Nicaraguan Sweets 2nds

For a limited time, enjoy additional savings on select sizes of Nicaraguan Sweets 2nds. Discounted pricing is reflected below.

I can hear the whispers and moans already, "Those are seconds, they must be crap!" But I say 'Negative, Ghost Rider...' Although I can't tell you exactly where these handmades come from, I can tell you that they are produced at one of the most reputable factories in Nicaragua. In many instances we cannot reveal the specific blend due to manufacturers not wanting their blends being sold for much, much less. Each Nicaraguan Sweets 2nd is teeming with the same long-filler tobaccos, and flavorful wrappers, producing a rich and smooth experience. The kicker with each one of these tasty treats is that they all have a sweetened cap....that's where the 'Sweets' comes in....adding a slightly different, but pleasant experience.

Daily Go To Cigar
Worth it's weight in gold. This cigar is a true premium cigar, but cost pennies on the dollar. I've smoked roughly half of my 15 pack of toros and have zero negative things to say about this cigar. Full flavor with a hint of sweetness, the sweetened cap is a perfect addition to the flavors of this cigar. I guess if I had to choose one not so great thing to say, it would be that this cigar is not complex. What you start out with is what you get. But it holds those delicious flavors down to the nub. It's definitely worth a shot if you're hesitant about it.

Strong! Be prepared!
First, this was mislabeled as sweet, which it DEFINATELY IS NOT. Secondly, it is a VERY STRONG TOBACCO flavored cigar. However, that being said, after resting a week, I cut the churchill in half (I really wanted to try it and ran out of time!)and tried it and got one helluv a buz! This is a very potent maduro! The ash is bright white and fell after about two inches. Not a bad cigar for those times when you want a strong smoke! Just remember that it is a 2nd and expect some relights and blemishes. More time in the humidor might mellow it some and correct the touch ups.

not sweet at all.
good draw, stays lit. an ok smoke. Great for the price. Try the toro size when I first tried the toro I thought I was smoking an Acid Kuba kuba.

Always a winning hand with a Baccarat!
This moderately priced, mild cigar never lets me down. While some other premium sticks start unraveling during the smoke or have to be re-lit several times, the Baccarat has a great taste for a mild cigar, delivering an even burn, with really good construction. Even though I like to smoke many different varieties and brands, the Baccarat is a winning bet!

Good everyday smoke
Not a bad deal, just a little bit stronger than I like but ok none the less.

Great cigar to share and trade and talk about.
These are great mild cigars. I had no issues, good burn and a long ash. The sweet taste last about as long as it takes to get the cigar wet while smoking it. I will reorder, hope I have as good luck with this batch as the last!!!!

First shipment was very good. Spicy, peppery, with sweet cap. Based on that, I ordered more. Second shipment, entirely different cigar. Not spicy, not peppery, no sweet cap. Harsh smoking, somewhat bitter. I should return them.

Really love this Nicaraguan cigar. Excellent Flavor and Aroma to the rain forest. Beautifully wrapped, it's burned solid to the end.

VG for price. Even better
VG for price. Even better value for lower price (no samplers), which should include shipping and handling, etc. Only had a couple of these so far.

I'm new to cigar smoking,
I'm new to cigar smoking, but am quickly learning what I like. I picked these up mainly for something cheap to take up room in my humidor. For the price these 2nds aren't half bad, good burn and draw. Only downside is they smoke real fast, about 45 minutes. Any sweet flavor these have is from the cap and some say it goes away quick, I've noticed the flavoring last a while for me but I think I would like these better without the flavoring or more of a sweet tobacco flavor. All in all not bad for the price or you want something that won't take all day to smoke

Very Good - Sweet
If you like a cigar with a good draw and a dipped / sweet taste, you can't beat these especially at this price. I feel the larger sizes are better for some reason.

Horrible Taste
I didn't like these at all. They have a taste like a wooden stick with a very nasty aftertaste. I couldn't even make it to the second 3rd before I just tossed it out. I now have several extra to give away so they're not taking up valuable space in my humidor.

What a Find!
So happy to find these belicosos even if they are 2nds. CI advertises the crap out of the 1sts of this brand, but the short torpedoes have been unavailable for a long time. And here they are. The Sumatran wrapped version is the sweetened tip one. Great medium bodied cigar - mildly sweet with gobs of flavor. If you don't know what these are, you're not paying attention!

What a find !!
I have been searching for these cigars for many years. The short Torpedo has been unavailable in the firsts of this line for a long time. They are truly the holy Grail of sweetened tip cigars. They're not the world's greatest and they are seconds but they're very good. CI advertises and sells the crap out of the firsts, but the sword torpedoes have been missing. If you don't know what these are shame on you.

Something is different
I have ordered these a few times before, and they were great. This time, the order didn't taste as rich and looked lighter in color, didn't have a sweet taste, and they were a bit stale. I thought these were a go to but I don't think I will order them again if this is how they are being produced. I wish I could give a better review as I used to enjoy these.

They were ok
The first order was a lighter wrapper and they were ok... Nice taste and burn... The second order for whatever reason was a darker wrapper and were way to strong for my taste
Customer Testimonials
Solid construction with a very smooth and light draw. Mild to medium taste with slight vanilla infused on the cap. Good smoke at a great price; will buy again.
I think the thing that makes these cigars "seconds" is the lack of a sweet tip. I smoked a pack of Coronas & Robustos, no sweet I could detect. Ignoring that, these are pretty good cigars. Well constructed, good burn, nice flavor. Good smoke for a cheap price.
A pretty good cigar. Not very sweet though. Just a touch of sweetness on the cap, but it goes away quickly. A mild-medium smoke to me. A good price and I would buy them again.
I got these looking for a sweet cap. I didn't notice the sweetness. A good friend who rarely smokes anything infused or sweet noticed it right off the bat. Okay smokes for the price, good construction might want to see how they get after some time in the humidor.
Awesome cigar for the price! Will be buying more!
