A. Flores Serie Privada

So vintage.

Pinar del Rio’s second release of 2012 utilizes some of the oldest tobacco on hand in the factory, which explains what makes it so good. This medium-bodied blend opens perfectly with a natural sweetness, then swiftly follows up with a kick of spice that will drive your palate wild. Serie Privada is available in two Ecuadorian wrappers – Habano or Maduro – so go ahead and take your pick. Created as a tribute to Abe Flores, a master blender responsible for a host of 90+ rated lovelies, this is one stunning handmade that will get your juices flowing.

I am a beginning here and keen to try many different kinds and brands. This one is definitely the best pick so far.

I generally go for a Toro but wanted a quality quick smoke. This came through from the first to last pull.

Customer Testimonials
The Maduro in the Toro size is AMAZING! Without a doubt it is the cigar of my year. If you are into bold flavors without the strength and you are a dark chocolate/coffee fan then THIS IS YOUR CIGAR! Worth the money..
Excellent construction and draw with an above average burn requiring few touchups. Same voluminous amounts of smoke output as the Maduro version. The smoke is thick on the palate with a creamy texture but slightly dry. Solid medium strength with medium to full flavors. Flavors of cream, bread and honey with light floral notes. Unlike the Maduro, becomes smoother in the second half with a medium length finish of soft caramel and black pepper.
Very easy to light. Excellent construction, draw and burn. Voluminous smoke output that is slightly oily with a thick mouth feel. Medium to full strength and medium to full flavors. Flavors of sweet black pepper, coffee and cocoa with a medium length finish of aged tobacco, leather and very little spice. A very smooth cigar with rich flavors and increased strength in second half.
Wow what a cigar...I know it's pricey, But what great balance and flavor....I am reviewing the 6/54 toro maduro. I find it to be medium full. With some very nice tobacco and maduro flavors .
