Torano Vega Dominicana Sale

Torano makes great cigars, that’s I fact you and I both know very well. They always have. But there was a time back in their younger years when their marketing and packaging just didn’t grab enough people, or the right people. So good cigars, really good blends, were missed and forgotten. It’s a sad story, but one that’s played out in this industry hundreds of times before. Fortunately, this one has a happy ending. Charlie Torano recently dusted off the family ‘bible of blends’ and uncovered a deep list of top-notch recipes. Timeless blends, all but forgotten, Charlie had an idea….and the Circa Series was born.

The second release in the Circa Series is the Vega Dominicana. This is a brand that exploded onto the market in 1996. The Vega Dominicana showcases a vintage Ecuador Habano wrapper and a bold blend of Dominican long-fillers, yielding a brilliantly rich profile filled with dark, roasted flavors and notes of leather, sweet wood, and coffee. Add in a crazy low CI price and there is no reason to hesitate....round two is under way....ding, ding!

Not my first choice, but I'd smoke one again.
Not a bad smoke for the money, but I wouldn't count on an even burn. Expect a very light flavor profile with a few visual imperfections in the wrapper.

Great Buy
This is a really good bargin cigar. I try a lot of economy bundles and this cigar is so far the best flavor for the dollar. It's nutty and bready to start, gets a little spicy in the mid and you will smoke it to the nub on the end. On top of my favorite list.

Torano Vega Dominicana Churchill
The Torano Vega is a medium to full smoke with a smooth draw. From the first draw it has peppery spice taste and then it turns to a nutty nuance. This is a very good cigar with a nice price tag. I'll be buying more Torano Vega's soon.

I have been trying a lot of different "bargain" boxes and bundles. The Vega is the best so far. It has a wonderful first draw. It turns slightly spicy and can be smoked to the nub. Well made. A great cigar.

Torano Vega Dominicana Churchhil: a pleasant surprise
I bought these to share and they were a hit. A pleasant surprise for a Medium when it comes to pleasing everyone. Great construction, no harsh draws and the subtle undertones did not let you wondering if you truly liked them. All in all a great smoke for a wonderful price.

This is a very good cigar. It has a nice draw with a peppery and coffee taste which I enjoy. The price was good for the bundle.

Just OK
My purchase of Torano Vega Dominicana Toro has been a mixed bag ranging from an enjoyable smoke with light hints of coffee and cedar to a tree branch that could not be drawn from. Half way through the purchase, 4 of 10 in this lot are rolled so densely they were not smokable. Unfortunately, the aggravation of the blocked smokes casts a cloud over the whole bundle.

Not a good experience. Poor construction: cavitated; continually went out; harsh taste. First Torano purchase, will probably be my last.

Decent Smoke
! was wanting to give 31/2 stars but couldn't. I have smoked nearly a bundle so far and I've enjoyed them for the most part. 2 were incredibly tight and were miserable. Another 2-3 canoed on me. I'm not totally convinced these are all long filler as some refuse to hold a good ash. The others were great for the price. Medium-med/full in my opinion. White ash-- when I had an ash== volumes of a firm slightly creamy smoke. Good to the end and never got hot towards the end....I will be buying another couple of bundles to see if they are truly worthy of being my daily smoke which I'm hoping is the case.

Mr. Shelton
these are great cigars for the money! they have a smooth and rich flavor and i swear i taste a hint of licorice during the slow burn. 2 dollars a stick but they taste like a more expensive cigar. i also love cao mx2

Will buy again!
I highly recommend this cigar. Good draw, full bodied taste. Burned well down to the nub and held the ash well. Great price as well.

Still a great cigar
I usually buy the toro of this cigar. I've never had a problem with that size but for some reason i have has about 4 of the robusto's to have big long stems in them making the tough to smoke. Wen i opened them they all had the stems in them. The rest that I've smoked so far have been perfect. I will stay with the toro's although i would order these again.

Quite Flavorful
This is another great find from Torano. It changes its complexity as you get about 1/3 into it. Very smooth and flavorful. I'll definitely be picking up some more of these.

Solid Bargain Stogies
The draw was very good on these m-f bodied cigars. Some nuances but not spectacular. Not my first choice of smokes, but when working with a budget, perfectly acceptable. I'd recommend them for anyone under similar constraints and searching for a solid smoke.

Excellent Cigar!
The Torano Vega Dominica has that "not to full, not too mild" blend to it. Perfect smoke anytime of the day feel to it. Real nice burn to the end. I've had more people ask who makes this cigar from the aroma. This ones a winner...I highly recommend this cigar

Great Price
For the money, these are a pretty good smoke. Good construction, good plume, tasty. I'd rate them closer to medium than full. Worked well even OTT.

I've been a once a week customer with CI for some years now. And these cigars are the best value I have ever bought. They are worth more than what CI charges for them. But GUYS! PLEASE DON'T RAISE THE PRICE! Great everyday smoke. BUY EM:-)

Worst cigars ever purchased from CI.
These are the worst cigars I've ever bought from Torano. What a disappointment! Every single one of these sticks is rolled tight as a drum and damn near unsmokeable. Ageing them in my humidors doesn't seem to do anything either. I cant even tell what the actual flavor is supposed to be because I can barely get any smoke out of them. If I try to use a draw punch they explode open. I dont know what happened to Torano's quality control but there is NONE on these cigars. I experienced some plugged cigars from the Hogshead as well but at least half of those were still useable. NONE of these perform well and I'm very disappointed and angry at Torano and CI about it. I know they were on sale but I still expect quality and this cigar is anything but that. I cannot recommend a cigar LESS than these. They are a huge waste of your time, money and patience! - Dave
Customer Testimonials
Just ordered my second bundle. This is a favorite of mine now.
Amazing, one of the best values. I need to add more ASAP to the humi.
Delicious. Smooth smoke. Very white ash. Great aroma. Good amount of flavor and body but not a heavy cigar. A steal at these prices.
Just another great hit by Charlie Toraño! If you are going to "Make Time to Burn" make sure it's one of these! Excellent flavor and good draw and even burn.
Outstanding everyday cigar at a great price. I will be ordering these again and again.
I normally give my smokes at least 3-4 weeks in the humidor before smoking them, but I didn't want to wait long for these. Tasted great right out of the mail. I hope these stick around for a while and are not a limited run as I plan on buying more.
Fantastic med. bodied smoke. Rich and smooth. I much prefer them to the Hogsheads.
this smoke is by far the best every day stogie you can buy... fresh, smooth and all around great tasting and looking smoke...seriously you can't find a bundle with the same quality as this one... at this price... are you kidding me... I have been smoking for over 40 years. As the price keep climbing - you have to look for a quality everyday cigar. This is the one. Hopefully they keep the price at this value.
Torano does it again! Smooth and taste great!
