Nick Perdomo has a knack for creating full-flavored, affordably priced Nicaraguan handmades. And his newly launched Exhibicion cigar line is no exception. But the within the ever-growing list of top-notch blends from his Esteli, Nicaragua factory, it’s becoming difficult to choose. Here’s why Exhibicion stands out: it’s crafted using a well-balanced blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers. Wait? That’s not different. Oh, each of the tobaccos contained within are aged 4-6 years in charred-oak Bourbon barrels – creating a rich, distinctive taste.
The Maduro variety features extensively aged Sun Grown Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and offers a densely flavorful, medium to full-bodied smoke. Notes of spice, oak, cocoa, and pepper coat the palate before a toasty, slightly sweet finish.
“These are really good smokes with an excellent body. They have flavor and aroma. I can't describe all the flavors involved but they burn well and taste great!”
CS of Rock Springs, WY
“One of the most delicious cigars I've ever had. The draw is perfect, the burn is even the entire way through, and the taste is amazing. It starts off with a black coffee taste with earthy undertones for the first inch or so, then changes to a sweet, chocolaty-coffee taste for the rest and becomes deliciously stout towards the end. I got a box of 5 and after smoking the first one, I became instantly sad at how few I had. It's a fantastic smoke by itself, but it also goes absolutely great with a finger or two of Glenlivit or a cup of coffee.”
DF of Sugar Land, TX
“Ahem - wow! That is a mighty beast! Full flavor and rich, thick smoke. Bring your folding chair - you're gonna want to relax a while.”
