NOT BAD, AND HERE'S A TIP
Being a lover of the larger ring cigars, I saw these at such a good price and figured, give it a shot, if they are terrible, they weren't expensive anyway. I was pleasantly surprised... the first one had some trouble with minor splitting at the foot and again, minor unrolling up top, but one day in my humidor AFTER taking them out of their plastic wrapper, totally fixed that... so, I will be ordering more, and guys, the secret to these is to remove the plastic and leave the band on as long as possible.

The Log 7x70
The Log 7x70 were on sale when I purchased them. A bundle of 7 for just under 20 bucks. I thought ok, what's going to be wrong with these? Ended up being a good tasting cigar, but a bit dry, which caused the wrapper at the end that I clipped to constantly flake off, leaving me to pick paper off my tongue & lips. Other then that annoyance, a rather decent cigar.

Good stick
Good stick for the price. Bought them for the novelty but ended up really liking them. Good draw, lasted an hour and half plus. Love the Sumatra wrapper. Will be ordering more.

Not Bad
I bought the 6x70. I had bought them before. A few started unraveling, but other than that I have no complaints. It's an alright cigar, but I would buy them again.

Although it may not win any prizes, this is still a smooth enjoyable smoke that lasts over an hour. Well worth the price!

Love the Log!!!
I love big, thick cigars ... This filled the bill ... Great long-lasting smoke ... I usually like stronger cigars but I like the mildness of The Log ...

Nice "every day" smoke
Grab a few of these and stick them in your humidor. Over time they will get even more flavorful. These are a nice addition to your collection.

Never again
I like big ring gauge cigars. Saw these and gave them a try. They smoke like a cheap cigar and burn uneven.

Dry cigar
Cigars were dry when I received them, and burned a little hot and strong. I have not tried them since putting them in the humidor; hopefully they will be more moist. Price was right, but just not the cigar for me.

"BIG OL' GOODUNS" OR "GOOD OL' BIGUNS" - EITHER WAY YOU SAY IT, A GREAT SMOKE
A great experience. I've had them before, and will definitely buy them again. Set aside 2 - 3 hours for one of these, then sit back with your favorite beverage = and snack, too, if you like = and ENJOY!!

Better than I was expecting.
Better than I expected! I originally bough them for kind of a gag with my buddies but was pleasantly surprised when we lit them up. They're nice and smooth with mild and bold flavor. A very nice round the campfire or cool evening smoke.

A little too dry
I let them rest in my humidor for month. Wrapper still cracked to the touch. They had a lot of smoke and the flavor was okay.would have gotten a better review if the wrapper wasn't so dry. I have some more to smoke at a later time, I hope I can get some moisture back into that wrapper.

don't waste your money
don't expect much -- everyone has problems -- some with veins that burn straight line down, mostly uneven burns, constantly spitting bits out in your mouth -- i didn't give it a 1 star b/c i had 1 that was good out of the bundle.

The 1st was a DUD!!
Now, I only smoked 1 out of 5 so far, but the 1st was a complete dud. It lit good, burned evenly, but it produced very little smoke while stoking it. I have never had a cigar produce that little smoke. The taste was nearly non-existent as well. Maybe the next one will be better. I hope so......otherwise, it's back to paying a premium price on the Asylum 13 for my golf trips.

This is the epitome of STOGIE!
This is a Dominican stick, that is a surprising hidden gem in my book. This is NOT a gimmick cigar. Jochy Blanco has rolled a ‘Cuban Sandwich’ with a dark Sumatra wrapper. The draw is smooth and easy, while the gray woven ash can hold a good 2-3” before having to be gently brushed off. This has notes of coffee, sweet cedar, black pepper, and earth. Make sure you have at least 2 hours for this great stick!

Surprised
Bought The Log on a whim, don't usually go for a giant ring size. I was surprised by the mild flavor and smokability. A little dry upon arrival so put them in the humidor first. Will keep some on hand.

Great stick for the price!!!
I liked everything about The Log. If I had anything to say bad it might be that a couple of them got a little messy when I got down to the end. I will definitely order these again.

Tried them for the price.
Tried them for the price. Med-bold smoke that mixes nice with a morning Irish coffee on the golf course

Sucks
Maybe one of the cheapest made cigars ever. I buy seconds that smoke better than these. Everyone in the 7 pack has burned uneven, and 2 so far have snaked down the side and we're throw aways. After 15 min you are spitting out seed. Never again.

