Alec Bradley 90+ Rated 2nds

Alec Bradley cigars are scorching hot, ranking among the highest rated handmades on the market today. These are legit 2nds from the brand's 90+ rated blends only. Tempus, Prensado, Family Blend, etc. Each burns and tastes just like their high-end firsts, but were sorted from the packaging line due to minor imperfections or slight variations in wrapper color. I'm still sworn to secrecy as to which is which, but I think you'll easily figure it out.

Deal of the Century! The ones I received are, except for not being box pressed, indistinguishable in color, weight and aroma from the corresponding, much more expensive 'firsts.' Seconds can be a real crap shoot, but at least in my experience, these are all they claim to be. Love you guys - More, Please!

Snatched up a bundle of Robusto 52. Can't fathom the quality of these things for the price. Construction maybe a little off here and there, but these are tasty and satisfying way beyond their price. You can not go wrong here people!
WP of Clarkston, GA
I believe the petite corona is actually the Nano from the Maxx line. It's delish! Oak, and sweet maduro taste, full bodied. I've smoked many of these and they are a great value. Occasionally I have had one that looked weird and tasted bad, almost like it didn't get a wrapper leaf. Well worth the money none the less.

The (5.6"x46) Is A Medium Bodied Creamy Chocolate Tasting Cigar, Definetly Worth The Price, Im Smoking On My Second Bundle Of Them.
MF of Bogalusa, LA
This package can only be described with one word; FANTASTIC... Don't pass these up! The package I got were superb visually. They were rolled a little tight but all the AB flavor was there. I'll be ordering more ASAP.......
RR of Worcester, MA
Alec Bradley cigars for well under $3 a stick. Fantastic! And they taste every bit as good as you expect from AB.
KB of Shelbyville, KY
This is a must have cigar for the humidor, great taste, even burn , the aroma is awesome, alittle piece of heaven.

Got my first bundle of AB 90+ 2nd's Corona's, and it won't be my last. These cigars are beautifully made, great draw, and the taste is awesome. Can't go wrong with this deal.
BD of Palm Coast, FL
I recieved my 2 bundles of sticks and when I closed my eyes and smoked one, the taste was just as the label was there. The visual is nice no blemishes or weird veins, the draw was nice and the burn was very even. The only problem is CI cant restock quick enough on some of the sizes I like the most.

Wow, Just got my bundles of AB & Man o War 2nds,and I was very impressed. You can't beat these deals folks...If you love these brands and have a limited pocket book, you better jump on these while you can.Keep up the good work CI !!!

I scooped up 40 sticks the last time CI offered Alec Bradley 2nds & was amazed at the quality & price. I was disappointed by not getting more since they disappeared in a matter of days. I am stocking up this time, even though the cost has increased from less than $2 a vitola, to $2.50-$3.00 each. A competitor has had them available all along at these new prices, but I resisted the temptation to defect from my 'Gar place & did not order any. I let a few of mine lay in the humidor & after seeing the new dynamic list of sizes CI is offering, I raced to the computer to place an order, while lighting up one of the Family Blend 2nds I had hidden away. I carefully scoured the new list & am ordering 40 of a mix of FB, Maxx, Tempus & Black Market. My 4 favorite blends. Not just Alec Bradley blends, but any blend every made! I will pay the toll & chalk it up to not ordering as many as I should have last time. But I didn't know then what I know now. This is no trick or "bait & switch" tactic. It is simply as stated. Alec Bradley deliciousness at 50 to 75% less than a box & banded first. Why on earth AB decided these weren't up to snuff, I have no idea? I place an original band on them, mix 'em in with the real thing & I cannot tell the difference. I didn't find so much as a spot on a wrapper. They smoke the same, taste the same, by golly, they are the same! I wonder how long these will last? I hope long enough to see them discounted again, but I'm not taking any chances & will be ordering as many as my limited funds will allow. I cannot recommend them however, because the more everyone else buys, the less I will have all to myself!
I got these bad boys in about a week ago . . and they are absolutely delicious. Totally worth the money. Actually, they should probably bump the price up! I ordered the Churchill line and I'm totally happy with it. Just the other night I was having one of these fine smokes and the wind kept blowing towards my friend's face. And I was really trying not to do that . . .rude and all. So I said "man I'm sorry this smoke just keeps flying to your face" and he says " don't be, it smells like heaven". Totally worth it! Stop reading this review and get yourself a box!!

