For paper gift certificates:

• The gift cerfiticate number can be found directly under the Cigars International logo.
• In the bottom right box of the gift certificate, you will find a set of three numbers separated by dashes "-". The claim code is the middle number. For example, if you see 123456-789123-456, your claim code would be 789123.

For emailed gift certificates:

• After the second paragraph in the email, you will find a rectangular box containing all your gift certificate information. On the right side of this box will be the certificate number and claim code.

1. Add items to your shopping basket.
2. When you have found all the items you want, click the "Checkout" button.
3. Returning customers must log in or new customers create an account.
4. On the "Verify Order" screen, you can redeem your gift certificate by entering the certificate number and claim code into the "Gift Certificates" section and click "Redeem".

To view the remaining balance of your gift certificates:

1. Log into you online account by clicking the My Account link.
2. Just above the "Most Recent Orders" section, you will see a link that says "To redeem a gift certificate or view your current balance click here." (view sample)
3. From this new page, you can view the remaining balances of gift certificates on your account or apply a new gift certificate to your account. (view sample)

View Image 3 - This image shows a sample order receipt after purchase. As you can see, the gift certificate was redeemed for the total amount of the order. The remaining balance of the gift certificate will be available for future orders.

• The balance due on an order that exceeds the gift certificate amount must be paid by credit card.
• Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
• We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
• Gift certificates will expire one year after the date of issue.
• Cigars International reserves the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate is redeemed and used to make purchases.
