Erin Go Bragh

Irish eyes are smiling!

Erin Go Bragh is a uniquely infused premium long-filler handmade with a gourmet blend. Erin Go Bragh soothes the palate with an enticing infusion of Irish whisky mellowed by creamy nuances and a slightly sweetened cap. These unique flavors gel nicely, further enhancing a fine recipe of aged Cuban-seed Dominican tobaccos and beautiful Connecticut shade wrappers. The result is a palate pleasing flavor and luxurious aroma.

Customer Reviews of “Erin Go Bragh”
Although I'm no lover of most of the flavored cigars out there, this production of the La Aurora factory shows some definite high points. Creamy, smooth with a delightful sweet cap produces thick smoke with a very light but pleasurable Irish Whiskey tone to the palate. Nice slow burning white ash and a just tight enough wrap gives it a good feel to the hand. I'm sold on these and have added several to my collection.

As one of the other commenters stated, I normally do not like flavored cigars, but these Irish whiskey cigars are AWESOME. I would highly recommend any and all to try these. The flavor is great with a pleasant aftertaste, they burn evenly, and seem to be excellent quailty slow-burning cigars!!!

I have purchased the Erin Go Bragh cigar every year for the past several years as my cigar of choice for St. Patrick's Day. This year's Erin Go Bragh cigars were exceptional and this comment was made by all who shared in my cigars. Please communicate this to the manufacturer because whatever changes that made to this year's production really paid-off in a very high quality and pleasurable smoke.

Hands down one of the best cigars I've had for the price. Introduced to my FOP and it has become a instant hit!
JS of Seligman, MO
I got one of these in an infused grab bag, or I otherwise wouldn't have tried it. That would have been a big mistake, since this was a great cigar! I promptly ordered a box of churchhills. This is one of my favorite smokes. The whiskey flavor is subtle, and the cigar flavor really comes through. I really enjoy the volume of creamy white smoke this cigar produces. Even if you normally don't like 'infused' cigars, you owe it to yourself to try these, as they very well may find a place in your regular rotation.

I'm new to cigars but I found this one to be delightful. One of my best experiences so far. Smooth, with a sweet tasting wrapper, I didn't know weather to smoke it, eat it, or raise a family and grow old with it.
JG of Lexington, KY
Just tried this little beauty tonight. Got it in a brown bag sampler pack. At first the sweet was just a little bitter on the backend but gave way about 1/4 of the way down to mellow creaminess and stayed there for the rest of the smoke. I'll definitely be purchasing again. Great smooth smoke, no burn very mellow.
DK of Cordova, TN
Tried my first the other day and found it to be a remarkable smoke! Lightly infused with Irish Whiskey, it is smooth on the palate yet interesting and delightfully tasty. I was impressed with the clean burn, fine draw and aromatic nuances. Definitely a fun cigar for St. Patrick's day but I'll be enjoying quite a few more before March!

this is one of those cigars everyone needs to try at least once in my life smooth yet robust with many decadent hints in between i would recomend this cigar to anyone and everyone

This is really a cigar i have been meaning to try for quite some time now. When i saw the great deal they were having recently on the cigarillo size, i couldn't resist grabbing a box of both the natural and the Irish cream, and it only ran me 17 bucks for 100 of them! thanks CI! Anyway to the review. These little guys are great. Ive had a couple of each flavor and they have yet to disappoint. They work great if you are feeling like a cigar and only have 20 minutes. The Irish cream is a little sweet, but it is subtle enough that it doesn't overpower the heart of the stick. And the natural flavor is great as well. Nice and mild. Great with a cup of coffee, or when out walking the dogs. Great flavor in small package, at a great price. Definitely pick up a box of these and give them a try.

And I said to myself after sniffing the cigar: "Self, this thing is going to be bloody nasty!) I was mistaken; only the pre-light aroma is nasty. Rather than being infused with Irish whiskey (Irish, by the bye, is spelt with an E...Scotch whisky does not have the E) I thought it was infused with paint thinner. Once lit, however, it was rather pleasant. Somewhat sweet, almost as if something had been painted on the wrapper. Will I buy more? Most likely not, but I'll not throw the rest of what I have in the bin.

