Don Pepin Garcia El Centurion

Allow me to re-introduce...El Centurion.

No doubt you’ve heard of Jose “Pepin” Garcia, one of the great cigar makers of our time. And chances are you’ve sampled some of his work, but I can guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this before. Originally a limited-edition smoke, El Centurion is back and here to stay.

Staying true to the original blend, Pepin packs the El Centurion with all well-aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. The kicker here is he incorporates the super-unique Sancti Spiritus leaf which morphs this blend into a spicy-sweet beast with notes of pepper and leather. Medium to full in body, El Centurion is tasty right out of the box and after a few months of diligent aging, the real fireworks begin!

The box-pressed corona and toro are brand spankin' new, just released at IPCPR 2015, and are currently available for pre-order.

Another amazing Pepin
He has to be my favorite blender of all time. Every one is a good cigar for the value, but some are exceptional among the best out there. This one in an incredible size, although I might prefer a non box pressed corona. Not as full bodied as his others but it has a pleasant nutty character with his style of flavor.

Smooth and amazing
El Centurion is a reliable a great tasting smoke. Smooth taste, nice complex flavor. Every stick burns even with a nice white ash and rarely needs to be touched up. My absolute favorite smoke.

Perfect for smoking on a perfect night!
I smoked this bad boy on the first night of fall on my neighbor's driveway, while sitting on a couch he was disposing of the following day. It was perfect. I have been a fan of what the Garcias produce for a few years, and this is easily one of my favorite for a medium-bodied, smoky treat! The wrapper has a delightful sheen to it and looks flawless (like most of their cigars). The stick itself is firm, but draws like a dream. And the flavor on this is heavy on leather (which I love) with a little bit of sweet and a little bit of spice thrown in. I will be ordering more from CI!

Wedding favorite!
As father of the bride I was assigned three very important tasks. Pick music for the DJ to play for some of us older folks. Give away my daughter's hand in marriage and select some cigars for celebrating. Selecting the cigars was probably my easiest task on my list especially using Cigar International's website. I was able to find mild smokes that would appeal to a wide variety of guests at the wedding. The Don Pepin Garcia El Centurion Robusto were big hits. I appreciate the quick service provided by CI. I was able to wait until the last possible week to order the cigars at great price and know that CI would deliver on time. You guys are great and I will continue to order my stogies through Cigar International. Thanks.
Customer Testimonials
Aged a Toro Grande for a year. It was the best I've had. Smooth, and the flavors became even. Notes of leather, nuts, and a very little spice. Recommended!
One of the best I ever smoked. Too bad I found these at the age of 63!
Not a bad thing to say about this one. Well made with a beautiful dark wrapper. Love how the oils really bubble thru. Sign of a quality cigar in my book. Gonna have to let a few age to see how much better it gets. Featured recently at my cigar club night and nobody was disappointed.
i've had a few of these and throughly enjoyed them. freaking great cigar for the price!
excellent stick!!! after a inch in taste becomes creamy and i pic up slight notes of caramel. Very smooth retro-hale. one of my top 3 favorite sticks. Winner!!!
You can tell this is a Pepin cigar. Nice, dark oily wrapper, solid construction, good draw, and even burn. Pre-light aromas are stout and deceiving, suggesting a very strong cigar. Yet this smokes like a medium to medium-full, opening with a leathery taste an ample amounts of smoke. As you get into the cigar, the spice builds and changes a bit, never gets overbearing, and has a solid finish. The burn, like the flavors and amount of smoke are consistant throughout. I only had this belicoso in my humidor for a few weeks, so I imagine this stick will only get better with age. Even without, this is a solid smoke at a good price.