Not Recomended.
NOT RECOMENDED. I love CigarsInternational, but I have to be honest. This cigar is a real strike out. It completely unwraps after the 1st inch or so. I have a couple different humidors that I purchased from CI and I have tried varied humidity levels but these are just not smokable. I am dumbfounded about all of the good reviews on this particular cigar. There ARE some very good big ring size cigars available from CI, at excellent prices This is just not one of them.

Average Cigar
The wrapper came off as soon as I lit it. Smoke is not too bad. Size is good to share with friends but that's about it.

It's a log okay
I truly enjoyed this log. The burn, the draw, the taste and the price were all good. About the only bad thing I could say is, towards the end, the ash got a little messy. I will be ordering more Logs in the future.

Not just a novalty.
WoW! Great smoke. They tend to come a little thirsty so let them sit in the humidor for a couple weeks and then enjoy the aroma. Really a great value and a good smoke!

Solid price, solid cigar, as always shipping was great! Cheers

Enjoyable
Plain everyday smoke, something different once in a while. Draws easy, simple smoke. Make sure its completely lit before continuing. I like all three choices, the Stump is my favorite. Be prepared to manage the wrapper a little bit. I can get two smokes out of it.
3 out of 5
Ok Smoke, poor construction
The Log is a total gimmick, I get it, I bought it, I smoked it. It had a decent flavor, and I will be happy to smoke the 4 I have left. The 1 criticism I have is the construction on the 1 did smoke, left much to be desired. There were several hot spots through the stick and required several touch ups. I imagine its hard to get a consistent roll with such a large ring gauge. Fun to smoke, great conversation piece, not going to make it to make it to my "gotta have" list...
5 out of 5
Great Cigar!!
These are a nice tasty cigar for the price. I will be buying these again. Burned even all the way to the nub. Thanks CI!

Worth it!
I got these just because of the size, kind of as a laughing piece. They actually turned out to be worth it. Inexpensive, decent mild flavor, and a nice lengthy burn. Buying more now!

Log Ride
Great price! If you like large ring gauge cigars the Log is a tremendous choice. The 7 x 70 will keep you going for at least an hour. It's a decent smoke and for the price makes it a winner. Try it and see for yourself.

Its a LOG!!!!
Nice novelty gift and good conversation starter....one does look a little silly actually smoking it!!!! Flavor is good and it lasts for quite a while.
2 out of 5
Waste of time
Just like a lot of other reviews have stated. Cigar is bland and unravels about 1/3 through the burn. CI should really stop selling these novelty cigars.
4 out of 5
Good
I got these as a Christmas present for a buddy. When he was having one, he let me try it. I was surprised by how mild it was, in addition to how quickly it burned. He got done with it about the same time I did, despite having a more normal sized cigars. I think they are a fun novelty, and aren't a bad cigar. Good price as well.

Years of great service
I have been using CI for over 15 years. As a Soldier in the US Army and routinely deployed I have depended on CI to send me great cigars at affordable prices no matter where in the world I am. From Afghanistan to South Korea and from Kansas to Egypt, CI has been my go-to guys for good smokes all across the globe. Thank you and keep up the great job!

A best-value cigar
I love a cigar with a huge draw. The Log is just such a smoke. It is not refined but it is good. The flavor is enough to hold interest but not too intense. Call it interesting and approachable. Construction has been very consistent. I am amazed to find a cigar with so many great qualities at such a reasonable price. A cigar of this size may not be your daily smoke, but I know it will continue to be in my starting rotation!

Hard to Find a Better 70 Gauge
I purchased the "Tree" (7x70). It's an all-around good smoke. For it's price, you can't really find a better 70 gauge habano. The taste is good and not overpowering at all. The draw is also great. I would have given this cigar 5 out of 5 if only the leaf didn't peal as much. Licking the leaf before cutting and lighting helped. If you order it, keep it in your humidor a few weeks before lighting it up.

Disappointed
I typically like a 6x60 cigar size and thought the big 70 ring would be cool to try out. They were a little dry, didn't burn even and had to re-light a few times. There was almost zero flavor to these. A cool stick due to the size but not an enjoyable smoke. I wouldn't buy again.

A great cigar. A great deal!
One of the best 'bang for your buck' deals out there! Even burn, cool smoke all the way til the end. Highly recommended!

Bought as a gag, who knew it would be a decent everyday smoke, lasts about an hour and a half each.

WHAT A HOG!!!
Just recently purchased a bundle of the 5x70's and was pleasantly suprised with the taste and construction. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, thought it was probably a novelty cigar but they turned to be a good knock around cigar. I would buy again in a heart beat!

Acceptable for the money!
Pro: Huge cigar bought on clearance, Novelty Con: Smoked VERY quickly, Very little flavor, drew like a straw Conclusion: I stick them in my humidor to age for a year or so. Then I'll smoke them and see if they're any good!

