Delicious to the third degree.
Sosa Third Harvest is a new, small-batch offering that brings to the table a whole new approach to cigars. Ahem....allow me to explain. Typically, tobacco growing regions deliver two harvests per year, but due to its climate and location, the island of Ometepe, Nicaragua gets a very low-yield third harvest. Rich, hearty, and complex, these tobaccos ain't your run-of-the-mill leaves. And when blended correctly, they create a distinct, ultra-rich profile. That's exactly what you'll find in the core of this new morsel, layers of these leaves masterfully blended together, before being dressed in a golden-brown Ecuador Habano wrapper. Sounds easy, but dozens of blends were put under the microscope before the final call. It was worth it too, as this brew creates spicy-sweet tones of earth, red pepper, leather, and coffee all delivered in a well-rounded full-bodied fashion. In fact, it's so well-balanced it burns more on the medium to full-bodied side. But once you're done, that satisfying 'oh yeah' feeling hits your gut, telling you a different tale. In short, it's delicious. I would go as far as to put this toe-to-toe with any of the 90+ rated full-bodied blends on the market today.
