Introducing the limited-edition Cult Ometepe. Hands down one of the most interesting cigars I've encountered, this cigar is not for everyone. But I mention this with a grain of salt, because those that can appreciate the blend at hand will no doubt be singing its praises.
If you’re looking for a cigar to keep you on your toes from start to finish, you’ve found it. Carefully crafted at the boutique TACASA factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, Cult Ometepe will have your attention from first glance thanks to the beautiful Ecuador Habano wrapper. But the secret to this recipe looms in the binder and filler - grown on the volcanic soils of Ometepe - an island in the center of Nicaragua. Bold, hearty, and highly unique, these tobaccos are the focal point as they produce a truckload of warm, chewy flavors baked into every puff. Notes of red pepper accent a rustic core of roasted nuts, leather, spices, earth, cedar, and toasty tobacco. Slowly evolving throughout, expect the flavor to continually shift as the body maintains a steady course of medium to full. From to bottom, everything about Cult Ometepe is top-notch - just take a look at the packaging. Each box is a piece of art, tying the whole ensemble together perfectly.
Wow, what a cigar! These have got to be one of my favorite stogies of all time. From the beautiful appearance, easy draw and rich flavors of tobacco and spice, these things are a marvel of tobacco-blending skill. On the strong side but never unpleasant. I wish I could afford to smoke these every day. To me, these cigars embody the perfect smoke!
