A beauty from Fuente.
Sosa has seen its fair share of praise and ratings, but the Sosa Classic is without a doubt responsible for much of the limelight. Hailing from the Fuente factory in the Dominican, Sosa Classic utilizes hand-selected tobaccos all aged a minimum of 3 years. The core is composed of Dominican long-fillers secured with a Honduran binder. On the outside, awaits an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper in your choice of a dark and juicy maduro, or an oily and toothy natural. This bouquet results in a medium-bodied profile exuding a semi-sweet array of nuts, leather, and coffee delivered in chewy billows of smoke. This Fuente handmade is legit to say the least. The only hard part is having just one. But it's a good problem to have no doubt.
Great news! In addition to being named as one of the Top 25 Cigars of the Year, Sosa Classic earned an impressive 93-rating, noting: "An excellent cigar. It is very well made, with a beautiful wrapper. There are concentrated flavors of sweet spices such as cinnamon, a hint of leather and a sweet woodiness. Excellent balance."