Straight to the point, great smoke at a great price. Buy these. Buy lots of these. If you only order one bundle, you're gonna be really mad at yourself.
These are an absolute steal!!! I'm always searching for a great stick to smoke that won't break the bank and these are that stick. Flawless construction and burn, I found one or two dark or off color spots on each cigar, but nothing to really notice or worry about, I've seen worse on an $8 stick. I have always been afraid of seconds, but no more, these are my new must have in my humidor. Good smoke output, creamy, hint of sweetness with just enough great tobacco taste to not overwhelm, but definetly stay interested. I like the 5.5x54 and 55's, I suspect the tempus line, but at this deal, and experience who cares... Better order up before I do!!! :)
I have ordered two packages of the Alec Bradley 2nds. I was really hoping for Prensado or Tempus, but the other blends would have been acceptable. The first order was the churchill #1. It was clearly Family Blend. No problem, that's a decent cigar. The next time I bought Lancero #1 because Tempus is the only blend that comes in lanceros and the dimensions matched up perfectly. Guess what? Family Blend lanceros. While the cigars themselves are almost indistinguishable from firsts in how they smoke and appearance, I won't be ordering them again. It's a gamble what you're getting and I would only recommend buying these if you would be perfectly content with whatever blend you receive.

the lancero 7.5x41 is a strong smoke. the ones i got are maduro. full flavored smoke that started strong, mellowed out a little, then picked back up in the second half. it canoed a bit more than i'd like, but it corrected itself. at times the draw was easy, others it was tough. for the price it is a decent full bodied leave your mouth tingling cigar!

#2 of the batch i smoked was a 5x52. wrapper was similar to the 48, just a tad lighter. cigar was pretty mild, draw was a bit tight. left me unimpressed.

just got 100 alec bradley seconds in the mail. i bought 20 of each 5 different sizes through the weekly special... i unwrapped them all tonight for storage, and the first thing that stood out was the 5x48 robusto (only seen this size in the weekly special x20) cellos were all yellow! this was a nice surprize, i don't see these things sitting around long enough for this but you heard it here. i had to smoke one of these tonight. review in a minute. all the wrappers look the same except for the lancero size (7.5 x 41) which is maduro. all the others are a brownish, habano? not entirely sure. i can say the 5 x 48 is a great smoke. you can tell these are seconds. there are visible imperfections with many of these cigars... that being said, the 5x48 smoked like a champ. draw and burn were perfect. it smoked like a much larger ring gauge. took me almost an hour, and i wasn't taking my time (it's cold in the garage!). the cigar constantly slowed down and picked up. not sure if intentional or not, but it was interesting. tons of flavor, i'd call it medium leaning toward full. my nose is tingling a bit from exhaling through it! it's going to take strength not to order more of this size before this deal expires...i'll post more as i smoke the other sizes
CE of Milford, PA
seconds will always be seconds to me. Long rest helped some, but maybe smaller ring would help also. But all things considered........give them away on golfcourse to your buddy........these were kinda depressing

UNFAIR review follows. Got my first of the AB 90+ 2nds today. Had to smoke one right out of the packaging. I never to this as a rule. The rest have gone in the humidor for hopeful improvement. Will report in a week. The first one was very tight, was thinking about clipping the ash as using a drawpoker to open up the was almost painful to get through the midpoint; by the finish the draw was still a little tight but rewarded with the Alac Bradley volumes of smoke and the fine Honduran flavor I like. Throughout the ash had a chisel shape from the tight filler. The aftertaste is sweet, almost syrup-ey. The blend is a keeper...hope the draw improves with a little time in the humidor.

