Gurkha Estate Vintage Salomon

The Estate Selection Vintage is an exquisite handmade utilizing choice, vintage tobaccos from wrapper to filler. The wrapper is a rare 8-year-aged Dominican leaf teeming with flavor and covered with toothy goodness. The long-filler blend is all Dominican cultivated 5+ years ago, inside an equally aged Habano-seed Dominican binder. A truly vintage Dominican puro dishing out rich, creamy flavors from start to finish. Hints of wood mingle with toast, hearty spices, vanilla, and a peppery-sweetness on the finish. Each of these flavors grow more intense during the slow burn, coming to a full-flavored crescendo at the nub.

Not a fan. I love Partagas Black Label, and many Cao Brazilia Gol, and maduro wrapped med - full flavored cigars....

Just now enjoyed the shaggy foot version. Flavor description here is right on. Lots of smoke. Light enjoyable draws. I smiled from the foot to the nub! Haven't found a Gurkha yet that I wasn't fond of... So far Gurkha has been my favorite of all time as an occasional or once a day smoker.

The Gurkha Symphony is my favorite cigar. Hands down it the best flavor IMHO, for me. At the price this my favorite cigar. Not as creamy as the Symphony, but it shouldn't be, it's not a Connecticut. I love for the price. For most cigar aficionados (on a modest budget) this is an excellent everyday smoke. The flavor is mild with notes of dark chocolate, spice, and creame. The construction is superb and the burn is perfect. The box makes for a shelf piece, although I'd rather do without to have a lower price point. I give this cigar an 89. Delicious, and a true steal at CI prices. I smoke them to the nub everytime.

Awesome smoke. Love the shape!

Great cigar! I've found to prefer these over Cohibas, Rocky Patels, and Alec Bradleys. I'd suggest picking up a box of 10 and enjoying this well crafted cigar.
I think I've smoked most of the Gurkhas? I love their brand. My two favorites are the Centurian (perfectos) and the Vintage 2001. Both are balanced and "nub-smokers". I don't have the palate to taste the flavors of cigars, only whether balanced (same throughout), harsh (bite) or smooth (gentle experience). I never taste cashews or vanilla or peatmoss or hamburger...just cigar. The Vintage 2001 is a balanced, smooth, enjoyable smoke and an all-time great! Load up!

Exactly what was described, smooth ash til the end with just enough mixed flavors.

I got them cheap and it was a well made decent smoke. Score them when they're cheap and available.

Love the Vintage. But first time trying them in a Salomon. But was a steal at the clearance price. Keep 'em coming! Thanks C.I.
