Oliva Flor de Oliva

Stellar, value-oriented handmades by Oliva cigars.

Flor de Oliva cigars are value-priced beauties from Gilberto Oliva and family, crafted from Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos and a robust and satisfying Sumatra wrapper. After aging, the end result is a flavorful, creamy blend - rich and creamy without the bite.

The ‘Giants’ sizes utilize the same blend of fine tobaccos as the more traditional sizes, but offer a cooler, slower burn that continues to build in flavor as the cigar progresses. A delicious (and inexpensive) display of large-ring cigars.

Top-notch CI pricing seals the deal.

NOTE: Oliva has recently changed the packaging on Flor De Oliva. They are now offered in bundles of 20, rather than bundles of 25.

Flor de Oliva
These are the best cigar for the price I have found. I try all of the rest and I keep coming back. They have a nice sweet start and burn well. The price is starting to creep up. I hope they won't price them out of reach.

Great Cigar for the money
If you like a strong Maduro cigar this one is for you. Not much money for a bundle of cigars. These hold up and don't unravel like the super cheap cigars. I get about 1 hour of smoking time when sitting on the porch after dinner. The Oliva family does it right, You cant go wrong.

A good Waste of money
Very poor cigar, I have been smoking cigars for ages, this garbage is a complete waste of money,. it burns fine, the taste is dry and harsh.
3 out of 5
Good cigar, but hit or miss
Pretty good cigar, but it's sometimes hit or miss on it being a really good cigar or one that should have stayed in the pack. I could also do without the sweet, sugary initial taste, but that's what Oliva intended, so it is what it is.

Big fan of Oliva V, however this giant Flower of the Oliva family is very enjoyable.

These small hand- made cigars are great everyday. They burn evenly and have a good flavor. I will order them again.

Oliva Flor de Oliva Robusto
In the given price range, this is one of the really good cigars out there. It appears to have a lightly sweetened tip, burns evenly, and is consistently constructed - whereas I've found others in that same range to have problems from cigar to cigar. Oliva is one of the quality brands I'm familiar with.

I will buy again
They have a sweet tip, not too sure about that. they do burn well and taste great. It takes about a 1/2 inch of smoking and the sweetness is gone and is very enjoyable.

Great value
Cigars have mild even taste. Great smoke anytime of day. Only negative is some of the cigars were rolled tight, making it hard to draw. But good cigar will order again.

Loosely packed
After several years of looking at these monsters, and being an aficionado of other Flor de Oliva's I was disappointed that this thing hardly lasted nine holes, and we play fast! I will try another next round and see if it is any better. Right now, I am giving them a three star rating.

Oliva Flor de Oliva Sumatra wrapper review
Not the best cigar I've smoked, but the best cigar for the money. I find that Toro or Churchill sized cigars satisfy my cigar habit of one or two cigars a day. Clearly, I'm smoking too often, and If I had the discipline to smoke less, I would definitely buy better cigars like Punch or Oliva V's. But I must emphasize that I am completely satisfied with the quality and price, and have turned a lot of cigar smoking friends on to this brand. While I would judge these cigars to be a pretty fast burning stick, the only problem I've encountered is the occasional cigar that is either wrapped too loose or too tight, resulting in a very unsatisfactory smoke. So I'll put it this way: if you have a daily cigar habit and you're a cheapo like me, I highly recommend Oliva Flor de Oliva cigars. Find a size that suits you and enjoy.

Oliva Maduro Versus regular Oliva
I tried the Maduro as a test. Didn't like it.I've been smoking Oliva Flor de Oliva for many years. I like that sweetness that you get when you first take the cigar to your lips.Don't get that with the maduro. Also many more cigars are plugged in the maduro versus the standard O. Flor de Oliva. Cheers!!

I HOPE THEY NEVER DISCONTINUE THIS CIGAR!
I understand that everyone's pallet is different. However after 2 years in Cigar of the Month Club, I have developed my pallet and absolutely love everything about this cigar. It's medium enough for any occasion/pairing and burns great. The hint of sweet on the tip is a nice touch and with the price, it is definitely my default smoke! The Oliva family puts out some great sticks! (A higher end recommendation would be the Oliva Serie V)

Great sticks for the price.
These cigars are fantastic everyday smokes. I buy them religiously. Cigars are very pricey and I love an occasional 10 dollar stick but when you want a bundle for a great price why not smoke Oliva's.