Tree trunk size, twig size flavor
Looks nice and burned even throughout. Lots and lots of smoke but not much flavor. The profile changed on the last third and started to get some taste. Very mild cigar. Almost no flavor. Smoked 2 already maybe it will improve with age.

Fun Stick
I was pleasantly surprised - this beast burned evenly and was quite smooth. Just make sure you have at least an hour or so to spend with your new friend. Grab a buddy and get ready for a long conversation. This will be a staple in my humidor.

I think this is my new favorite.
Not a lot of flavor so that can be a plus depending on what you are looking for and it makes a lot of smoke. I like it because of its size and the fact that it is an easy smoke, I will buy them again.

Good smoke in general , great smoke for the price...
So I bought these because I have a prosthetic leg and the 5x70 is called the Stump and that made me laugh.. then I went online and some guy on youtube trashed them and really made them look horrible. I got my package of 7 in the mail and opened them up and they looked well constructed and smelled great. So onto to my review. This is a really solid cigar , .good flavor , kind of earthy and leathery, TONS of smoke and I love a smokey cigar. It burnt really well for a cuban sandwich blend, ash burned halfway down before I had to knock it off. I will buy more of these.

Log Review
Good draw, even burn. I find the 70 ring is just a little too large to smoke...start making the LOG in a 60 ring and I will be back for more.

Not a bad smoke for a novelty
I purchased these just for the novelty of such a huge cigar. I've smoked two of them so far and have been pleased with the experience. Flavor is mild to medium and fairly pleasant, although nothing complex or noteworthy. Construction was a little inconsistent on the two I've had so far. One was put together pretty well, burned evenly and felt uniformly firm. The other seemed a little more sloppily put together, felt a little soft in places, and didn't burn so evenly (required a few touch-ups with the lighter). But it was still a pleasant smoke, although I admit I'm easy to please. These are fairly inexpensive so I think they're a good value.
4 out of 5
Nice surprise.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this huge ring cigar. The flavor was exceptional with a sweet finish. Construction held up very nicely which was surprising for a 70 ring. When turning a friend on to this smoke I used the analogy of a great sporting event that gets better with each passing quarter and by the end you're hoping for an overtime. Take your time and enjoy!

Bought as a joke.
I figured that neither fishing buddy had seen anything like it, so I bought a bundle. Just because. These monsters are hard to smoke, but I normally don't smoke anything bigger that a Robusto 5X50 so it could have been me. The most I could smoke was about half, it seemed to me to be way to much work keeping it lit and it canoed quite a bit. Fun as a joke, but not a real good smoke.

The Log is so so
It's not bad by any means it was just nothing special. I also thought such a big cigar would last longer. I touhght it was fine but would probably order something else in the future.

Dirt
Not worth buying. Terrible taste and they fall apart quickly. Do yourself a favor and find another cigar.

Honest seller
I have no problems with your establishment. I have had some very bad experiences with other sellers, suffice it to say that I (WILL) do not deal with any others. I enjoy your fair price and excellent service. I trust you........

The ring gauge is wider than you think
Got these as a novelty, and they are that. Otherwise they smoke like a ghurka and burn about as evenly. I wouldn't recommend them unless you want something for a party or gag, etc.

The Log - Funny Name For A Cigar
I bought this cigar on a whim. It`s not a bad smoke, however it kept going out on me. They are fun to hand out just to see the look on peoples faces. Will I buy this stick again ? Probably not.

The Log 5x70
Had bought a few on clearance. Left them in humidor for @ a month. Tried a couple this past week. Burn was very good. Easy draw. Ash stayed on about half-way. Was more on the mild side. Flavor, mostly Earth, was consistent through out. This will become my morning cigar. Last @1 1/2 hours. Definitely a lot of smoke. Great price and will order again.

surprisingly good
These cigars, honestly, i got for the ring. Come on how cool is that? "The Log" with a luumber jack with axe. When i got them i wasn't expecting much. For a big cigar they great. Not to strong, but also not weak. Lots of smoke with great flavor.

LOG
I wanted to like these sticks a lot more than I did. The packaging is pretty cool, (looks like a flannel shirt) and I love the bigger ring gauges. Like the description there were some nice notes of chocolate/cocoa but they did not last and tended to be more on the flat side of any taste. The burn was consistent and as with most, the longer they were in my humidor the better. Over all, just “ok”, but makes for a good conversation piece.