These are an exceptional value, and compare very favorably to any of the 1st quality Bradleys in my humidor.
MO of Libertyville, IL
smoked an ab family blend 1st this morning (my first), decent cigar. draw was a bit tight in the first half...just goes to show no cigar is perfect, not even "1sts". i've smoked a dozen or so seconds, not sure if any of them were this blend.. very simlilar in flavor profile, but different in the end. some have burned weird, most of them corrected themselves. wrappers are very similar in many of the sticks to the family blend wrapper. natural style wrapper... when i open my coolidor to grab a smoke i find myself reaching for these seconds more and more, passing more expensive "branded" cigars. for the price i'll take the chance on these seconds, considering many of the sizes are great full flavor cigars.
CE of Milford, PA
5x54 robusto is a pretty mild cigar. which 90+ rated line this came from is beyond me! the cigar burned great, mild body and mild flavors of cedar and cream. smoked like a conneticut.
CE of Milford, PA
2nd review, follow-up, 5.5X52. Cigars have been in the humidor (digital humistat says '44'). Unlike the first one which was smoked upon arrival, the draw is perfect. The construction was excellent and the flavors outstanding...started out with the most intense chocolate flavor I have ever tasted, transitioning to lighter chocolate and peppery (not overly so) by the second third. Finish to the 1 in stub was still good, hint of vanilla as the pepper faded away. Thoroughly enjoyable! I highly recommend this cigar in this shape. For reference my everyday favorite cigars are AB American Classic and La Glorias in the same/similar size and shape. These seconds (really seconds?) are on my daily favorite list.
BB of San Antonio, TX
Very nice cigars, and will buy again.
MF of Murfreesboro, TN
Try them. I enjoy Alec Bradley cigars a lot. The downfall is the price attached to them. I enjoyed the 2nds because they still smoke smooth and I don't have to worry about dropping $6-$10 for an hour of enjoyment(Though on special occasions I would). These work well as an everyday cigar or a give one to your buddy cigar. Cheap and delicious.
TC of Windsor, MO
The 90+ 2nds were a great smoke for the money. I did have 1 bad one in the bunch of 20 I ordered...But I am happy with the purchase...They were a great smoke and if I put a band on them my friends didn't know the difference. I am already reordering!
Excellent, tasty smoke.
I just received the 6X60 Gordo #8's which appear to be either Alec Bradley's Connecticut or the American Classic blend. I'm more inclined to think its the Connecticut though due to how light the wrapper is. I also got the 5X60 Gordo #2's which I believe are the Family blend. I'll update this review after I get a few of theses smoked, but for the price and Alec Bradley's quality sticks, you can't beat them.
A superior smoke. Perfect draw, good volume, smooth and delivers the full punch as one might not expect. This one is too pricey for me but when I find it on special it is instant order placement!
SS of Chapin, SC
So-so. No value.
Not a bad cigar, but not a great one either. I couldn't finish the one I bought.
JW of Bowling Green, FL
I am in love with Alec Bradley cigars but I want to smoke them all the time. I just picked up my first of many 10 packs and I am completely happy with them! A little imperfection on some of them but overall, a great buy! You won't be disappointed.
JS of Milwaukee, WI
I have smoked a number of Alex Bradley's but couldn't place what cigar I was smoking. They were OK but hardly what I would rate a "Premium" smoke. For just about $2.50 a cigar they were fine. No bad burns and flavor although not complex was in the med-full range I enjoy. I continue to try seconds hoping for the "Holy Grail" a fantastic second of a great cigar. (If only I knew where Padron and Garcia's seconds went) If you read this - my experience wasn't bad it wasn't a throwaway but it was as advertised a $2 cigar - I got what I paid for.
MW of Hoover, AL
Can't beat the price. Great cigar!
CP of Bristol, CT
Took a chance, being unfamiliar with the Alec Bradley line. My "toros" came in a little skinny, in my opinion, but DAMN! This is a GOOD smoke! Even burn, sturdy ash, a balance of spice - none-too-peppery - and cream. I'm going to try a larger gauge, but this flavor at this price? It could easily become my everyday go-to.
PS of Decatur, GA
Tried them and found my new everyday smoke. If I get time to have a cigar, I am grabbing one of these. Very happy.
JK of Gretna, NE
Okay, so my toro was not the ring gauge I had expected (more like a 42 rather than a 48-52 ), but the flavor is outstanding! I'll try again. No problem. Any time… HAPPILY!!!