My Go To Sticks!
This is my go to, every day cigar. I have never had a bad stick. They burn the same, everytime, and always taste fantastic. Only thing I hate is that UPS can never seem to deliver my orders on time. Always seem to get delayed for some reason or another.

Excellent Golf Course Cigar
These cigars, for the price, is the best cigar when your on the course and you set them aside to hit a shot. They burn smoothly and don't ash out. I have been smoking these for over 10 years. Now the Oliva G or Perdomo are my cocktail and sitting back favorite.

The Price is Right. The Taste is awesome!
If you are looking for a madura cigar that tastes like a much higher priced madura cigar, look no further. Flor de Oliva madura cigars are always consistent in construction, flavor, and will never burn out.....

Value, value, value!
I can honestly say the only reason I purchased such a long stick is the price ratio of tobacco per dollar (versus a robusto for example). That said, the Flor de Oliva is always a great smoke. What a great performer and flavor-full stick for the cost. Sure it is no Padron, but look at the cost. Very unlike all the other bland "cheap" stick I have tried. This is now a regular in my humidor. Don't be afraid to pop for a bundle just because you are not sure you will like them. I think there is a high percentage chance you will!
4 out of 5
Oliva! Great Find
This is a great deal for those looking for a bargain stick. It has a lot of flavor for the money. It may not compete with a Padron, but if you like good flavor and performance, it will beat a lot of $5-$7 sticks, and for my money, this one is a straight-up winner all the way.

What an excellent cigar...even those around me liked the smell of it! A smooth draw cigar that stays lit & has a mellow taste all the way to the nub...torpedo end keeps it from unraveling during the entire smoke!

Sweet tip ????
I agree with several others who say these have a sweet artificial taste, like the end was dipped into something. Not the Oliva I'm used to smoking .

A cigar snob's daily
As a cigar snob, I originally thought these would be mediocre given the price. When I received a few in a sampler, I reluctantly tried them. WOW! These have become my daily cigar, simply for their outstanding value and consistent quality and flavor. Nice medium, earthy notes that begin very sweet, and end peppery and dry. For the cash, I'd say this cigar is worth twice what they charge for it.

Descent Smoke
I was skeptical of cheap smokes. A forum member sent me one to try and I found it be rather good. Certainly not a top notch smoke, but for the price this is good and is my lawn watering stick.

Great Cigar
These are by no means Arturo Fuentes's but they are smooth, well made and even burning with a pleasant flavor that can be enjoyed a lot more often then the more expensive brands. It is one of my favorite and very consistent budget smokes.

Great Golf Cigar
The smoke is good and they are value priced. Medium strength and smooth from start to finish. Well packed so it will stay lighted when chipping and putting without having to relight. Lasts about 7-8 holes. A regular in my Humidor. The Flor de Oliva Gold is milder than the FDO

One of my favorites
My local cigar shop owner suggested these to me for a good golf course cigar, because they are inexpensive. Since then I have smoked literally hundreds of these. They well-constructed, smooth, draw well, and consistent. It is my go to every day cigar!

I have enjoyed Flor de Olivas for 15 years and have shared them with friends and family. A very tasteful and enjoyable burn to help wind down the day or enjoy a round of golf

Great cigar for the price. I smoke them when I'm not sure how much time I have. That way if I have to abandon the cigar it's no big deal at such a low price per stick.

You get what you pay for!
These can be a very good cigar, but you need to get one that is fresh and moist. Most are very dry and brittle with no draw. In a bundle of 20 you get about 4 good ones, 14 passable ones and 2 you will need to just throw out, but as I say in the title, you get what you pay for!

For a bundle cigar, this is a surprisingly tasty, well-made smoke. I find myself reaching for this over more expensive brands in my humidor when I want an inexpensive, pleasant, trouble-free smoke.

Pleasantly surprised.
I try a different box of everyday cigars when I order, along with some premium ones. Usually the less expensive ones are noticeably inferior, as expected. This was the first time I tried the Olivia Flor de Toro, and I was surprised at how good they were for the price. These have become my permanent everyday cigars.

Hit or Miss
Pretty good cigar, overall, when you get a good one. The quality doesn't seem consistent in each pack. Sometimes you get a great one, other times I can't wait to put it out. Good price per stick, but I'd like Oliva to improve the consistency.

My golf cigar
I started smoking this particular cigar for a number of reasons. Initially, it was due to the reputation of the company. Then, the price for each bundle was to my liking. Thirdly, and unfortunately, you produced them in the lancero size..a disappointment to find that you discontinued that size. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!! And lastly, I am amazed that although at first I bought them exclusively for smoking only on the golf I started smoking them because they tasted so good. Since you discontinued the lancero I smoke the lonsdale only. Don't stop making them.

