“Enjoyed this cigar much more than I thought I would. Bundled cigars tend to fall a bit short for me but this was a nice surprise. The description is dead on as far as flavors, although I also got a raw peanut flavor that lingered about . The flavors can be delicate so it's not the cigar to smoke on a fried palate, save that for the full-bodied beasts. This is however a solid smoke that smokes well above it's asking price. If your looking for flavor and value, look no further. This cigar starts off kind of bland then transitions through the flavor continuum nicely after a half-inch or so. There are about three distinct flavor transitions that I was able to detect, very rare with a bundled stick. Flavor, value, and a excellent draw/burn = another CI winner!”

“I found the Oliveros Sungrown to be a very enjoyable cigar. Each cigar I buy gets a three-week rest after the truck delivery. This one, after said adjustment period, was a very enjoyable medium bodied cigar. A bit of spice and after the first inch a peanut/peanut butter sweetness that I found very enjoyable. “I got an amazing deal on these from the bid site and wasn't expecting much. I let them rest for a few weeks before lighting one up, then this past weekend I decided to give one a try. I must say, these are a great smoke. The burn was even, draw was easy, and flavor was excellent! I had to ash it twice throughout the entire cigar. It held together great and only needed a touch up once. The flavor is bold and spicy, but not overwhelming. It consisted of pepper, earth, and leather with a sweet/spicy finish. It was so good I smoked it until I literally had no room to hold onto it. Regardless of price, this is an enjoyable cigar that stands up to the high priced cigars that I've smoked in the past. I'd purchase more over a Macanudo any day!”

I've read reviews for some of the Oliveros cigars and seen that people were disappointed, but this one sure treated me right.