Better than the name
A bit dry and lost some oil but about a half inch in the flavor came through.
Customer Testimonials
I gave three of my serious cigar friends a Log to smoke. All of them liked it and I did also. I just ordered the 7" Log. A very long smooth cigar smoking pleasure! You really can't beat the price. Try it!
Amazing cigars.
I just smoked one of these "LOGS" (5X70) and I have to say I enjoyed it. It only sat in my humidor for two days and I couldn't resist. I had to try one. It is a SOLID SMOKE!!! It was easy to light and the smoke just rolled off the cigar like a champ. The flavor was a bit bland, but I think it's a great cigar. The price is not bad either.
Impeccable construction. I tried one the day I got it, which was a little risky, but it performed very well without any time in the humi. I get a little bit of coffee, chocolate, and earth, but there's a strange medicinal-like finish that I can't quite place. Still, a very enjoyable smoke at bargain basement prices. Definitely use a punch cutter!
I was happy with this cigar. It smoked and tasted great. I got it more for a gag than anything else, but I enjoyed the smoke.
A huge cigar with a great taste. This flew under the radar but I got The Log and it is good to the last drop. I ordered more for my stash in the humidor. It's real good.
These are some BIG and long lasting gems! Wow they are good, but you must use a punch to get the best out of them. If you have 2 1/2 + hours and some pocket change, get yourself some of these.
I picked up a mazo of "Stumps" 5x70 on special as a novelty to share with fellow herfers as I am not a huge fan of big ring smokes. These sat in my humi for a good 6mos before I got around to smoking one with a buddy. The wrapper has a nice dark fermented Sumatra color and pleasant pre-light aroma, but it did have some minor cracks @ the foot, not that big a deal. These, as with most large ring smokes I have encountered, should be handled delicately. I punch-cut mine, as I thought the guillotine might destroy the wrapper, and had no issues. Draw was excellent, lit up easily, burned sharp, had plumes of smoke, but not a lot of flavor. Ash was tree trunk firm and held on for 2.5inches, I even snapped a pic @the 1/2 way point before I knocked off the ash which landed with a thud. In the second half the wrapper had some minor heat splitting, but burned through cleanly. Flavor never developed any better, but not any worse either until the last 1.5in when it did get a little harsh. Overall, not too bad a smoke for the price, and a cool conversation piece. I will add though, that my buddy's stick did unravel with about 2.5in to go and he retired it with 2in remaining, maybe because he was a little ham-handed.
An absolute pleasure to smoke from start to finish. I couldn't help but share with friends, and we all agreed this cigar is worthy of future purchases! Flavor and burn were perfection, and I could not put it down. The best 90 minutes I've experienced yet. Well done!
5 out of 5 stars! I was shocked how great this cigar was. I purchased some stumps to try out. The cigar was smooth and smoked easily. I could taste earth, oak and a hint of coffee. By far one of my favorite cigars. I would definitely recommend this cigar.
Wow, read some of the reviews here and find it hard to believe no one else loved these as much as I do. In our cigar club, we usually enjoy full flavored stogies like, Diesels, Genesis, 5 Vegas maduros and these LOGs can be placed right up there with the very best. These smokes were the bomb. Listed as a medium to full flavor, it should be redefined as "full-flavored" as these sticks pack a punch, no doubt. Albeit, hokey packaging (with the lumberjack on the band) but what did you expect with a 70G cigar? It's like sticking a magllight in your mouth! Smooth, silky robust flavor with hints of chocolate and coffee, yet with subtle earthy notes. The construction of the cigars are well worth noting as with its girthy ring, the cigar burns evenly...to the very last centimeter. I suggest this cigar, and maybe will get hmmmm and hawwws from other reviewers when I say, these babies will smoke NUBS any day. Look, for $25, you get 7 cigars...how can you lose? You have to try these LOGS to believe it!
If it were any bigger in girth, it would be like smoking a softball! It is a fair smoke and it burns well. At least it isn't coming apart when I smoke it. 5x70 yielded an hour of watching a storm roll in and the smoke no extra drama, and for that I am glad. I might buy some more, if the show back up I on MMAO!
no flavor whatsoever, great construction , great smoke out put but no flavor
....no real flavor.... when i punched the cigar it cracked a inch long down the side , then tried to cut that off and the whole cigar cracked....
Absolutely love this cigar. Great smoke from start to finish. Just picked up more
Just had one of these, didnt even let it rest. Great!! hint of chocolate and earth on lite up. Coffee and wood during..NOT harsh at all very smooth. Easy draw, tons of thick smoke, A cool smoke all the way thorough, I never put it down. Ash held to about half way, Puffed it down to around 2" or a bit less before it got a bit stong with tar. Love big ring sticks, this one is a winner and very reasonable thanks to CI !
Adroit