Oliva, The tastiest Cigar on the planet
I've spent thousands of dollars to learn which cigar I enjoyed the most, and no matter whether its Maduro, or conneticut broad leafs, mild, med, or full flavor Oliva is THE brand. Everything they make is perfect. I've spent the big bucks on all their products, and will continue to, for life. If you're new to Cigars, and don't want to spend a lot to "get into the culture" quite yet, and just want an amazing cigar, Choose Oliva. If you're an old hat with cigars, I'd encourage you to try Oliva, they are absolutely magnificent!

Absolutely Love Them!
These have been my “go to” daily smokes for a couple years now after having smoked a house brand from another site. Inexpensive, great taste, ideal for handing out to non-fussy “wanna be” cigar smoking buddies (on the golf course). There are cheaper cigars, and I’ve tried many of the “house brand” but they lack the taste, kick, and quality smoke of these. There are better, more expensive, cigars that I go to for special occasions, but again these are a great everyday smoke and a great price. Just as there are other Online Cigar sites, but CI has on average the best price and reasonable shipping.

Mr Bundle Guy
I've been an on and off again cigar smoker my entire life. I most always buy bundled cigars. They used to come 25 to a bundle, now not so much. I'm a poor boy and can't afford a lot. Therefore I appreciate a good bundled cigar for the value. The "Oliva flor de Olivia" is a great product. That's pretty much all I've purchased over the years. Please keep stocking them. Don't raise your prices. Taxes are why I've been more of an infrequent buyer. I wish that all the cigar manufacturers would provide bundles of their product for less money. I personally don't need the extra cost of a box. Thank you and keep up the good pricing. LOVE YOUR SPECIALS!!!

Great cigar, bargain price
These are great everyday cigars and a bargain to boot. Smooth, satisfying smoke, occasionally turning a little bitter towards the end. Every so often. I'll light up one of these and get the sensation that the head has been infused with some sort of sweet flavoring - maybe one out of six cigars. Anyway, I usually smoke at least one of these every day, and, if they can continue putting them out at this low price, I'll continue to be a customer.

OK, not great
The size is terrific, the best thing about this cigar. Taste and arome a fairly good, although it gets somewhat bitter towards the end. But overall quality of construction is often a problem: splits in the wrapper, etc. For the price and size: OK, not great.

Best kept secret...
I stumbled across these smokes about 6 years ago in my local smoke shop. I have since moved and forgotten how much value you get for the price of these sticks. They are inexpensive, but NOT cheap smokes. If you are looking for an inexpensive, everyday smoke that last for 1-2 hours, this is it.

Very Good Cigar For The Price /
Good Value. I prefer the size 7"-8" and a 52+ ring, the strength Medium to Full, and it is a great tasting cigar vs. many (house brands, seconds) in this price range that can smoke like rolled newspaper, and CI has a better price w/ shipping then other sites

Best Cigar for the Price
In my opinion these are the best cigars out there for under two bucks. The Oliva premium cigars are some of my favorites and these do not fall that far behind for one third the price. They really live up to the Oliva name. I generally smoke these when I do may not have a lot of time or when I am fishing. They are a quality smoke but you do not feel so bad if you have to put them out when you are only halfway through or you watch a fresh lit one floating down the river. They are also great for handing out to less experienced cigar smokers.

Do you have them specialy made or are they giving you there less than perfect cigars because of the price that you guys sell them for.

Could be a 3 1/2 star
Very good, smooth, slightly sweet to start, never harsh, wonderful end of day smoke. I even bought the foot long ones for the course as a novelty on the golf course, but I was very pleased, and my buddies who brought more expensive ones could not believe how inexpensive, and large they were. My go to smoke.

The best smoke isn't always the most expensive.
If you've never tried these beauties, what are you waiting for. I've smoked many expensive cigars, but not come close to the consistency of burn, taste, and ash as the Flor de Oliva. The next one taste as good as the last. These are on my reorder list all the time and are pretty much my everyday smoke. But don't take it from me,try them yourself. Thanks.

Flor de Oliva has always been my "go to" cigar. Sure, I've tried a lot of really great fine cigars, but for the price, consistent quality, and reasonable price.....you can't beat the Flor de Oliva Torpedo!

