These have really surprised me again, I have come to enjoy these as an everyday cigar, as a matter of fact I have about 3 a day!

Not a fan
I found these to be a bit harsh, definitely will not order again. However they do have a consistent draw and burn. They are better after you knock back a few.

CI Fresh Rolled Cuban Wheel Churchills
Very disappointed in the workmanship. More than half of the cigar had their wrapper unfurl shortly after lighting even though they are new and my humidor is perfectly conditioned. They taste fine but difficult to smoke with the wrapper damaged.

Wheel torpedo
these were a bit harsh for the first quarter then evened out in the mid range and got harsh again in the end. Some wouldn't stay lit either. Ide give it a mid 3 out of 5.

Fresh rolled
I think the cigar has an excellent taste and burns well and would probably give it a 5* if it didn't stink so bad. I can't smoke if within 50 feet of my house, good on the golf course

Wheel #3 for me
Price is right and not lost for flavor. Overall consistency of draw for this price range is 6 out of 10. Down side is a few are subject to cracking or holes. Maybe 5 out of 40. This is my every day Cigar and meets my budget and needs.

Great Everyday' er
For the price you just can't beat the CI Cuban Wheel. Good tasting cigar that is mild. You may get a 'hot' one here and there but for less than two bucks, who cares! I have paid far more with brand names and had worse experiences. Great bargain if you want a everyday smoke that wouldn't break the bank.

my go to golf cigar
Nice mellow smoke on the golf course. 1 stick usually lasts 7 holes. 1 try to keep a bundle aging because they are so fresh.

Great buy
Outstanding value. Mild and very smokable as delivered. I think the flavor gets better as they age in the humidor. I have one daily with a whiskey.

In expensive
not bad for price flavor has depth, with interesting tones in it. Construction a little loose, burn uneven, good enough to mow the lawn with.

For the price these are great cigars. You are not getting a 90+ rating but you're getting a good solid cigar with a decent flavor at a very reasonable rate , great every day cigar.