Flavor really hits hard on this Drew Estate stick. When I tried my first Erin, from a sampler I purchased, I was kind of put off from my Drew Estate brand expectations. It has a sharp flavor about like a shot of Irish whiskey, but about four puffs into it the mellow mild followed up very creamy. So a shot of Jameson followed on by sipping on Baileys to another shot of Jameson at the bitter end sums up my feelings for this cigar. Has a decent enough flavor but it's a little pricy for the taste not unlike that of a knockaround stick.

We are on our third box of these since the spring. Read the staff review, it is 100% accurate. They offer a wonderful mild smoke that has depth. Don't be mislead thinking these are serious flavored cigars. The whiskey infusion is so subtle it just smooths out the smoke, it does not overwhelm it. At $2.20 each these are really a killer, but whats up with the name? ERIN GO BRAGH? A name change might increase market share.

I got the Irish Cream Cigarillos and after a couple days in the humi these things are great, I lovem in the morn with a cup of joe, perfect when you only have time for a 10 minute treat. Not to sweet just nice and creamy.

I have been sampling "infused" cigars to try and see what all the fuss is about. Some are good and some are plain nasty. My tastes run from Padilla 1932 to Macanudo Gold, so I can't call myself a mild or full bodied fan. That said, I truly enjoyed an Erin Go Bragh toro. This cigar is fairly ordinary in heft and in wrapper color and texture. The pre-light aroma gives the impression that the Irish Whiskey will come across as the dominating flavor of this cigar, but this is not the case. The cigar isn't rolled too tightly, so it has an easy draw and fairly normal burn. It is a mild smoke throughout which allows the tobacco taste to dominate with a slightly sweet hint of whiskey left on the pallet with each puff. Though my smaller humi for infused cigars is still pretty full, I will add a box of these to my rotation and some point. I recommend that you do the same.

I have been trying to find my special cigar for the past few years, and now i can say i have found it. If there is a better cigar i don't want to know about it. These erin go bragh's are so amazing.... I will remain a fan for what i hope to be a lifetime.
PC of Orem, UT
at first sniff they smell like an open flame and this cigar would blow your house up. but once i put it in my mouth an tasted the wrapper i knew it could be a good cigar. my only complaint is now my diesels and cao mx2s now smell like them.

Very good cigar ! Everyone that I have given one to wants to get box! I will keep these on hand in my humidor .
MD of Milton, WA
I knew when I got these that they would be like truffles to a pig. After going through some natural blends for awhile now I had decided that perhaps a little flavor might be a nice change. The Irish Whiskey translates to a kind of creme de menthe taste for me and there in lies the problem. These little minis just smoke up in nothing flat, and they're so tasty that I would be on my second box already if I had ordered one.
FV of IIGrants Pass, OR
I received my order containing these great little smokes yesterday and after sitting in the humidor overnight, I couldn't wait any longer and tried one. The first 2-3 puffs were a little harsh, but then they smoothed right out and the creamy Irish Cream flavor came through. With the harshness gone, these are wonderful flavored smokes that it makes me happy that I still have another 49 more to enjoy! These are a great buy!!
MS of Avon, NY
I am a newcomer to this world and enjoy infused and mild cigars. Even my inexperienced palate could tell right away what a quality smoke these are! You can be assured these are on my favorites list and am interested in the other lines from La Aurora.
JN of Pensacola, FL
I ordered the cigarillos a while back in the natural and the irish cream. Don't even bother with the naturals and go straight for where these little suckers are good. The irish cream isn't as cloyingly sweet as I would have expected from a flavored cigar. It has a more subtle flavor, but just enough to keep you coming back for more. The flavor is only enhanced by the creaminess of the smoke. These can burn a little hot, especially if you are like me and get carried away by the flavor and puff a little too fast. If you take your time with these, like smoking a pipe, they are at their peak flavor with a nice, cool smoke.

Just got cigarillo natural in today. Lite one right out of the box just love em. Mild an medium taste an the aroma smells great. It has spices from start to finished I'll will be ordering another batch. Thanks CI for this wonderful smoke.