Flor de Oliva Churchill Maduro
Great inexpensive, everyday smoke. Medium tobacco taste, good draw and consistently good construction on every stick. I like the fact that the cap is not sweetened, unlike the natural variety.

Wonderfully consistent smoke
have tried many different cigars and always had some that were wrapped so tight they wouldn't draw. The Olivia Lonsdale has a very consistent draw all the time. I also like the size, not too small and not massive like a Churchhill.

Oliva Flor de Oliva Robusto
Best value in a Robusto! Love the sweetness of the wrapper and the all around pleasant smoke. A winner!

Price vs. Quality
The wrapper was a little too sweet for my liking but overall considering the cheap price the cigar burns nicely and is a good selection for messing around on the golf course.

Flor de Oliva
I've been a serious cigar fan for less than 10 years. The FdO brand is the first cigar brand I tried. I have determined that this is the best (non cuban)cigar I've smoked, at literally any price. Full flavored, great construction, quality control is superb. I have smoke cigars and 5 x the price with less satisfaction.

Customer Testimonials
Good value and smooth smoke. The wrapper had a nice sweet taste.
This is by far CI's best kept affordable secret. Great flavor, great burn and a top quality cigar. If you have not tried these, you must.
Oliva Flor de Oliva has got to be the best medium cigar on the market. It has great flavor and stays on the palate for a good while. It burns slow and even. It has a slightly sweet taste and I really enjoy it. I also like the variety of sizes and you can't beat the price. I could have one of these everyday.
These are excellent for the $$$ slightly sweet wrapper great smoke all the way down to the label!
These are my everyday smokes. Love them. Cant beat the price and they are all great regardless of the size. Also great to give away or bring to parties....you'll be the hero and still have plenty of money in your pocket and your prized smokes never have to leave the comfort of your humidor.
Wanting some cigars on the smaller ring size I purchased a box of the 7x44. Not only is this well constructed with great flavor, easy even draw, with plenty of smoking time. The price is well worth every dollar spent with no regrets on my end. I would say this is a must try cigar, & I'm working on my second box.
Great Cigar! Lots of smoke and aroma. I watched the video and I have to say it was very accurate. I would buy again and consider this brand top notch, very impressed since this is their lower level value.
Great smokes for the price. They do need a bit of rest before smoothing out though.
Ordered these gems and loving it. Great burn, great taste and a awesome value. These are my go-to cigars for my day to day smoke. I highly recommend oliva flor de oliva to all and the whole Oliva line of smokes. Thanks CI
Recieved these awesome morsel the other night, great smoke with a great value. The Oliva line of cigar is one of my all time favorites. Thanks CI.
I have atleast one cigar per day and I like Flor De Oliva. I normally buy maduro but decided on a lighter sumatra wrapper. A sumatra wrapper isnt naturally sweet and the details say nothing about being flavored. I thought this cigar was ruined because it's been soaked in some kind of yucky sweetener. I smoked them nevertheless but wouldn't order them again. The sumatra is a great smoke but not this one, try to find the unsweetened. On the upside, thanks CI for all these great deals.
Great value but a few in the bundle may not be as satisfying as other. I encountered a side-burning cigar about 1 in 5. All-in-all...a darned good smoke.
Great buy-and-smoke cigar. These are just a little sweet. Not "infused" sweet, but clearly have a sweet note. These are not complex and don't develop as they smoke; they are pleasant from start to finish. I am a fan of the 90+ seconds you can find here and these are a great contrast. Excellent one, two combination which now comprise my "daily" smoke preference. These would be a good intro cigar for someone who is not afraid of a good deal of smoke.
You can't beat these babies for the price, better than some of the more expensive sticks.
I love these cigars. They are my choice of a good everyday smoke, not very expensive, but still provide a great flavor!
Very nice smoke.. I love the little sweet after bite. I enjoy them while watching the game or having my favorite spirits after a hard day. The price will not kill the wallet and the sticks are a hit time after time.
Just an awsome every day cigar. Love it on the Golf Course!
These cigars are cheap enough to be "knock around" smokes as they say it, but I wouldn't even dare! These guys are always stocked in my box. These smokes are great right from the rip but if you keep these in your box for a couple months then you have yourself a gem. I love them, my friends love them, always have always will and for the price CI has them we're gonna be smokin good for a long time..
This is a nice smoke at a reasonable price. Great to have some on hand for an everyday cigar.
This is the one! Great flavor and my friends who don't smoke cigars (I know I need new friends) compliment the aroma of this fine Nicaraguan masterpiece.
