Torano makes great cigars, that’s I fact you and I both know very well. They always have. But there was a time back in their younger years when their marketing and packaging just didn’t grab enough people, or the right people. So good cigars, really good blends, were missed and forgotten. It’s a sad story, but one that’s played out in this industry hundreds of times before. Fortunately, this one has a happy ending. Charlie Torano recently dusted off the family ‘bible of blends’ and uncovered a deep list of top-notch recipes. Timeless blends, all but forgotten, Charlie had an idea….and the Circa Series was born.
The second release in the Circa Series is the Vega Dominicana. This is a brand that exploded onto the market in 1996. The Vega Dominicana showcases a vintage Ecuador Habano wrapper and a bold blend of Dominican long-fillers, yielding a brilliantly rich profile filled with dark, roasted flavors and notes of leather, sweet wood, and coffee. Add in a crazy low CI price and there is no reason to hesitate....round two is under way....ding, ding!
