All hail Alameda!
You know what gets me up in the morning? CIGARS. More specifically, cigars that are priced to move, and that I can feel good about enjoying on a regular basis. That said – I don’t wanna smoke cheapies. So what’s a poor fella like me to do? Luckily, there’s a thing called Alameda. This thrifty little handmade comes from Manuel Quesada, the same mind that brought us the highly regarded Casa Magna and Fonseca brands. So you know it’s good. And besides that, it’s got some serious bang for your buck.
The icing on this cake is the Connecticut, natural or maduro wrapper, with a feisty Brazilian binder just beneath. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find an all long-filler blend that hails from Dominican soil, and offers a superb mild to medium bodied experience. Notes of spice mingle with cedar and oak throughout the length of this flavor-packed journey. It’s smooth, it’s tasty, and it’s well-priced for what you get. So get on it, already!