Very intriguing cigar. Has to be one of the most FREE pics of all time for me.I purchased my first humidor and bought a few extra's to go with it. Well my order was well over the amount required and so I got a box of 50 Erin Go Bragh's with my purchase for FREE. Very good cigar cant wait to get them put to bed in their new home soon. Thanks again CI...
JT of HTempe, AZ
I love these! these have become my "go to" cigar of choice. though I'm hoping they get restocked soon! I'm down to my last 1!
DH of Dresden, ME
You had better be a wild man to get these. They are not bad for the cheapest smoke I have ever had.
CS of Rock Springs, WY
I bought some Cigarillos - Irish Cream and they arrived with several other cigars i ordered. I can tell these are going to be perfect for work. I can only get 5 to 15 minutes on some days and instead of lighting up an hour cigar I will be using these. Also I suggest to try Alta Gracia Irish Cream Cigarillos. They both came in the same type of box with one being red and one being green. The smell is great and I would have one over a black n mild any day.
TH of Morristown, TN
Very good for an infused, flavored cigar. I got a box of the coronas and am enjoying them in a rotation of non infused. Mild and not as harsh as anything I have had from Acid. Try these for sure if you want to get into infused cigars. Great deal!
DM of Haverford, PA
This cigar came with a sampler pack, and I'm glad I got to try it. That being said, I'm not a fan of infused cigars, but could see how once in awhile it would be a good change. I would never purchase a box of these, since 10 of them would last me a long time. It is well constructed, mild in nature, and you can tase the whisky in a very gentle way. There is also a sweet flavor on the after taste, and this is a cigar you should at least try. The draw is good, and has a great deal of smoke.
DM of Taylor, MI
My favorite so far. These have a great smell out of the box. Small hints of irish whiskey can be detected but its not over the top like a cheap candle or anything. The whiskey infusion really does smooth out the cigar like others have said. Burns pretty evenly and the construction is great. Haven't had a wrapper flake out on me once yet. The sweet cap isn't over the top either it just adds to the overall smoothness to the cigar. Very mild and easy. Great for any anywhere or anytime. Im ready to buy another box.
PK of Trenton, MI
EXCELLENT cigar!!!! Dont let the price or name fool you. They are just as good as the big name brands but they are not an "over-powering" flavored cigar. Great cigar for any occassion, any time of the day!!
JW of Brewton, AL
Cigarillos are great very smooth, still the slight hint of scotch. Just leaves you wanting more.
PF of Oceanside, CA
The cigarillos are like potato chips of tasty Dominican flavors. You can't just smoke one. If you take it easy on the draw puffing just often enough to keep it lit you will be treated to a smooth and cool flavor. Keep these in the humidity range of 70% before you smoke. Off the truck my box was a little too dry and the first sticks were too harsh and did not taste so great.
C of Antioch, IL
A very tasty smoke... Pleasant draw and a great price. I'm hooked!
SY of LOOMIS, CA
This is my "go to" cigar, always a good smoke. So I'm driving my topless Jeep around town while enjoying one of these beauties. Right behind me is a couple on a motorcycle, we stopped at a light and they pulled up next to me and the woman asked what I was smoking, that it smelled "wonderful". Rather than tell her and she forget, I just peeled the band off and handed it to her.
WF of Ridgecrest, CA
OMG!!! I just got mine today and smoked one. It was so awesome!! It was fresh and the smell of the smoke was something to be desired!!! I definitely recommend!!!
LS of Parkville, MD
Not usually a fan of flavored or infused cigar, and this one is an exception when I'm in the mood for something different. The whiskey flavor is there but not overpowering like I find in so many other infused cigars. The only drawback I have found is that every one I have smoked have had a very tight draw and can be difficult to get smoke out of at times.
EM of Bethlehem, PA
I was disappointed in the flavor of Erin Go Bragh. I bought the corona, a full box, at a discount. Having had many opportunities to try infused & flavored cigars, I have several favorites. Heaven makes an inexpensive honey stick that is my go-to flavored vitola. Of course many of Drew Estates offerings are top notch, like Blondie or Nasty. But the taste that Erin Go Bragh leaves is almost like soap. I would not buy these again, nor can I recommend them to infused enthusiasts.
BB of LOVELAND, OH
Got this in a infused grab bag sampler, as I wanted a break from traditional smoke. I reluctantly cut and burned this and had my mind blown! Very easy to smoke, not overpowering on flavor from the whisky, and about as mellow as can be had, for the first half. Second half smoked stronger, and better. For the price, this is a great blend and I most definitely will gladly recommend this.
MM of Coarsegold, CA
Really Good Cigar. I enjoyed the flavor on this one. I definitely would buy again. I am looking forward to the next time I smoke one of these. I would like to see a smaller size as this was a long smoke. I mean I'm not complaining at all! This was an awesome flavor, little bit of bite at the end but consistent all the way through. Must have been wrapped well cause the ash lasted forever!
DS of Cedar Falls, IA
As with many reviewers, I usually don't enjoy flavored cigars. HOWEVER, I have been buying these cigars every year at this time of year(late Feb/early March) for the last 3-4 years. I march in the St Paddy's Day Parade and I light one as the march begins and the cigar lasts the entire length of the parade...Slainte !!
FG of ROCHESTER, NY
Corona: Easy to light. Below average construction with slight uneven burn requiring a few touch ups and a very tight draw. Nice aroma with at most mild smoke output. Thin feeling smoke on palate. Artificial cream taste on cold draw. Once lit, flavors are mild cream, mint and hay with only a slight artificial taste remaining on the short finish. Slight sweetness on the lips. The poor construction of this cigar made it harsh and bitter which overpowered any positive flavors.
PC of LEXINGTON, SC
....They have an unpleasant smell when unwrapped from the bundle that, fortunately, get less offensive after they have been in a humidor for a couple of days. Once lighted, the flavor is cannot be described, at least in polite language, and the aroma is only tolerable when smoked outdoors in the wind. I like a flavored cigar after dinner with brandy, but smelly, foul-tasting is not my idea of flavored.

