Think back to 2004 – over 8 long years ago. Bush defeats Kerry, the War in Iraq is plastered all over the television, the Carolina Panthers are in the Super Bowl, and the Red Sox win the World Series. It seems like forever ago. During that year, a special crop of Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper leaf had just been planted - fermenting and aging ever since. But now it’s ready for its debut.
Signature Collection Vintage 2004 Sun Grown employs a special 8-year-aged Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper that’s mellowed a bit, but still delivers tons of rich, Cuban-esque flavors. This leaf, in combination with a hand-selected blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers, delivers a hearty, robust smoke that’s extremely well-balanced. Layers of flavors are present within the thick, creamy smoke including notes of earth, almonds, cedar, coffee and a cherry-like sweetness on the finish.
“First off: This cigar is surprising. It doesn't look very unique or outstanding, but it has a nice flavor and just the right amount of strength....It's no Cohiba, but it's very good for the price. I don't remember any distinct flavors and I couldn't tell you if its leathery or earthy or creamy. All I can say is it's pretty dang good.”

“A driving home snack. Almost a toro verse a robusto, but an even clean burn, and easy on the wallet. The aging is noted, but more subtle than a 10-12 year aged tobacco leaf. Very enjoyable for the price!!!”

“Very nice cigar. Not too strong and not too "spicy". I can't discern flavors or tastes of cedar, espresso or any of the flavor descriptions that people use to describe a cigar. Although I do recognize "spice" or "pepper", which I don't care for. This cigar just tastes great to me and was very pleasurable. Very smooth, medium bodied and a great change of pace.”

“Have to say this is a very well made cigar; medium to the taste. Of particular note is the fillers used. Nicely rolled with a perfect draw & burn. Some of the cheaper cigars sold have branch size stems in the filler, not this one. Well worth the price.”
