Devil's Weed

Devilishly good....and low priced!

Devil’s Weed. Quite a name. Unlike most new and unknown brands that emerge from the swampy borderlands of the cigar industry, I was a little intrigued by Devil’s Weed. It’s a handsome, um, devil, and it smokes great - hailing not from parts unknown but the Dominican Republic. The wrapper is a dark Connecticut-seed leaf grown in the natural cloud-covered valleys of Ecuador, which conceals an aged mixture of Cuban-seed Dominican long-fillers from four different plantations. The smoke is balanced with a creamy core and mild to medium-bodied profile. Sweet tobacco notes mingle with toasty nuances just before a crisp finish completes each puff. Mellow, yes - but eventful throughout.

And now Devil’s Weed even comes in maduro! Crafted in only one size, a big Churchill, Devil’s Weed Maduro offers a richer, more full-flavored experience….and it won’t even cost you extra.

With deeply discounted (read: realistic) pricing, Devil’s Weed is now a steal.

Customer Reviews of “Devil's Weed”
“CI did a great job of offering these cigars at an awesome price, so I decided to buy a mazo of 20 churchills to try. Well it is not one of the best cigars I have in my collection, but it does have a nice smooth draw and even burn. That being said it would be nothing more than a cigar that I would smoke while mowing the lawn or working in the garage. It is more of medium smoke than mild, and is one that I will be leaving in the humidor for awhile to see it that helps the overall taste. If someone were to ask me if I would recommend this cigar to a friend I would not today, but may have a different opinion after they have sat in the humidor for a month or so.”

“...Have tried them in the morning, at noon, and at night. Before bed, with my 1st cup of coffee, and even when I am just relaxing, paying full attention to the cigar I am puffing. Never made it through one Devils Weed Churchill. I do know some people that like them. A mystery to me. Still, for under $30 they could be worth a try. You may get lucky. If our reading this you know C.I. takes note of what their customers think. Especially when they are looking for something decent to smoke, but that stick comes up short. That's more then I can say about some other big-time, on-line cigar pushers”

“Finally made the effort get through another DEVILS WEED churchill. Let them sit in the cedar humidor for several months. Still a bland tasting cigar. After taste is simply not good. Someone mentioned I may have gotten a bad bundle as he thought they were decent. Maybe I did. Seeing they do not cost a fortune, and have some good and bad reviews around the net they may be worth a try. Once was enough for me though.”

“When possible i buy a brand from the midwest at a tobacco shop. The devils weed was better than that cheap cigar in flavor and harshness. I found a lot of cheap churchills have to be tossed because the draw is no good. I have not tossed a D. W. so far. I wish the ring size was larger. Usually i smoke a cigar in the morning with coffee almost everyday. So price is a concern, and the name is alright with me.”

“I have the Corona Grande size in my humidor. These aren't the worst cigars I have smoked. They are a decent everyday, cheap smoke. The draw is a bit loose and the burn tends to be uneven. They are a very quick smoke at around 30 minutes for the Corona Grande. For the price point, you can't really beat this deal! Much better than most "cheap" cigars without the overwhelming chemical and just plain smoke taste.”

“Ordered a box of the "Nicot" a while back. Just ordered another box today. Good flavor, a bit peppery, more medium than mild. Burns smooth and consistent through the entire cigar. I enjoyed them, and I'll be ordering more in the future.”

“One of my friend's dad introduced me to Devil's Weed about a year ago on the golf course. I fell in love with it and try to keep a small supply in my humidor. I have tried others and very few peak my interest as much as this.”
BP of Canadian, TX
“Tried the Devil's Weed on 2 different occasions. Both times I was unimpressed. Bland on flavor, yet still had to deal with way to much pepper. No smoothness to it. The wrapper fell completely apart on the 2nd one. Great price, but you are getting what you paid for. I won't be trying these again.”
PI of Navarre, FL
“Not a terrible cigar but for the price do yourself a favor and try Dark Shark. Better price and and much better cigar.”
CL of Rogers, AR
“Just got mine today. Good smoke, a bit pepper but too light of a draw. I'll keep some for the nieghbors. I going to stick to my usual a good priced Makers Choice.”
BC of Clovis, NM
“Devil's Weed is an excellent mild cigar. Sure to satisfy those who have a lesser experienced palate. Better than any Swisher or Sweet N Mild cigar. Superb value and lasts long. You will be surprised by it's flavoring.”