PS of Decatur, GA
I love these cigars! They are my personal 'go to' cigar when I want something nice. Can't beat the price for the quality of tobacco, burn, and flavor, period.
JS of Milwaukee, WI
Tried a different ring gauge this time - the robust 5.5 x 54. I don't know the AB brand well enough to take a stab at which one this is (open to some hints, fellow smokers!), & my digging yielded jack squat!!! So… Pre-light this one smells like freshly baked bread. Never smoked in the morning, but today? Hell yes! I have toasted up my AB 2nd to enjoy with a deep, dark cup of straight-up organic French roast Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. A crisp cool Sunday morning here in Georgia, it just seems perfect. And, in fact, it is! I did notice some construction inconsistencies in this batch, so I grabbed the "weakest" looking stick. About 1" in, a burn spot appeared @ about the 1/3 mark. I chose to let it go to see if this was going to canoe and wreck the smoke. I'll be damned if the cigar didn't corrected itself and is now burning perfectly, no touch-up required. While it is a little spongy, this has an excellent draw, pleasant mild-medium flavor and mild strength, plumes of smoke, & no harsh aftertaste. The aroma reminds me of my grandfather's pipe tobacco, circa 1978. (Olfactory flashback!) This is as good with my coffee as it is with my bourbon. At this price point, buy them, enjoy them, share them with your newbie friends. Cheers!
PS of Decatur, GA
Love them. I am definitely ordering these again.
JS of Joliet, IL
First time trying them; very impressed. Enjoyable smoke. Will definitely be ordering them again.
GS of Moriches, NY
Just got these over the weekend and tried one out right away. Gotta say I loved it!!
RD of Albuquerque, NM
I loved these cigars. 8 out of 10.
DG of smyrna, GA
Very distinct flavor & blend. Not a huge fan, but still worth a try.
CG of Woodland, CA
Just received my 10 pack and I AM AMAZED! There is nothing 2nd about the purdy sticks. I will be ordering more, no questions asked.
JC of San Antonio, TX
Great cigars. Would order again. 2nds are an incredible bargain. Maybe my eye sucks, but I can't understand why these were rejected at the factory. No issue with even burns, no visible defects on wrapper.
DD of Bucyrus, KS
I'm new to cigars and I enjoyed this cigar almost as much as the forty dollar single Padrone 1964 anniversary cigar. The best buy deal I've found so far. Gonna buy more. Awesome!!
SG of Citrus Heights, CA
great smoke for real bargain price will get more of these
JK of marshalltown, IA
Good mild smoke. Produces a lot of thick smoke, mild flavor kicks in about an inch into the cigar, burns well until the last third then the cherry burns out within 2 minutes sitting on the tray. Still a great deal for $2.50 per cigar.
GD of San Diego, CA
I've been looking to try a Lancero for a while now, but hadn't pulled the trigger until these came along at such an awesome price. I let them soak for a week because I didn't want to be overly eager and ruin my first experience right off the bat. Let me tell you, these things are amazing. Thick, white smoke. Perfect draw. No touch ups. Exceptional construction...all of them. As soon as I finish this, I'm ordering 5 more mazo's. I want to see what these taste like after a couple months while I chew down on all of the first 10 I ordered over the next couple weeks.
This is my second shipment of AB 2nds. Mixed results this time. Torpedoes were just like the previous shipment, some surface blemishes but had great taste with an easy draw and plenty of smoke. I also purchased the Gordos and they are very bad. Extremely poor draw (to the point of not able to be smoked). I have tried 3 so far and all have been the same. There are no visible defects in the wrapper but the sticks are not very firm. They may have a channel or holes allowing air through/under the wrapper. The result is a mouth full of air rather than smoke. For the price, I would recommend the Torpedoes, but stay away from the Gordos.
Big fan of AB's nica puro. Tried these based on the price, for a cheap everday smoke.I found myself favoring them over other big name and more expensive cigars. now I pick some up with every order
JN of Tacoma, WA
On my third try with the #5 Robusto. The first two tries I was sent the wrong size and the last time I was sent the right dimensions, but was sent torpedoes instead of Robustos. I'm guessing the bins that these are being picked from are a little mixed up. But these tend to be a little dry and require some time in the humidor before lighting up.
SR of Dallas, GA
Great value!! try these on for size you will be amazed!!