Sweet!......And I don't mean that in a good way. I have to say, I've really tried to learn to enjoy this cigar, but I can't get past the sweetness. Sorry, mediocre at best.
I have been smoking these cigars for about a year now and this has been a very nice smoking cigar with a pleasant taste. The sumatra sweet leaf wrap on these is what makes the difference. They are not flavored or sweetened. Very nice and the price is even better. Thanks CI.
My B&M always keeps these well stocked and for good reason. A tasty smoke at a very affordable price. I'm always sure to have several of these lounging in my humidor.
Love the taste and consistency! Great cheap smoke..I will be buying more soon
GAAAH! Sweet tip! Splenda! It lasted all the way through the 60 minute churchill. Totally ruined the first one. I cut the next one a bit deeper and sucked it out like snake poison well before lighting...not so bad that way. Why would they distract from the experience by soaking the tip in a sweetener? A good cigar otherwise.
Touted as being the bottom of the Oliva brand, the "Flor de Oliva" are a surprisingly good cigar! The burn was slow & even and the smoke was smooth & plentiful. I've even tried the ridiculously large "Giant 10x66". This beast is down-right silly to smoke in public. But despite it's ginormous size, I still found it to be a very enjoyable 3 hour smoke. Grab yourself a bundle of robusto or toro's. At around $2 a stick, you can't go wrong. It's a cigar you can enjoy on a daily basis without breaking the bank. The perfect balance of quality & price.
I just got my first box of these and wish i would have tried them before. They are fantastic.Smooth from start to finish.Nice even burn. I can smoke these all day for the price.Thank you CI.
HOLY ISSH!...I read the reviews, I saw Gonzo pick Video, and it was spot on! These are a GREAT SMOKE for the price, did I mention they were GREAT? I'm so glad I found a great everyday smoke! I had the Lonsdale. These will stay in humi rotation! I feel like I struck Gold!
Raspy , could not finish it. You get what you pay for. Never again.
In just under 3 years I will estimate I have smokeed close to 400 of these cigars, and that's probably on the low side. I recently started ordering from a second source to compare. You see, in the last year the quality of these cigars have started to take a turn for the worst. My last 4 orders have been full of plugged cigars, or loose cigars, or cracking cigars. In all fairness I have noticed the biggest quality issues with inspector numbers in the 20's. I too have noticed the change in flavors from bundle to bundle, some times not for the better. If you get a bundle from inspector #12 consider yourself lucky. You can't trust that will be a good bundle. Quality waining on this one. Not to mention the bundle shrinlage from 25 to 20 and the price increases from $27.00 to $34.95. $1.12 a stick to a $1.75 in under 2 years. I don't see the value anymore. If you don't mind fighting the quality issues they are still a fairly good daily cigar. although a little too pricey for what you get.
These aren't terrible--decent cigars for the price although the flavors are confused, likely because of mixed filler from the Oliva tables used within. Good for those who need to smoke or want to do so while focusing their attentions on other projects.
I drop the ball too early. I had forgot about them a few months. They sat in the humi for that period of time. Then I finally smoke one an I was impressed. I'm very sorry if anyone took me serious. I hope not anyway these very tasty, they burn just as good as any others. Their great for what you pay. You can't go wrong that's for sure. Their worth buying more than one bundle. When I get extra funds for sure I'll be buying a few bundles. Ps don't wait too long they might be on back order.
Bought a bundle of 20 of the naturals and smoked one last night. I'm very pleased. If you're looking for a mild, smooth, good-quality everyday smoke--this is a great choice. Only complaint is that the first one burned a little unevenly. However, considering the price and the quality, this stick will be a regular in my humidor!
Started smoking the Churchills about a year ago and found that, for the price, they are always consistent in quality and smoke, firm to the end, and worth every cent. Then I started with the Gigantes and found the same even though they are longer. Recommend this for a smoke at a very reasonable price. No surprises.
I have to say, Flor de Oliva has been one of my staple favorites for years. They are top notched and extremely reasonably priced for what you get. I usuallly don't get any construction flaws, but I did have one split at the cap in my humi recently. Although....I will say the humi was new, and the humidity was kinda swinging, so it was probably the humi and not the stick itself. I realllllllly enjoy the favor of the naturals. I am partial to the torpedo shape. The start is almost sweet, and the cigar produces tons of creamy smoke. I have always bought these, and I always will. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
