J. Fuego Heat Corojo

It’s getting HOT! HOT! HOT!

Jesus Fuego is bringing the heat with his next release called…Heat Corojo by Jesus Fuego. It’s a little redundant, I know, but bear with me, you will be glad you did! Coming from a family five generations deep in the industry, J. Fuego has tobacco coursing through his blood.  After decades of the Fuego lineage calling Cuba home, Jesus set out to Central America in the mid-nineties, intrigued by pristine conditions and fertile soils. After years and countless releases utilizing Corojo tobaccos, Jesus has located the perfect Corojo crop for a release dedicated to this revered leaf that he has dubbed, Heat Corojo.

This smooth, medium-bodied blend is no slouch in the flavor department, boasting nuances of cream, white pepper, and a prominent natural sweetness. The blend is something to be admired, with Ecuadorian Sumatra, and Nicaraguan Criollo long-fillers adding unrivaled complexity. A Nicaraguan Corojo binder lays beneath a pristine Honduran Corojo wrapper. This unique blend speaks to J. Fuego’s experience and talents working with premium tobaccos, a must try for all enthusiasts across the nation.

Very good smooth smoke.
I really enjoyed this stick. Got one in a sampler, this was my first J. Fuego smoke and it was great! Did a punch cut and the draw was firm, but not uncomfortable. Savory notes of roasted meat, bittter chocolate and soft black pepper. Just minor touch ups to even up the burn. Never got louder than a medium heft, and ended up smooth and satisfying. Need to get more!

A good above-average cigar for a below-average temperature.
The J. Fuego HEAT Corojo was an unforgettable smoke. I had the Grande, a nice fat cigar and full of flavor. The smoke has some pepper to it, but not overpowering. A sweet aftertaste on the tongue, and long lasting too. Construction left something to be desired; the binder cracked open and the ends frayed. Lots of little pieces came off in the mouth. I would have preferred a more even burn. All in all, the HEAT is an above-average cigar, great for relaxing outside on a cool day, but not for a special occasion.

Bring the Heater Ricky !!!
I totally disagree with the last review. I am new to the cigar club but i have had nothing better than the HEAT when it comes to flavor. Got me mine in a sampler and want more. Not to smokey and full of pepper flavor. The wife didn't even mind the smell!!!

This cigar is okay! Nothing really stands out about this particular cigar. I wasn't impressed with the flavor. On the other hand, it is constructed well. Tight draw and I had to keep re-lighting it....
Medium to medium full for sure. Nice pepper up front with a definite corojo profile. Similar to some other blends I've tried from Jesus Fuego. Good price point on these. I'm gonna smoke a few more and re assess these but from what I've smoked, good bang for the buck!