Not sweet at all!

Decent, good for the price

Not bad. Delicious aroma, mild-medium strength. The hint of Irish Whiskey sets them apart - very nice!
MP of Benton, AR
Flavored cap with mildly medium draw. Great combination. Similar to Drew Estates Acids but for 1/2 the price!
JT of SEWELL, NJ
Without a doubt my favorite from CI love the Churchill's and Robusto's either way you can't go wrong. My Father-In_law smoked almost all my Churchill's.
JR of Voorhees, NJ
Good cigars to share with everyone that you know, a festive mild flavorful smoke, although I did not taste the whiskey. Worth purchasing again next March to boast some Irish pride.
CF of Fort Drum, NY
Tried them, loved them, went to the store, and picked up a box.
JH of shohola, PA
Not much to this. Ok for a quickie at work, but not the most enjoyable smoke....

Erin Go Bragh

Posted by Keith

Draped in a smooth and even Connecticut shade wrapper with a lovely, golden-brown hue, Erin Go Bragh is downright picturesque. Adorned with a colorful orange, white and green band styled after the Irish flag and appropriately infused with authentic Irish whisky, its name – Erin Go Bragh – as most will know, means “Ireland forever.”

Slide it under thy flared nostrils and you’ll pick up a subtle pre-light aroma of sweet whisky and cedar…. distinct and enticing, if you ask me. I’m usually wary of flavored cigars. But this isn’t a regular flavored cigar. More subtle and nuanced, it more appropriately belongs in the “infused” or “gourmet” cigar category. Produced in the Dominican Republic at the prestigious La Aurora factory, the filler blend is composed of 100% Dominican long-leaf. At a glance, and after rolling it between forefinger and thumb, it has the look and feel of a quality premium cigar.

Surprisingly, the whisky taste is very subtle – just enough to let you know it’s there, and far from influential. The whisky manifests itself in the aroma, which offers a nice interplay of rich, sweet whisky with buttery, well-aged tobaccos. The profile is toasty and creamy with a little natural sweetness balanced by the real taste of tobacco – this crisp tobacco taste complements but doesn’t overpower the whisky infusion.

Characterized by an easy draw and dense clouds of white smoke plumes emanating from the foot, Erin Go Bragh is exceedingly mild and smooth. The cigar itself is not overly flavorful but the mix of the distinct aroma and the creamy smoke make for a pleasurable experience. I love Erin Go Bragh as a golf cigar, or simply as an occasional and welcome change of pace. The whisky infusion is the key in this blend. Light and smooth enough to be your first cigar of the day but still has enough junk in the trunk to serve as a capable after-dinner treat.