i bought the giants 1066... great cigar...... i was wary at first because of the size... but the draw was nice and easy. And the taste was fantastic. hope they never stop making them...........
This is a tasty number and well worth the $1.50 price. It is very well constructed and burns evenly. The cigars are mild-medium with sweet tobacco flavors, and as advertised without the bite. Pesonally, I prefer to use a punch on the Robusto naturals, rather than making a full cut. I'll certainly be buying more of these, and I can't wait to try the maduros. The Oliva Familiy just can't make a bad cigar...
Flor de Oliva bundles are my any day smoke. They are very consistent. After many bundles, I can honestly say I have had only a couple with difficult draw. The price is right, the blend is very good, and they are consistent. I like good flavor, but I don't like the top of my head blown-off with strength. A difficult draw is perplexing also. It seems many times the more expensive cigars are too bold, and have too tight of a draw. I hate paying $5 or more for a cigar I cannot get the smoke through.
Hey fellow herfers, just got an 8-pak of the Flor De Oliva giants 10x66 a few days ago and smoked the 1st one tonight. This is a quality smoke, nothing gimmicky about it. Excellent draw mostly even burn that went slightly astray but corrected itself. That classic Oliva flavor came through, you know, that light salty, buttery, baked bread type of flavor, and light dashes of sweet pepper popped up every now and then. This was a solid 2 and 1/2 hours so make sure you have time. The smoke aroma was delicious as well. IMO this is not subpar by any means and the nub was even tasty(down to less than an inch)! This baby was just a whole lot of fun for not much money. Thanks as always,C.I.
I bought a bundle an it wasn't all that. All you end up is wasting space in you're humidor. The price is right that's for sure. It's better to spend a little more so you're be satisfied than upset.
I had a Flor de Oliva Gold torpedo over the weekend. It was in the humidor for a solid 3 months. Overall construction was great. Had a little unraveling as I was finishing up, but even that was very minor. The draw was excellent! The best draw I've ever had from a cigar. Very consistent burn as well. I'm more of a medium-full body smoker, but if you like the mild-medium variety, this is a great smoke! And you can't argue with the price. Enjoy!
The quality of these $30-40 per bundle of 20 cigars in overall construction and taste is the best overall value you'll going to find anywhere (except for the steep discount on clearance brands). I have tried the natural and maduro longfiller wrapped toro and torpedo sizes and you cannot go wrong, both have a medium strength that starts off with lighter tobacco smoke mixed with leathery/creamy flavors that build to a fuller tobacco smoke with leathery/woodsy flavors mid-way to 2/3rds in. The maduro wrap does add a bit more complexity to the smoke and is my favorite. I wouldn't say that these are as good as Oliva's G/O/V brands, but they're pretty close, especially for an everyday smoke, at the golf course or to give out to a smoking buddy. I understand that over the years, the overall quality has gone down a bit, also the bundle was 25 cigars just over a year ago, but it's still a great deal. On a 100 point scale, I would rate the naturals an 87 and the maduros an 88 (unblinded); consistency could be better.
I bought the bundle of the Giants 1066 just as kind of a novelty cigar for my friends and I. But it turned out that they were actually really great smokes. None of us had a cutter large enough for the cigars, and after about 3 hours of puffing on one of these, you kinda get light headed. But it was a nice mild smoke all the way through.
Awesome smokes for a great price. Love the robusto naturals.
i had in the past bought a few bundles of these torp. LOVED them! regardless of the low price, BUT! recently received a new bundle that i had waited for 4 weeks to get, to find this bunch nowhere near the quality of past smokes. I dont know what changed but i was very disappointed.
Nobody seems to rate this cigar so i thought i would give it a little love. This cigar is no Cuban, Opus-X or Partagas 160, but for a great smoke without the $5-$10 price tag, this cigar is for you. The natural is in my opinion the better bet if you want to smoke them right out of the bundle. The maduro's need about six months of aging to make them taste right, but don't get me wrong, the maduro is still a great smoke. This cigar is one of my favorites that i can smoke or give to my buddies without sacrificing quality or price. I would recommend giving these cigars a try.
I bought the torpedo maduro at the local cigar shop. You can imagine what they charged me. any way,I lit it and got a nice hit of pepper wihich mellowed into flavorable classic nicarauguan taste. agood easy draw, even burn, and some nice spice all the way.Great Nicaragn aroma. I love nicarauguan smokes. almost tasted like a puro. After paying the price that I paid, I can tell you with certainy that CI's price would be hard to beat.
This is a good cigar, not too strong with plenty of flavor! Great cigar for the price.
