Miro Sale

Miro Miro on the wall....

Miro - I don't know what it means. But what I can tell you is they are part of Compania Hondurena de Tabacos' new releases for the US market. A crazy popular brand in Europe, they decided to try their luck in the good ol' U.S. of A. The good news is, we gave them a whirl and thought they were pretty damn good. Real good. And I think you'll agree.

Medium-bodied and stretching toward medium to full, Miro delivers a nice array of well-balanced smoke. Thanks to a dark Sumatra wrapper and a core of long-fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras, meaty notes of leather, earth, dried fruit, and well-aged tobacco wash over the palate. Densely packed and heavy in the hand, Miro burns slowly, revealing a wonderful aroma. Europeans might have questionable tastes in a lot of areas, but they were right about these guys.

I enjoyed a Miro Toro this afternoon. Very smooth cigar based on my tastes. It smoked well with no irregularities and maintained some nice woodsy/leather notes throughout. Not much in terms of spice or pepper though.
Customer Testimonials
I received a Miro as a gift from a recent cigar purchase. I let it sit in a humidor for about a week then gave it a try. It lights good but I too had an uneven burn. Beautiful creamy smoke, perfect draw and finished well until I could no longer hold it. Very nice cigar but I think I can find the same quality for a bit less price.
Tried a couple of sticks. Started smooth with a good draw yet began to burn slightly uneven. After relighting hit a few rich spots before evening out again. Well rolled & looks good it s still a better than average smoke. Maybe because it s a new brand the company will hopefully improve the quality of a good looking cigar.
Had my first MIRO tonight and I had to write a short review. I was pleasantly surprised on all levels. The burn was perfectly even and slow well over a hour long smoke for a robusto. The smoke was smooth and robust leaving a nice after taste down to last pit of nub I could hold in my fingers. Never got to hot perfect to the last puff only complaint was a little to tight. Defiantly an every day smoke. I will be purchasing a box of these keep in my humidor.
