Te-Amo Revolution

The revolution of Te-Amo.

For years, TeA-mo has stood as the juggernaut of Mexican cigars. Well-known throughout the world for their highly traditional handmades, the company has now branched out in a different direction. This time around an edgier, more daring creation takes the driver seat. Introducing, Revolution by Te-Amo.

Once you put the overly simple, and slightly cheesy band out of your mind, Revolution is actually quite impressive. It's rich, smooth and slowly evolves throughout. To craft Revolution, a dark brown San Andres Habano wrapper is draped over a bold core of Nicaraguan, San Andres Negro, and San Andres Corojo long-fillers, all hugged by a hearty San Andres Corojo binder. Then each cigar is pressed into a unique 'Ovalado' shape, a roundish box-press, truly allowing the blend to shine. Warm, velvety smoke ushers in earthy sweetness before notes of leather, cedar, spices and rich tobacco take stage. Medium to full-bodied throughout, Revolution is a welcomed surprise from Te-Amo.

Tight draw
I am a big fan of the Te-Amo brand. However, I found the draw a little tight on the Churchill. The Robusto is my favorite (5 star) and the Toro is next (4 star). This is coming from a man who generally prefers big cigars.

Very disappointed in the smoke of this particular cigar. It was rolled extremely to tight could not enjoy as much as I tried. Had the robust size so maybe the size had something to do with it.
Customer Testimonials
In my hand right now...I like it, good flavor not too harsh, looser roll but not as loose as a Java. Burning well although I have been hitting it hard trying to work on blowing rings. Which is proving challenging. Creamy smoke - I think I like the Habano.
What a find at $6 a stick. Complexity not seen in most premium brands. Fair smoke output, solid medium leaning toward full bodied, razor sharp burn requiring no touch ups and delicious flavor profile. Long finish with varying flavors at each of its thirds. Very pleasing transitions throughout. Great steal for the price. Can be an everyday smoke that feels like a special occasion smoke if you ditch the cheesy wrapper that looks like a 5 year old designed and glued it.
I was gifted some & sat on them for about 10 months. Well because maybe the name Te Amo or the size. BOY what a surprise it was a hit with the boys & some single malt Dalwhinnie 15 & The Glenlivet 18. The stick is an odd feel at first as it is so wide a cross between a oval and a box press but we all really enjoyed the uniqueness. The pre-lit draw was great with a little grassy tobacco taste & zing of pepper. The stick is very well blended and has notes of pepper that fade. Then a great transition to a light caramel tobacco taste with a cedar tone. It may have been the age on the stick but for the CI price I would buy some and sit on them.
Very nice stogie. Draw, looks, and taste. Not overpowering. Just very nice....
Best by far of the A Turrent line. A nice mild to medium smoke for the money.
Fantastic cigar in general. Outstanding for the price. Very savory, delicious smoke. Bought a box of 18 and smoked two right away. They tasted great, but burned oddly. After a couple of weeks of rest they taste just as good, or better, and burn beautifully. Highly recommended.