Great smoke for the price.
I have been ordering the Cuban Wheels for over 6 months. I have been smoking cigars for over 40 years smoking 6-7 cigars a day. I find this cigar to be an excellent value for the money.
Customer Testimonials
Second review on this cigar: great cigar, great burn. I've smoked about 8 now. Nice white ash, holds to about 1/3 of cigar before it falls off....Nice taste; even the smell is good. Don't know why the bad reviews. I would buy this cigar again. Yummy....
Wow, great cigar. No cons at all. Great draw; taste is smooth and yummy. I don't see why others had a bad review on them and the price is great. Will buy them again for sure. In fact I'm going to light up a 3rd tonight.
Very good, very smooth with a price that's hard to beat.
Nice cigar. The first 4 were great, nice burn and taste. The last 2 were way too moist and hard to light and keep lit. I noticed that when I placed them in my humidor the humidity rose 2 degrees. I am now in the process of drying them out. I'm sure they will be just as good as the first 4 were. Will buy more.
For whatever reason these cigars are just hitting the spot for me. I find them close to Rocky Patel Connecticut (I said close). Well worth a try.
Great cigar. Don't know what some other folks are doing to make these cigars taste bad. You do need to age them first. Taking them out of cellophane wrapper speeds the process. The cigar reminds me of H.Upmann Napa Reserve which is not rolled anymore. Recommend this cigar to anyone.
I don't know what caused the some of the bad reviews on these cigars. I do know fresh rolled need some sort of aging at least one or two months. I had one of the torpedoes I bought which has been aging about a month and out of cellophane wrapper. It was as tasty as an H.Upmann Napa Reserve which is no longer rolled. I smoked this CI Fresh Rolled down to the nub almost too small to hold without burning your fingers and was wanting more. Real good cigar. Would not be ashamed to offer to my buds. However, now that I think about it, I might be selfish and keep all of them for myself.
Nice sturdy smoke, good burn and flavorful! Never gotten a bad cigar yet from CI!
This is a fine replacement for the Piloto Cubano, which I can no longer get from this site. They are almost the exact same cigar. For those of you who use the guillotine cutter for these cigars... STOP! They smoke best with a punch! They are mild and I like that!
Whoever applied the wrapper really needs more training. On about half the cigars the wrapper fell off just after clipping and firing up. I mean it just unrolled and fell off. The binder stayed intact, so the cigars were still smokeable, if a bit ragged. Still not a disaster, the flavor was pretty good. I might even try again when these two wheels are gone. Maybe I'll get some pectin and re-glue the wrapper back on. Smoking these was an adventure.
I bought these on Black Friday because they were cheap; really regret it now. Wrapping falls apart, the packing is so loose you burn a hole straight through making a cigar straw, and won't stay lit. Sorry CI, but these are very bad.
Love these! I prefer them over the 5 Vegas Gold I recently smoked! Great price, good construction and lots of smoke! Excellent! I just wish they had larger ring sizes.
Love these! Just smoked a 5 Vegas Gold, but prefer these over the 5 Vegas! Excellent!
Have smoked 6 of these now. Not bad! A bit on the mild side and the stick seems a little light smokes kinda airy. Tends to want to burn unevenly. Nice construction but has a odd aftertaste I can't quite put my finger on, but smokeable while waiting on the Flor Del Todo's to come in, that I prefer over these. For a $1.25 they're smokeable. I'd buy them again so I would have something to hand out to moochers. LOL!
“I just got the box of all my best and the fresh rolled CI's. I grabbed one and headed out back. For the price I didn't expect much. Wow It's a good cigar. I am surprised. Thank You CI for making my smoking less expensive. You guys rock my world. Bob”
If you buy these be prepared to put them away for a good long while. Off the truck they're soft-downright 'squishy'--and very moist with a difficult draw. I just had one after a couple of months in the humidor and it gives you an idea of its potential. The flavor isn't remarkable even after the time in the humidor, somewhat mild. The ash is fine and holds well for about a half to three quarters of an inch.
Just finished my first wheel, and good riddens! I'm not sorry to say these were very disappointing, even at a buck a stick. Most tasted moldy and burnt like wet grass, even after a week in a dry humidor. I thought my humidor was going bad but the Ghurka's next to them were in great shape, and taste. Maybe the conneticut wrapper, but fell off just after lighting.
What a great deal, I don't know if these are hand rolled, machine rolled or what but when I received the wheel today and couldn't wait to try them out. I prefer a darker stronger cigar. Maduro torpedoes are my usual, but I couldn't pass these Churchills up at a little more than $1.25 a stick. It started out with a hard draw but loosed after a few puffs. The first half was very mild with almost no smoke but the flavors started coming in the last half. Creamy, leathery with almost no spiciness to it. I was a bit sad when it got to the nub after an hour of pure enjoyment. I would tell all my cigar buddies but don't want to give away the secret.
Starts fairly good but turns bitter about 2/3 of the way. Have to try a recut or blowing through it.
The cigars are very mild. The wrapper has a nice flavor. I am not sure I would purchase these again because they are so mild.
Super awesome. I will definitely purchase these again.
This is a wonderful smoke. Mild in flavor. Nice burn from beginning to end. Will definitely order these again. Thanks CI!
Got burnt on this one too. I'm eating more tobacco than smoking. Can't go for the deal because I'm getting what I pay for, a cheap cigar.
These are a slight cut above the Flor del Todos I was smoking as an everyday cigar. I bought them before they went up to $59 (they were $49 with a free lighter). If the price stayed at $49, I would definitely make the switch - but at $59 I'm not so sure.. (I'm CHEAP!)
Just got these off the truck. Wow what a great smoke for the money. Great burn&nice ash! Thanks CI for my new everyday smoke .
Bought a roll of these. I have smoked maybe 5 so far. No burn issues or draw issues. They smoked fine. Mild on the taste side. For $1 a stick I think they are my new giveaways. And I don't mind smoking them myself. Will buy again when I get low.
Very happy! Just received product. Never try this brand before. Received shipment in four days. Smoke one stick and WOW!!! I am one happy camper. this is a real winner. MB.
Just tried these and found them to be very good for the price. They were fresh and and well packed. A good every day smoker.
These are probably some of the worst cigars that I have ever smoked. They do not stay lit, they do not draw, burn un evenly, just all around bad.....Take the money that you would spend on these and buy better cigars
Had one after about 2 days in the humi. The draw was ridiculously loose. I don't know if they were too dried up before I put them in there or what. Taste was nice and creamy though almost pancakey? @ 1.50 a pop will def buy again.
Just bought some of these (torpedos) and have smoked two so far. The first half of the cigar is fine. I don't know what they put in the last third or so, but it's just awful. The last three inches seems to be .... ridiculously harsh and pretty much unsmokable. Maybe time will mellow them... I don't know. I haven't had much luck with "aging" turning a cheap ....cigar into a cheap good cigar....
