Job Title: Junior Web Application Developer
Reports to: IT Manager

Job Description:

This is an entry level position where the candidate will be required to, either alone or as part of a team, design, build, modify and manage multiple transactional e-commerce web sites, using a multitude of technologies.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • New Application development.
  • Maintenance and extension of existing applications.
  • System and application monitoring.
  • Technical support of applications including after hours (On-call) support.
  • Documentation of applications and systems.
  • Translation of business needs to technical action plans.
  • Keep management and other senior staff apprised of the status of projects and systems.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements/Core Competencies:
  • Must have strong HTML/DHTML knowledge.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good object oriented development and practices, as well as an aptitude to understand new concepts quickly.
  • Must be able to adopt practices prescribed by senior development staff effectively.
  • Understanding of Relational Database Systems (Ex. MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc) is required.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is desirable.
  • Experience with .NET framework is desirable.
    • .NET MVC or WPF experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Classic ASP, ColdFusion, ActionScript, and VBScript are all plusses.
  • Some previous experience in all phases of application software development/maintenance life cycles in an enterprise client/server and/or web-based environment is preferred.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Must possess the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to shift focus and priorities quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical parties.
  • Understanding of e-commerce, sales, and distribution industries and processes is a plus.

Job Title: Contact Center Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives
Reports to: Call Center Supervisor

Primary responsibilities:
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for customer orders, ensuring a timely and professional response to incoming customer calls/orders
  • Answers incoming customer calls in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Communicates effectively with customers to ensure accuracy and quality of customer account information and customer order data.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively maneuver through appropriate system screens, utilize available department tools/information, requesting assistance as needed.
  • With supervision and coaching, learn how to develop and ask open-ended questions and use effective listening skills to obtain information from the customer.
  • Demonstrates cross-selling and up-selling skills, maximizing all sales opportunities.
  • Effectively utilizes feedback from call monitoring to continuously improve performance in providing one to one service to the individual customer.
  • Responsibilities/requirements subject to change based on business needs.
  • May perform other related duties as required


Experience needed:
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute and perform data entry accurately.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Job Title: Retail Store Associates
Reports to: Management Team members

We have an immediate need for or an outgoing, friendly, highly motivated individuals who can take control of their career and go beyond today's standards to provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible. In addition to our Historic Downtown Bethlehem Factory Outlet location, we expanded to a 2nd Lehigh Valley location, a 5,000 square foot superstore in Bethlehem Township (PA).

Full and part time opportunities for Experienced and Entry level associates are available at both locations. Retail experience preferred but not required. This is an open environment that demands initiative and imagination from all team members. You will gain experience in all aspects of the business including but not limited to sales, merchandise presentation, in store events, customer service and all operational functions within the store location.

Warehouse Operations Roles
Receiver
Objective: To count inbound inventory accurately yet quickly so that merchandise can be delivered into inventory within 24 hours of receipt. Must possess basic math skill, be able to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Replenishment
Objective: To put away new inventory into proper bin locations and overstock within 24 hours of counting. To pull down overstock and replenish bins so products can be available for the next work day. Must be able to operate stand-up lift, and lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.

Sampler Maker/Assembler
Objective: To create samplers in an accurate and timely manner as designated by management. Samplers must be accurately assembled in a neat manner and presentable for sale and delivery to our customers. Individuals must be very detailed oriented.

Order Layout
Objective: To sort picked product and match it to the customer invoice efficiently and accurately. Order layout drives the tempo on the packing floor, so it is important that the employee has strong product recognition and pays close attention to detail.

Packer
Objective: To pack individual customer orders efficiently in a manner that ensures no damage to the product inside the package as well as an above average package presentation upon delivery to our customers. Presentation is very important; it is our customers’ first impression of Cigars International.

Scanner
Objective: To scan and affix shipping label to each package and place each package on correct pallet or bin for shipment.
