“"CI VERTIGO IMPACT TORCH LIGHTER".....works fine, lightweight, nice look however it has a small fuel tank which doesn't make it through my day. Maybe you smoke less?”
VB of San Francisco, CA
“I spent money for an expensive lighter, didnt work so great. Bought this one and no problems. Who said you get what you pay for? Liars!”
DN of Escondido, CA
“This lighter is a flame thrower. It's hard to get one to work well up here because of the altitude, but I will say that this little guy just spent a 4 day camping trip destroying anything in front of it's sharp blue flame. It does tend to suck fuel a bit, partially because of the small tank, but other than that I can't say anything bad about it.”
SP of Denver, CO
“Maybe I got a bad one because mines a piece of junk! It lights maybe once after you click the button 30 or 40 times.”
WM of Phoenix, AZ
“My first torch since I started appreciating cigars, and I must say even though it is entry level, I feel like a pro using it. That’s cause it has no excuses to offer, and is solid and really well made, something you can see and feel with no doubt every time you use it. An honest asset to anyone using it, whether just starting or just getting the job done, you’ll find what you need here!”
RP of Worthington, WV
“Lights just fine but the lid won't stay closed. The lid and the catch are plastic. Sorry, but I'd have to say no to this lighter.”
PK of Saint Charles, MO
“Got this lighter for Christmas, have to say as of right now I'm impressed with it. Lights every time. The only negative so far is that it doesn't close very well since the lid & catch are plastic, I actually hold the release button when I close it because I'm afraid it may just snap. I normally switch between my Zippo Blu and a $3 Ronson I got at Walmart (the best cheap lighter ever!). All in all this lighter is working fine for me, haven't had any issues that some have had (running out quick or hot button). If you're looking for a lighter sporting the nice C.I. logo then I'd recommend this one.”
JK of Cape Coral, FL
“Good lighter. Inside of the lid is a mirrored plate (probably for heat protection) that works great for seeing the end of a stogie while lighting up.”
KH of Chesterfield, SC
“GREAT Lighter, however, there are 2 major flaws with it: #1: The tank is VERY small... You may get 3 or 4 cigars lit and it will be empty... AND #2: The ignition button gets HOTTTTTTT!!! You WILL burn yourself a few times... Other then that IT WORKS GREAT!!! Light Up And ENJOY!!!”
RG of Fredericksburg, VA
“I got this as a freebie with a humidor combo. I have two other lighters (Zippo and generic store brand torch), but may have to replace both in favor of this one. Tight blue flame and great lighting ability. It also has a metallic top. I'm sure there's a technical reason for this, but it serves as a neat little 'mirror' when lighting your cigars.”
FS of Lake Helen, FL
“This is my second one, and I'm starting to have the same problems the other one gave me. The first one didn't last 6 months, and the only reason I purchased another one. I use this one to carry around and don't mind as much if I loose it. As another person said, the holding tank has to be filled more often than I like, and it doesn't feel very solid. But hey, it's only $15.00 dollars which is really low in price compared to others. You have to ask yourself; do you want to spend the price for this lighter every six months, or pay more for one that will last for years?”
