro variety takes the reins with a juicy Brazilian maduro wrapper. By using the same hearty, rich, and explosive core as Origen, the Origen maduro retains a bold bouquet, but instead brings a whole new level of complexity to the field of play. Up close, the wrapper is thick, dark and teeming with oils. It pairs like a dream with the Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Mexican long-fillers, producing a spicy-sweet array of hearty nuances. Hints of molasses, espresso, earth, and pepper enter the fray as the burn inches toward a full-bodied crescendo. A bit of a knee-knocker that’s easy to pick up again and again. The J. Fuego Origen Maduro is sure to satisfy.
Burns straight, ash hangs forevs and a day, stays lit, draws smooth with large plumes of smoke. The taste is complex developing as the gar is smoked. There's a spice and clove flavor at first but that develops to a nice earth and cedar, followed by slightly sweet, good tobacco flavor, leathery, creamy. You'll smack your lips before it's over.

A wonderful surprise. This cigar was robust, with a good clean smoke
